I'm lost, my son gave me this Macbook, he is now in NZ. Please help, I am lost!
I would look first in your Downloads folder. The game may be there but may in the form of a disk image that you need to open and then install the game. Or the game may already be installed and in your Applications folder.

If you mean the ones that you've download to your library then with the new screen setup click on the button top left and select the content category that you want to view - or you can have the left-hand sidebar show as on previous iTunes via View > Show Sidebar (Option-Command-S) which might make it easier to navigate.

If neither of the above and you don't have the CD and can't find your tracks on the computer then they you're stuck. A file recovery utility will cost $100, plus another $100 for an external drive to which to resue the files, and may not even work. You can buy a lot of CDs for $200. -

Connect the iPad to a USB port and run iTunes on your computer. Select the iPad under DEVICES at the left side of the window. Then select Apps at the top of the window. Scroll down to File Sharing. If you select one of the Apps there, you can transfer files in the Documents window.

Sure, just google "old itunes versions", but I don't think that will help.
They changed things on the Apple servers around the time v7.7. was released. So even with an older iTunes version, I doubt you'll be able to purchase games with a gift card.
In case I wasn't clear, I was just trying to point out it is a recent change...I've bought games with a gift card in the past, too. -

I did a system restore on my iphone2 and used a new name for thr phone on ituhes (Allan2). Now I need to access my saved apps on the original phone name. How do I find the two phone profiles on itunes. When I open it with my phone it only shows Allan2. Thanks
If your apps were in itunes on your computer, then they should still be there. Just sync them back to the iphone.
BTW, the backup that itunes performs when syncing does NOT include music/apps/movies/tv shows etc.
Anything purchased on the iphone would have to be transferred to your computer. File>Transfer Purchases
Unlike music/vids/etc, you can redownload apps
