Purchased a movie year+ ago, now it's missing and wants me to buy it again
I purchased Tangled a year or two ago on itunes and my daughter watched it a mountain of times on laptops and on ipads. It worked fine. Then one day, months ago, it stopped showing up in cloud. When I search for it, it acts like I never bought it and wants me to pay for it again. It is now doing this with the Winnie the Pooh movie as well. How do I get these movies back??
Do you remember the old Apple ID and password? If so try using that.

Movie purchased over a year ago wont play now
I purchased a snowboarding movie a little over a year ago through the iTunes store and for some reason, when I go to watch it, the screen will go black, but the movie will not load or play. Is there a way to remove and re-download it? Not really sure what to do...
It is a recent quirk, signing out of the store and back in again should also have resolved it, however disabling the feature may let iTunes start up more quickly since it doesn't have to compare your library with your purchase history. Most of your past purchases are now available for you to redownload on demand from "iTunes in the cloud". Whether you want to make use of the facility or not is entirely up to you.

I have a new-in-box version of Audition 3.0 that I purchased about 6 years ago; for a variety of reasons it's been sitting on the shelf all that time. I now need to install it; It installs fine on my system (Win XP) but I can't get it to activate. I'm trying to use phone activation because the machine I will be using is not net-connected. How can I activate this s/w?

i purchased an album years ago on itunes and now iv bought a new laptop and want to put all my purchased music onto it, however it says iv only bought two songs off the one album. i know iv bought the whole album because ive got it on my iphone. how do i retrieve the rest of the songs without paying for them again?

It sounds like you are trying to download a purchased album, but not all the tracks are listed as being purchased. If you still have the receipt that was emailed to you when you bought it, you can use it to report a problem with the purchase to the iTunes Store directly with this article:

iPhones require a SIM for activation.
Put the device in DFU mode (google it) and restore via iTunes. -
Hello, To start off, I have been a member of iTunes for awhile and have been content with them, until now. I am legally disabled due to a head injury that happened when I was a teenager. I am everyday functional, but I do need closed captioning(cc) or subtitles to understand the movie or TV show. I have purchased lots of movies and TV shows from iTunes. As any new business does, iTunes has updated itself and added features for their customers. They figure out what the consumers want and like. I started to realize that iTunes added subtitles for the deaf and disabled, but as I was told by Apple there was nothing I could do about reloading those already purchased movies, to include the cc or subtitles. Since then, I don't use iTunes and it's a real shame because I love electronics and it's technology. I wish Apple would work with the consumer. Why can't I reload the iTunes movies on my PC (Win7) with the subtitles, which they now offer, but didn't when I purchased them? To me, that is wrong to do that to a customer. Now that they are including cc/subtitles , everyone is able to enjoy iTunes and not be excluded. Someone__please explain this to me. Thank you for reading this.
Carrie-Untill the movie studios agree to allow past downloads of movies outside of the US, you aill always have to have a copy of purchased movies on your computer. If not, you will have to buy them again if you delete them.

ThanksYou'll have to use iTunes on your computer to get your iPhone to the latest version of iOS. From there you'll be able to update directly from the iPhone for future releases.

I want to give a song as a gift but since I purchased it a year ago it is tagged as purchased and will not let me purchase it again?!? It is greyed out and will not allow me to click on the arrow to choose purchase or gift the song. Is there a way around this?

Itunes will not play a number of songs in my library as they were purchased a long while ago using an email address and ISP that I no longer use. When I try and play them I get the message "this computer is not authorised to play this song, authorise your computer now". Any ideas?

I recently purchased a movie (Prometheus) on my computer through iTunes and every time I try to put it on my iPhone, it fails. How can I successfully sync this video? Mind you, every other file syncs flawlessly.
Can you connect to a wifi source on the device? Enable wifi in settings on the device itself. If you don't have wifi at home, there may be a local hotspot you can use for this.
The reason this happens is carriers don't want people downloading huge files that would slow their network as well as eat up your data plan. -
I purchased a movie on my apple tv (1st generation) and I'm unable to download the movie to my computer. What am I missing? I have home sharing set up and can see my computer iTunes on my apple TV. I just can't see my apple TV movie on my computer.

If the movie was purchased on the AppleTV it wont show up in home sharing until that movie has been downloaded to an iTunes library. You can download previous purchases from the iTunse Store at any time. The article below goes over that process.

what can i do if i accidentally deleted my iPhoto from my macbook air and the App Store couldn't recognize that i have bought it before and required me to buy it again ... should i buy it again or what ? i can't manage my photos now ...
Log into the app store using the Apple ID you used to set your computer up. Look under purchases. If it is not there you may need to accept it or to unhide it
