I bought CS5 extended for school a few years back. I just got a new computer and lost my installation CD a long time ago. I have my serial number, but cannot find any download that works. Is there a way I can go through Adobe to download it? Or any legitimate sources?

You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

if you have a download problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps. typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies so that's (a restrictive browser setting) another potential source of problems.

Your serial number should be available online if you purchased from Adobe or if you purchased somewhere else and registered your product with Adobe.

The ipod is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
You should copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

You are allowed to have two activted installations, so if the first machine is the only machine with an activated installation there is nothing prohibiting you from installing and activating on the new machine.
You can contact Adobe Support thru chat to have the old installation deactivation.

iPods and other iDevices are not backup or storage devices.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder (and all other desired data) from the old computer to the new computer.

I was given the option to locate the file where the song is held. If so select "locate" and direct it to the folder / file where the song is and open it. itunes then will give you the option to use this process to update all of your library. OK that as this will do it automatically instead of doing them one by one. I hope this helps.

It looks like the developer's of that app, or Apple, have got the wrong search name for it in the store - you could try contacting the developer and pointing it out to them so that they can get it corrected. Currently it looks like you can only find the app either by using the link (as you've included in your post), or by searching for the developer's name (Page Foundry Inc) in the store.
For searching the store, when you search for something then the first result(s) should be those whose title matches what you searched for - so if you search for 'ebook reader' then as there is an app with that exact name it will be first in the results, other apps will then be listed after it.

Not Stupid! I should have been more specific. I'm still new to iphones. I changed my itunes password and ID at the itunes store my computer. I'm not having problems with my email. I'm having problems downloading and updating apps (probably music as well). After it asks for the password, a message comes up saying my itunes store password is incorrect. It works on line though.
