Purchased Apps not on Purchased List

I purchased an app on my work computer and figured I'd just download it once I got home. However, the app I purchased is only on my work computer, and I can't sync there or else I'll lose everything (except that one app). I checked my Purchased list in iTunes, and there's only music in there. Why can't I access my purchased apps from anywhere I log into iTunes? Does that mean I can ONLY purchase apps on my iphone or at home?

Sounds like it from this article:
support.apple.com/kb/HT1977
+If you normally sync applications to your device from one computer and then connect it to iTunes on another computer, iTunes will not attempt to sync applications from that library. Applications can only be synced from one iTunes library. If you are connected your iPhone or iPod touch to an iTunes library that you don't normally sync with, you can still transfer purchased applications from the device by choosing File > Transfer Purchases in iTunes.+
But since I don't have an iPhone, you might have better luck finding tricks on that in the iPhone forums.

I've tried to transfer my music purchases from my iPod to my new computer, using the "device>transfer purchases" option but it only transfered my app purchases, not my actual purchased music.  Any ideas?

    Hi SilyKim,
You can also download your purchased items again from the iTunes Store directly into iTunes on your computer:

  • Purchased apps not appearing in history

    Hi everyone,
I am  writing you concerning a problem I have encountered with several apps on  the appstore that, despite being bought, persistently refuse to appear  on my list of purchased items. I have tried downloading them with  different devices, even those that belonged to friends of mine, and the problem remained. It was impossible to find  the apps in the purchase history.
The apps in question are the following:
    - Phantom seeds
    - Juniper's Knot
    - The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe
    - Ghost Trick : phantom detective
    - Ace Attorney : Phoenix Wright Trilogy HD
    - Pictures at an Exhibition -Free Adventure Gamebook
    - London Detective Story - English Version
The common element amongst all the above apps is that they are free  (some of them do have IAPs however). My problem is that if the apps are  ever removed from the app store, I will have lost access to the content  I have purchased.
Please feel free to try to download these apps on your idevices and you will see that they do not appear in the purchase history.
Do you know how this issue can be fixes? The developers have declined responsibility and referred me back to Apple's customer service.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
    Best,
    P

There seems to be two problems with purchased apps not appearing. Both separate. For me, all I see is spinning circle until finally the app crashes. Everything else on the store works except the purchased app page. None of the posted solutions work for this type.
Others seem to be able to fix their problems with either signing out of the store and singing back in while, for some, just a hard reboot works.
Must be a bug somewhere that Only Apple can fix.

It is part of iOS 8, and cannot be removed.  You can move the app to another page, or hide it in a folder.  You can turn off the notifications for the App in the notifications center control pane.

  • Purchased Apps not appearing in purchased section!

My iPad was recently wiped out.  As a result, I need to reload all of my apps from the app store.  When accessing the 'Purchased' section on the app store, my purchased apps do not appear.  The screen is blank.  If you randomly click on the screen, the individual app wll appear on a new screen.  However, I have a large quantity of apps to download, and I will not be able to do that for every app.  Help!

  • After restoring iPad, installing already purchased apps requires re-purchase them. How to avoid re-payment?

After restoring iPad, installing already purchased apps requires re-purchase them. How to avoid re-payment?

DDoes this happen for all apps or just some of them? Some apps always download the lite or free version. Then when you run the app there is a setting to allow you to restore your previous purchase without paying.

Thank you for your prompt reply.  I have bought 1 MacbookPor 17, 1 Macbook air, 1 MacbookPro 15 , 2 ipads, 3 iphones, and this iMac27 and 2 of iMAC24 or 20 not sure   but I do not recall ever doing what you are telling me in your reply.   When you get a extended car warranty, you don't   sign up for it.. it is just there and is included in the sale.   You don't buy this warranty to use it.. You buy it, in case something happens.   Here a perfect iMAC with minimum 100 hour useage has a dead drive.  That is not normal and I should not have to even be requesting anything since most MFG offer a 3-5 year warranty on their disc drives and I believe that is probably passed on to Apple regardless if an extended warranty is purchased or not.   Customer service dictates a more flexible approach to make sure the lifetime value of a customer is not lost due to some misunderstanding.
I was in the MacStore that I purchased the unit..and they found and pulled the invoice and confirmed
the purchase of it in front of me.  I had paid with credit card and fortunately it was there in their system.   I do not also recall recieving any box or paper although most everything I ever get remains sealed.. I am not in the habit of opening anything since I have never encountered any serious issues before.
I have used my Macbookpro warranty 1 time  and that is all throughout the years I have been investing in Apple equipment.
I just recieved a letter from the store asking me to get the paper to them so they can register it... I don't recall getting any paper actually.  But I do have several boxes sealed here..  On this iMAC27, it was a hurry up and get it done thing and I don't remember taking anything extra with it.   Regardless,  my request does not seem unreasonable.
    Thank you

