Purchased content won't sync back to computer from Apple TV

I purchase quite a bit of content on my Apple TV. Most of the time the tv shows sync back to the computer after download to the Apple TV without any problems. Recently though many of my shows are stranded on the Apple TV. This has also happened for the 3 movies I have purchased from the Apple TV.
Anyone have a similar problem and could suggest a solution?

Unfortunately with the stranded content i am afraid to break the connection and reestablish for fear of losing the content that is on the apple tv but not on the computer.
Would be nice to get a little insight on this from apple since it seems this question shows up many times.

HD purchases won't sync back to computer.

I just purchased a TV Show in HD from the AppleTV. The SD version downloaded to my computer. HOWEVER, the HD version won't sync to my computer. I thought this might be a glitch until I remembered that I purchased T2: Judgement Day the same way, sure enough, HD on the AppleTV, only SD on the Mac. This can't be the way it is supposed to work right? If so, then why would anyone buy HD content on the AppleTV? In order to get BOTH versions on your computer, it looks like you HAVE to purchase from the computer first?
I followed the "Report a Problem" routine, but all they allowed me to do, was to re-download the SD version, which I already have. I'm wondering if they really didn't understand what the issue was. Any thoughts?

I tried un-syncing and re-syncing my AppleTV, without luck. I contacted iTunes again, and they are letting me download the HD version of the TV Show to my computer. Ironically, I received a response about the same issue with a Movie, moments later and the response was completely different. They thought I was requesting a refund for it, which made no sense. So I'm still waiting on that one. But, alas, the moral of the story is, don't buy using your AppleTV. Frustratingly, it USED to work. Ahh.

Apps won't sync to new computer from ipad

My old computer crashed and we recently got a new one. All of my apps and movies that show in the purchased category of my itunes list will not sync with my computer. Can someone tell me how to do that?

ATV won't sync latest downloaded Video from Apple..

Hi all.
I've tried everything I can think of without luck. Ive had ATV now for several months. No issues apart from the normal ones that everyone seems to have.
My Itunes library is off the imac, stored on a Apple time capsule. Everything syncs just fine except one music video which i purchased from Apple store.
In my sync settings I have sync music videos (in fact there are several there that are synced already so I know this function works)
Any help greatly appreciated.

I also made the big mistake of downloading a free book about the making of the movie "Frankenweenie." Mega-memory eater. Now it wants to download additions and started to do so---now says paused. I can't delete the bloody thing. Seems like nothing I've downloaded, including free books, can be deleted. How can I get rid of this garbage?

Correct. it does not magially appear in other places. It will only be where you put it.

Correct as well. Iphone will sync with one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content.
You need to copy everything ( itunes library/contacts/pics/calendars/files/docs) from the old computer, or your backup copy of the old one, to the new one.

Only iTunes purchased music can hava a cloud icon and then only if the music was purchased with the account listed in Settings>iTunes and App Store on the iPod.
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created.

Some of my newly purchased music won't sync, even though I converted it to the proper format.

Music purchased from the iTunes Store does not need to be converted before being used on iPods. Music from most other sources, such as Amazon, is in MP3 format and does not need to be converted. So, can you explain "even though I converted it to the proper format"?

Place iPhone on Wall Charger for at least 10 minutes. Then keep on charger and Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, this can take about 20 seconds of holding both buttons while on charger. If still problem, open iTunes 10.7 on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, then click Restore button of iTunes. If still problem, try DFU Mode Restore, here are the steps. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons, after exactly 10 seconds release the Power Button, keep holding the Home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time. If the iPhone screen is black, blank this is DFU Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes. DFU Mode can be difficult to enter sometimes, just keep trying. DFU Mode is a black, blank screen with iTunes saying Recovery Mode. If still problem and there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation and take to Apple for resolution.

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.
