Purchased a number a month ago but still not heard...

Although these support networks are a good idea, seems some things would be dealt with much quicker and easier if THERE WAS AN EMAIL ADDRESS WE COULD JUST EMAIL.
I signed up to a subscription a month ago and purchased an online number at the same time to take advantage of the current offer.
Any way, I am yet still to hear from Skype and I've just checked and it doesn't seem the money has gone out of my account. Can someone PLEASE tell me what's going on. I don't want to order another number for my original one to come through.. but surely something isn't right here.

    Basically my computer is running on Snow Leopard. My father bought the Lion upgrade to install on his computer, however, it ended up being that his newly purchased lap top already came running with Lion -- thus, he never ended up using the Lion upgrade he purchased. Now, I would like to use the Lion upgrade he purchased but did not use to upgrade my computer to Snow Leopard. The information he gave me for this was the Web Order Number, Part Number, and Content Code for the Lion upgrade. How do I redeem/use his upgrade to update my computer to Lion without having to purchase another copy of the Lion software from the App store? Is that possible?

  • I purchased a monthly subscription to PS and LR two months ago, but still cant download any of it to my computer. got an error, but now its completly undownloadable.

    so after purchasing, i was unable to download it to my computer so i tried it on my wifes computer, it worked on hers, but i cant get my purchased programs on it, only the trial versions. so im stuck.     To anyone that is stuggling to get any kind of apology or action from HP do not hold your breath..
    HP beat audio laptop burns my thigh, with a blister, left me with a red scar I  provided HP with a picture and offered a doctors note and all they've come back with is....
    We need to see if the laptop is broke, knowing i'm self employed and I can't give my laptop for 2 weeks while they fumble about and tell me it was broke depsite having it checked myself and it was given the all clear...
    HP have got away with leaving me with this death trap laptop that dies after 2 hours and burnt my skin which formed blisters.
    I was calm when I first spoke to an HP agent and he was surprised how polite I was given the circumstances but to be honest i'm starting to boil over now...
    I don't care if they gave me a crap laptop anything would be better than this thing... I spent £550 on this laptop I don't care if they swaped it for a cheap laptop or even a type writer, this laptop is dangerous....

    I am glad that we decided not to cut off Comcast until we decided whether or not Verizon worked for us.  At my parents' home, I can't even get a DSL connection despite chatting with tech support, reviewing the Westell manual and following through with all the troubleshooting tips on the Verizon website.
    At my house, I've been testing the connection speed between Verizon and Comcast on the days we have a connection.  Comcast is easily 3x's as fast as Verizon.
    Today I have attempted to reach Verizon by phone and via chat with no success.  I am ready to pack up their equipment and send it back to them.  Anyone know what the proper procedure would be to notify Verizon we need to terminate services?

    With that being said...
    Call up Verizon at 1800-VERIZON, contact Billing. Tell Billing you wish to disconnect service, they'll send you to retentions. In retentions, tell them why you're canceling the connection, and refuse any offer. They can't get you back, they'll put the disconnect request through.

    Not usually.
    Apple has had similar offerings every year, to which they always establish a time interval for elligibility. I've not seen where they give credit to prior sales on the education perks.

    If you've already redeemed the card onto your account then its amount should be on your account - a card can only be redeemed once.
    To rent a film, find the film in the store and (if the film studio has made it available as a rental in your country) click on its Rent button. If you are beig prompted to review your account and enter credit card details then see if this post from mountaingoatgirl lets you do so without entering card details : https://discussions.apple.com/message/24303054 . If that doesn't work then you should be able to remove your card's details after entering them.

    Seventy one is correct, you need to take this up with the manager of the store.
    Ultimately, if the guy who handled the return at the store didn't enter it into the system correctly, or if the paperwork was somehow lost, or anything else along those lines, your refund receipt is the only thing you have proving that they owe you money. If you have lost that receipt, it's quite possible that you will have lost the money that it represents.
    Go to the store. Talk to the manager. Try to recall which person at the store handled the return, and see if they remember you. Be polite but insistent, and remember that without the receipt, you are depending on those people to help you out.

    Not sure what you mean by "tried to use Word". ExportPDF doesn't change what Word can do. Can you explain what you try and what happens in more detail?

    If you do not want to use passcodes, why don't you just go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock and delete the passcode and set the lock to OFF.  That will eliminate the problems all together.

    Not quite what I heard when I went into the Apple Store in Hong Kong yesterday.
    I have just bought an iPad in Hong Kong but will eventually be travelling back to the UK.
    Louis in the Apple Store told me that iPads without cellular have international warranty but those with cellular do not (as there are slightly different models for different carriers).
    But he was pretty cagey and essentially couldn't give a clear, straightforward answer. Which most Apple employees can't.
    It is now a grey area, at the discrection of each local Apple Store & is subject, it seems, to you paying the import duty as a possible get out clause.
    Look carefully but do tell us if you got this iPad reapired. Thanks.

    Launch the Quicken application and try to open the file from there, if you haven't already. If that fails, and a simple restart of the computer doesn't help, try reinstalling the application. If that doesn't cure the problem, I would suggest you take this up in the Quicken Community:
