Purchased album not showing in library

I pre-ordered Coldplay Ghost Stories and has now been released - I have checked my accounts page where normally comes up to download pre-ordered items and the only item that downloaded was the digital booklet. None of the songs are in my library - on the itunes store page it shows them as purchased?

What happens when you click Store (in the Menu Bar) > Check for Available Downloads?
You can download them from the iTunes Store.
Open iTunes and go to the iTunes Store, click Purchased in the Quick Links section on the right, sign in (if prompted) then Music

Albums not showing in library after import

Just install iTunes 10.4.1.10 on Win XP (have same issue on Win 7) it auto added my music folder but its all messed up due to filenames etc so I deleted everything from library with the intention of manually importing everything. Albums are not showing in library after going File -> Add Folder to Library...
Any ideas?

Note that Pause and Resume can be found in the right-click context menu of an item (toolbar drop-down list).
Do you have the .part file or only the (final) file with a byte count of 0 bytes?
If the .part file and doesn't have the expected file size (2 GB) is missing then you won't be able to resume this download anyway. You can check the temp folder as well.

Purchased albums not showing up in the library

Two newly purchased albums will sync to my phone, but they dont show up the the library on my computer. What do i do?

Do they show in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes for downloading, and the Purchased tab in the iTunes Store app on your phone ?

Purchased albums not showing in the Albums view

I purchased an album and it is not showing up in the Albums view on the iPhone. It does, however, show up when I go to the Artists list or the Songs list. Can anyone help with this?

It looks like no one has responded, but I think I may be seeing a similar problem on my iPhone, but not in iTunes. I have three albums titled "Greatest Hits" (Journey, Pat Benatar, and ZZ Top). Any mode that doesn't have artwork associated with them, they are listed separately, but with Artwork displayed, all of the songs are listed under Journey. I'm not sure if this is the same as your problem, but it is odd how the iPhone groups songs by album name and not artist.

I bought an album, not showing in library.

for the first time, i am not showing my purchased album today, 10/30/13. at first it showed in the most recent purchase as 10/30/2013, then swithed to 10/20/2013? do i need to repurchase? only $1.00 showed in authorization. (windows 8.1)

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with the album purchased from iTunes.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted. You can use the steps in this article:

If the album does not download after following the steps in that article, I recommend trying to download the album from the list of past purchases. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase the album, you will not be charged again.

Purchased movie not showing in Library

Downloaded a movie to my Apple TV (Purchased not rental) and I can't find it in iTunes. Used the "Check for available downloads" and it says "No available downloads" and the movie is NOT in my Library - Help Please

I have purchased and downloaded songs from I Tunes store onto my laptop. They show in Puchased library but do not show in Music library
I have tried dragging them to Music library to no avail
Anybody help?

Make sure that the songs you purchased aren't in the music library for real. Close iTunes and restart the computer open it back up again and see if this works...if not tell me and give me time to think and I'll get right back with you.

HT1660 Itunes Menu - Purchased music not showing in Library

In the Itunes menu, purchased music is showing up in the Purchased file of the Music Store folder. When i open the music file in the library folder , it doesn't show up. How do i transfer purchased music to the Library folder ?

New Purchased Albums not showing up in Library

I just bought 2 new Albums from the Itunes store and they wont show up in my Library. If I search for them they are on my computer and will play but only through searching for the songs. Anything I can do to fix this?

I would check to see if they have downloaded to your computer already. If you follow the file location, you should be able to find the songs. When you find them you can drag them on top of iTunes to import again.

Purchased album not showing up at all

So I pre-ordered an EP a couple months ago (Take Me Out by Tom Milsom) and just suddenly remembered the purchase. Of course it's been out a while now. I was charged for the purchase, but I never got the album in my library. So I went back to check, and it's not in my purchase history OR my library. But when I search up the album on itunes it says "Purchased"... let me say that again: It says "purchased" in the itunes store, but doesn't show up in my purchases at all. I just want my album, okay? And it won't let me download it to the library. Any solutions?

ICloud purchased Films not showing in Library after win7 reinstall

Hi,
I have just reinstalled Windows 7 (after a horrifying experience with Windows 8) - I backed up my non iCloud based items to DVD and allowed the films to be formatted.
On installing iTunes and signing in to the Library I was able to view and download all my iTunes music purchases in the Library 'Music' pane.
Flicking through to the 'Films' pane and I'm simply told "Your film purchases in iCloud will also appear whenever you're signed in to the iTunes Store."
I'm signed in, no films are appearing. I understand I can go to my account, click on the purchased link - but is there any logical reason why my films are not appearing in the main Library view?
On a side note, it's infuriating how inconsistant and utterly clunky the iTunes interface is especially as I thought that the iCloud "just works". I get my MacBook Pro next week, will I get the same bother on that I wonder? It worked perfectly fine when transferring the collection to my iMac.

You can try signing out of the store and then back in again. That usually resolves issues with cloudy listings. (EDIT - Tested, didn't work in this scenario.) If you reimported media into an otherwise empty library then any existing movies or TV shows might have been added as "Home Movies" and the screen you are seeing could be one of those helpful hints to "new" users.
FWIW I just created a new empty library and saw presumably the same screen as you, enticing me to go the iTunes Store. I did so, went back, and all my films were listed with their cloudy links.
You can use iTunes feedback or register for a free developer account and file a bug report if needed.
As for not having the time or pateince to back up, it really doesn't take much, a little capital outlay for another drive and this backup tip make it easy and guard against the unxpected total drive failure. Updating the backup prior to a major rebuild is then a matter of moments.

The Purchased playlist is a "regular" playlist. Each time to buy something on that computer it will be added to the playlist. Looking at your main list it seems everything has been downloaded so if you want the purchased playlist to reflect your purchases make a smart playlist matching any of the rules:
Kind contains Protected
Kind contains Purchased
Then select all of the items in the list and drag them to the Purchased playlist.
See this migrate iTunes library post for suggestions on moving the library in a way that keeps playlists, play counts, ratings etc. You may want to redo the migration or at the very least start backing up the current state of your library to avoid problems next time.

Why are my purchased songs not showing up in my library?

I recently updated iTunes, but now it shows that I only have 1 song in my Library, while everything else I ever purchased isn't showing up in my Library. They show up under Purchased but not in my Library. Help please?

I purchased a track, it appears on my iphone 5s okay but isn't anywhere on my itunes. there isn't anything in Purchsed under iStore.
I had my iphone plugged in when I purchsed the track, so should have been on both iphone and itunes, much like purchasing an app.
Any ideas?
