Purchased album...cannot access it other than through purchase history..

Help. I purchased a new album...just received my nano for b'day...new to this. Purchased but it does not show up in my itunes list to sync. How do I get this onto the playlist to sync? I can only view it in purchase history.

Did you purchase and download the album through the computer to which you're connecting your iPod? Or did you buy and download the album on a different computer?

You had already done "Repair" and "Rebuild"? These usually takes scores of minutes or hours.
Does the Library on your external drive work from the external drive? Navigate to it in Finder and double-click the name.
If it does, delete the problem Library, empty the System Trash, reboot, Verify your system disk using Disk Utility (and might as well repair permissions while you're at it), reboot, test the external drive Library once more to confirm it works properly, then close it and copy the Library to your system drive. When the copying is done, double-click the Library (now on the system drive) and see what you get.

I assume you mean 'Order an album via iTunes', not iPhoto.
If you live in France, I believe your account with Apple will need to show a French residential address and be supported by a credit card issued by a bank in France.
That means you will need to open a new account if these details are not part of your current account.
Incidentally, some albums in iTunes USA are not available in all countries due to licensing agreements etc.

Are you aware of that you can still use Pages 09 on Mavericks? You don't have to go thru the grieves of using the crippled Pages 5. Pages 09 should bi in Applications/iWork 09 folder.

The only way to do what you want is to log into your wife's iTunes Store account on your iPad. Doing this will lock you out of your account for 90 days.

Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

Unfortunately, even though things might be obvious to you, we cannot see your network, or know what you might be thinking, so we need more information from you to be able to help. The bottom line.....we only know as much about your issue as you tell us.
When you say that you cannot access data older than yesterday, are you saying that you have a Time Capsule which has been making Time Machine backups in the past, but you now cannot see any backups that were made before yesterday?
Have you been backing up using other Macs, and you can see all of the backups of the other Macs when you check?
Is the indictor light on the Time Capsule green, or is it blinking amber?
What operating system are you using on your Mac? If you are not sure, click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen, then click About This Mac, and post back with the OS X version number that you see there.

I should also mention that I tried the posted trick of changing the year to 2013 and attempting to update or download apps. Yeah... that doesn't work.

Since I've updated to 10.5 I cannot access to my iTunes library through other Mac applications like for instance iPhoto.
The application says that my itunes library is idle.
Also my screen saver used to show my albums covers yet now it doesn't show anything but n error message attestng that my library doesn't contain any album cover.
Can someone give me a clue since my library contains a cover for each song and is synchronizes with iTunes match?

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Can I access my other email through iCloud

Is there any way to access my other email accounts through iCloud?
Example: My work email is through cox mail. (it is [email protected] I never really used my mobileme email (that is now in iCloud).
For iCloud to be useful for me, I would want to access my work email through it when I am on the road. Is it possible to add other email accounts?
Of course, I can access my cox mail through their own website - but it sure would be useful to access my calendar, mail, etc all in one place (the cloud). Isnt that the point?
I have heard of people setting up - for example - a gmail account but have it actually LOOK like their work email to the receiver. If I cannot just add my other accounts to iCloud, is this a possibility?

I could park my iWeb websites of my children - with iCloud that disappeared. Kinda defeats the user-friendliness of iWeb. One click publishing through mobileme account was a great idea.

However, AppleCare isn't really needed in cases like this, as the iTunes Store is quite familiar with accounts of this nature, and it's more of their speciality. Your daughter may want to contact them next time, but it's only email support at the moment (soon to change).
