Purchased App Updates Don't Update or Show As Purchased?

My purchased Apps in early January now won't show as purchased, and their updates won't take. What is going on?

I'm having the same exact problem on my Mac as well. Its a bug and sadly Apple hasn't yet released a fix to it, but I'm also having an issue where iTunes says "Determining Gapless Playback Information". It's so annoying and I'm really hoping that Apple would read this and fix these problems.

App updates not showing & Purchase History button missing

Does anybody know if there is something up with iTunes store?, updates arent showing on any of my iDevices and nethier in iTunes it self and also in my account i can no longer acsess account purchase history?

I am experiencing the same thing. Yesterday, the apps store said I had 16 updates. Today, it says that all my apps are up to date. I am able to manually download and update (the ones I know about), but nothing shows up in the updates list.
I'm glad to hear that I am not the only one, although I don't know what the issue could be.

2014.1 App Updates Not Showing Up in Creative Cloud

Hi,
Not all the 2014.1 App updates showed up in my Creative Cloud Application: only Dreamweaver 2014.1 and Edge Animate 2014.1 showed up. I've installed the Application Update for the Creative Cloud App, restarted the app, and no success. I've quit and relaunched the app. They don't show up.

Software OS X 10.9.5 (13F34)

We would like to inform you that application except Dreamweaver, Edge Animate, and Muse would not show version as CC 2014.1 in Creative Cloud desktop app. However, if you go in the app menu then about app, you should see latest build there.
Eg.
Launch Photoshop.
Go to Photoshop menu> About Photoshop.
Check the build there.

App updates not showing on itunes since 12/12/2013

Hi all,
Since yesterday, i cannot found any app updates on the updates section. I already press the check for updates button but itunes said that all my apps are up to date. However, if i open the itunes store. Some of the apps that i own shows that they have updates. But they are not found in the updates section. So until now i have to check manually for updates for each of my apps.
For further information. I Have only one apple id which i use for purchase, and all my apps are under those apple id.
Any solution for this problem?

App update button showing

The update icon showing #apps requiring updates will not function - blank frozen screen. Called Support but they could not fix. Went to Genius Bar and was told I was 5th person with same problem - Apple system problem. They reset my iPad and it functioned properly the rest of the day. Inconvenient as setting were lost and needed to be reset. Woke up this morning with 16 app updates showing - same problem reoccurred, blank frozen screen. My son had the same proble this morning as well. Anyone hear about this from Apple?

We only know what we have read here in the forum and what we read from any websites that might be talking about this. There have been hundreds of discusssions about the problem with no resolution yet.
You can update the apps using the purchased tab and it is a bit time consuming, but not as time consuming as having to reset all settings.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this is a workaround - for the time being.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store.

App updates wont show up on phone

For some reason ever since i swapped my original 3g out for a replacement i have been having app update issues.
Prior to 2.1 i would go to update an app from my phone only to get an error saying i had to do it from my computer, now apps show up as needing updates in itunes, so before downloading i check my phone and the app store it is claiming everything is up to date. This isnt a huge hassle for me but itsnot working as it should and that bothers me, is anyone else experiencing this?

As above, since the new update and then the update with Yosemite when i go into the app section and go to updates the showing updates now only show the basic info. It does not show what the new changes have been, minor i know but i do like to know what the changes are so i can wait for a future release before updating as some of the apps are huge downloads now.

I'm having a similar issue, but cannot see anything to do with airplay in the SysPref > Sound menu. My mac is too old to run Yosemite, so looking to find another way to get this fixed. Any ideas?

App update always show install on windows phone 8.1 but works perfectly on windows phone 8

I had recently added an app update and the app was showing install in windows phone 8.1 devices. Originally the previous version of the app was available in the phone. The app update that was published was showing as a install instead of update.
Windows phone 8 devices worked well although. Can you please explain why it is behaving differently on windows phone 8.1

I saw that article. The problem is CurrentAppSimulator does not resolve in my code. So even adding the needed .xml file does not help because I cannot call

CurrentAppSimulator.ReloadSimulatorAsync(appSimulatorStorageFile);
without getting a compiler error on CurrentAppSimulator not being recognized.

App updates still showing after being done 3 times

Hi all,
after updating to Mavericks, I updated iLife and iWork to the latest version.
I did it once, and the updates went fine.
But... App Store kept showing iMovie as an update. I re-downloaded (almost 2GB) and installed.
It then asked for another update (in-between there were shutdown/restarts of the PC since they were done in different sessions).
Now I am being asked again for iMovie and Pages/Keynote/Numbers.
How am I supposed to stop this?

late model iMac. I keep geting Update Notifications for Apple Updates already installed.

App problem #2 - notifications for app updates keep showing up multiple times even after those apps are updated

i had hoped these problems will go away by itself as o/s updates come but even with 1.0.6.2390, they seem to persist so i'm raising my hand so hopefully someone can help. this will be 2nd of 2 issues.
I currently have 5 notifications telling me to update 5 apps as follows:
xtrem snowboarding to 1.5.1
air browser to 1.9.0
air hockey to 2.0.0
globe news to 2.0.4
finger magic to 1.2.0
The problem is that the only app that is not yet updated to the latest version as shown above is air browser - I currently only have 1.8.
All of the other 4 apps I'm already running the versions the notifications are telling me to update to. This has been happening ever since that o/s update where the notifications started popping up in top left corner of home screen in an exclamation mark.
If that's not weird enough, according to app world -> my world, I'm already running globe news 2.0.5!! And it's telling me to UPdate to 2.0.4!! I don't know if this specific case is an app world/notification issue or if it's related to my "app problem #1" posted separately.

I had the same problem, until the update that was released today. that problem seems to have been fixed. I also had a bug in App World if I clicked on the link to sort the App by Free or Paid, Clicking free displayed no apps when there were some and the Paid showed free and paid. That issue was resolved as well.

I have 14 updates for some of my apps, and every time I go to the update section of my App Store, it appears blank. This has been happening for a few days, thus the amount of updates. What could be wrong, and how do I fix this?

App Store>Purchased>Select "All"
Note: Look out for apps that have the word "Update"

The applications that were downloaded are licensed to this old Apple ID. Any updates that need to be processed for these apps will need to be processed using this Apple ID password. You cant attempt to reset that password for the Apple ID via the steps in the first article below. If you need assistance with this, see the second attached article. You can also delete the applications in question and download them again with your new Apple ID. However, this will cause any application data in those applications to be deleted and you may be charged if these are paid for applications.

App updates not showing

My App Store badge shows that I have updates available but when I fire up the app, the update page is totally blank. It doesn't say "all apps are up to date". It is literally blank... No words, no icons, no anything. All the other features of the App Store work correctly. I know I have updates because I checked my iPhone for updates and some of those updates are the same as on my iPad. The iPhone update works fine. The iPad shows nothing. Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Jim

Can't detect app updates

Since my laptop had Windows updates 2 days ago, iTunes will no longer detect app updates. Can I correct this?

I don't believe this is to do with the windows update as I ran that on Tuesday evening and my app updates stopped showing late on Friday evening (all UK time).
It's a widespread problem (not sure if it is affecting Apple users) and definitely affecting windows users (I have machines with 7, 8 and 8.1 and none show updates).
