i recently got a macbook pro, migrating to it from windows XP pro. its operating system is OS 10 X; however, the most up to date mac OS is really (on my mac) called OS mavericks.
when i downloaded adobe reader for mac--some months ago--adobe gave me the chance to download adobe photoshop lightroom 5 as a trial evaluation. the download took a lot of time.
i never had the time to try this application yet, and now i need to do that.
the reason i have not yet tried it is because i am still in the learning curve learning how to use my macbook pro.
I REALLY NEED TO WORK ON SOME PHOTOGRAPHS! the free mac apps for photos have proved to be difficult and very time consuming. they do not have capacities to perform tasks like i want, for instance, to compress a photo, or to work on editing some photos as a batch operation. in fact, i cannot even "select" a number of photos that i need to work on. it is driving me crazy!
at this time, i need to try this product. i opened it, but the only thing that i can do is provide the license number, as though i bought the product. I NEVER TRIED THE EVALUATION COPY. not one time at all.
since i never tried it out, what can i do to try it now?
must i uninstall the program from my macbook and then reinstall the trial version? would that work since i work at home, so therefore adobe would recognize my IP address.

Two days ago I introduced photos of my baby into my PC and automatically went into the programm Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2. Then they were deleted of my photo camera. Then I wanted to access to the photos in the Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 but I read that since the end of Juny we need a decodification code and that now it is not availabel. So I don't have this code and I need to access to the photos. Please, somebody can help me?. Thank you.

I just find fixed issues where there is not shown my problem and I cannot find the way to write my question about my need of a code for Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2. I am running Lightroom 6 in conjunction with 64 bit Photoshop CS6. I need to install Camera Raw 9 plus other relevan updates for the Adobe Design and Web Premium CS6 package. Running Adobe Application manager finds the relevant updates but won't download / install them. Clicking the update button results in an error message "Application Manager has stopped working". This is a windows system running 64 bit Windows 7

Ive just signed up for the adobe photoshop pack, i use a mac, when i click download, nothing is happening.. Am I doing something wrong?? When I try and open the software I already had from trial it says its expired, or i need to use a serial number... HELP Anyone else experienced this?
If there is an option to "license this software", and it takes you to a sign-in page with username and password (not a serial number) - then just go ahead and sign in.
If it insists on a serial number you need to uninstall the trial. Then try to download again. -

Photoshop is one of the most pirated software out there and in cases loaded with malware.

see AttachmentPlease do not use the post title to post the entire question (no offense, it just makes the forum look ugly). As for your question - you really did install it? I mean with serial and install disc? If so, the update would work, because it would find the proper install info. That not being the case, there are a few things that may be wrong:
- due to you language settings, the installer cannot find the folder because it has a different name (though on Vista, that shouldn't be an issue)
- at some point, you used the CS4 Clean Utility/ Script to remove install info
- you are using a pirated copy that you may have bought on eBay or elsewhere that has a modified installer to circumvent licensing
- you are using an unlicensed version a "friend" gave you and that never was installed, but merely copied to the harddrive
That pretty much covers the immediate options, now it's up to you to tell us, which one may apply. Assuming, we are talking about perfectly legit software, re-installing it from the original media should take care of the problem. For illegal software, you should understand, that you are utterly on your own and nobody will help you, much less on the forums of the company producing the software.

2 versions of Photoshop opening on computer... but only 1 installed.
I recently purchased a new iMac and am running Yosemite 10.10.3. I re-installed Photoshop CS5 & Lightroom 4 to my new computer by downloading from the adobe website and using my serial number to add them to this computer. I am noticing that there are 2 versions showing up when I go to File: Open With. Both PhotoshopCS5 12.0 and 12.0.2 are options. I also have 2 "Adobe Device Central CS5"s: 3.0.1.0.3027 and 3.0.0.376. With Photoshop, both versions are opening on my computer and it is causing trouble and confusion for me. Obviously, I want to use the latest version. When I go to Applications, I only see one folder for Photoshop. Any advice? Thanks in advance!
I would go for a complete uninstall, remove preferences. Be sure you have administrative privileges.

I purchased an entire season of a TV show, but only six out of 7 episodes are listed in my library. When I return to the store, episodes 1-6 are noted as available to download, and episode 7 is listed as available to buy for 2.99. When I select buy, the store returns the message that I have already purchased that episode. That is true, so why is it not listed in the cloud as available to download, and/or available to view on my Apple TV list for Season 1?

If the emailed receipt shows you purchased a season of shows with Complete My Season but one of the episodes is problematic.
I would try signing out of the iTunes store from the Store menu in iTunes, then restart the computer and sign back in.
To sign in to or out of the iTunes Store:
In iTunes, choose Store > Sign In (or Sign Out).
