Purchased an album on iTunes

I purchased an album on iTunes and it came out two weeks ago, but it still won't let me download it from my iPhone. Does anyone know why that is? At first I thought it hadn't come out yet, but I got the e-mail saying that it was now able to download, but it won't let me download it. It still says " purchased"

Does it show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone for downloading ? If not then does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on your computer's iTunes download the album so that you can sync it to your phone ?

If the albums do appear in the Music app, hold down on the album icons and the X to delete will pop up on the icons. Tap the X to delete the albums.
You don't see a anything in iCloud, you see your previous purchases in the purchased tab of the store that you bought the content in. So you find your music purchases in the purchased tab of the iTunes app on your iPad. Tap on Purchased and look for the albums in the Not on this iPad section - assuming that you are able to delete the albums from the device.

So it sounds like you have a preorder you would like to download, but it is not downloading, or you dont have the option to download it.
Without knowing what the preorder was, and if it is released, I found this article named iTunes Store: About Pre-orders found here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5714.

Downloading a pre-ordered item
When a pre-order item becomes available, you will receive an email letting you know your pre-order is available for download.
If you've enabled iTunes to automatically download prepurchased content, then your pre-order content may already be downloaded to your library. If not, simply click the download link provided within your email notification, and your pre-order content will begin to download. Alternatively you can use the "Check for Available Downloads" feature in iTunes on your computer by choosing Store > Check for Available Downloads to begin downloading your pre-order.
To view, cancel, or see the expected release dates for your pending pre-orders
Choose Store > View My Appie ID, then click Manage Pre-orders, which located in the Settings section at the bottom of the Account Information screen in iTunes on your computer.
From the Mange Pre-orders screen, click the Cancel button to the right of the pre-order item you would like to cancel. You'll be asked to confirm your pre-order cancellation.
If the album is released and you still cannot download it, I would report the issue directly to the iTunes Store support.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

I just purchased 3 albums from iTunes. I synched my iPod, and now there are several duplicate songs. I went through my library, deleted the duplicates, and resynched my iPod. Now the songs aren't there *at all* (on my iPod), yet they are in my library....What is going on?? Someone please help!

Does this only happen with the tracks you have downloaded from the iTunes Store? Perhaps you should work the suggestions in this Apple support document first.

First, I would suggest that you try restoring your iPod (although it sounds like it might be a problem with your iTunes or the files themselves).

You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app (or video app) on your iOS device.