  • Purchased app not compatible since changing my N8 ...

Having gone through hours attempting to re-download all my apps and settings since installing belle (a nightmare in itself) quite a few of them are no longer available to me!  One in particular that I use frequently is "River Cottage Every Day" a food app - this was a paid for app, so I am unhappy to say the least that it no longer works on my phone... Is there a solution that I am missing or a fix planned for this?

    Hi,
Welcome to the Nokia discussion boards!
We're sorry to hear that you have been having trouble with re-downloading applications on your purchased list. Here are a few solutions you can try:
Why are some apps not available for Nokia Belle?
As Nokia Belle is a major upgrade, this also affects apps compatability and certain apps are not yet compatible. We are nevertheless constantly working with our developers to upgrade apps to Nokia Belle.
Also, with such apps like "River Cottage Every Day", it may be worth you contacting the developers of that application yourself here.
If I lose paid apps after the update to Nokia Belle, will Nokia compensate for that?
First, please check if the app is available for free redownloading from Nokia Store. If not, please contact Nokia Care who will provide support for apps that have been purchased within one year.
Hope this helps you in solving your issue.
    Regards,
    haZey

  • Anyone still having purchased apps not showing up in devices?

Problem since iOS 6. Purchased apps list not showing or crashing on iOS devices.

Purchased section of the App Store does not show up, just crashes like the way apple is slowly crashing with all their mistakes over this past year.
Support has been a joke, just one mistake after another... For change can they actually fix something without breaking it or making it worse????

  • Purchased apps not longer shown as "downloaded"

I am using iTunes on the computer, not on my iPod.
Just an observation I have noticed this afternoon when browsing the App Store.
Previously I noticed that any apps that i have purchased and downloaded show a disabled "DOWNLOADED" button. Any apps that I have previously purchased and require an update will show "UPDATE" on the button.
Now it seems that all apps show the price or "FREE APP", and I do not know which items I have purchased or require an update now.
If I attempt to download or update an app, I take pot luck whether I can download it or not without the dreaded "You have already purchased this item" error message.
Has anyone else had this same experience? And if so, is there a way to fix it so I am able to see from browsing the App Store the purchases / update that I need?
    Any assistance is welcome.

I am also experiencing this lack of "DOWNLOADED" or "DOWNLOAD" tags (or "INSTALL" if on an iOS device). I agree that this should be fixed.
Relying solely on the "Purchased" listing is dissapointing.

  • Viewing "All" Purchased Apps not working

In the App Store Purchased page, my "All" list and "Not on this iPhone" lists are exaxtly identical. I'm supposed to view all the apps in the "All" list, including the ones on my phone, but the ones on my phone are not there. Does anyone know what to do? Who else has this problem?

Got it fixed!  I reset my profile backup by turning off the backup app, then I went to device info -> Reset options and did the quick erase apps & data option.
When it came to profile logon, I logged in, and it loaded the launcher.  It began to restore all my apps, which got me worried because that includes TweetMe & Tweed.  But luckily it just did a fresh install of all apps and none of my corrupt profile data.
Hopefully this helps anyone else with apps that stop functioning.  This one was interesting in that it was any apps that connect to Twitter.  So now I'm back to a fresh AT&T 1.4.5 Pre+ with all my downloads and purchases!
Thanks to all who tried to help!

If they were purchased using a different Apple ID than the one your phone is signed in to in Settings>iTunes & App Stores they won't appear until you sign into the other ID.  They also won't appear if they are no longer available in the app store.
