Purchased items not showing in Purchased View

So I have this view of an album in the iTunes store, clearly showing it was purchased.
http://i.imgur.com/50nuXQm.png
but the album is not visible in my 'Purchased' view via iTunes or any other device.
What gives?
I contacted support and a 20 minute chat session led to the representative regranting me the album. I was able to re-download it in iTunes but it's still missing from the Purchased view!

Did you download the movie on a device?

  • HT204088 Purchased items not showing up...How do I fix this??!!

I want to access my purchased music and not all of my purchased items are showing up. Only my  most recent purchases are there. How do I fix this??!!

iTunes Store and App Store items are only available in the cloud in the country storefront where they were purchased. If you've changed the country associated with your account, your old purchases won't appear on your Purchased page.
Another reason you might not see purchases in the cloud is because you may have hidden them. For information about hiding and unhiding purchases, see this article:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
Another possibility is that you have more than one iTunes Store account and that the music in question was actually purchased using another Apple ID.
Or ... the missing music has been modified in or removed from the iTunes Store since you purchased it and as a result, is no longer eligible for  subsequent download via iTunes in the Cloud.

  • Past purchases are not showing as "purchased" in the itunes store

ok the other day i bought 10 songs from the itunes store, all from different albums. 2 of the albums i have decieded to buy, and of course we all know that it is sometimes cheaper to use the "buy album" option rather than buying all the songs individually.....well when i went to "buy" these albums i get the message that i will be purchasing songs already purchased and that i will now have "duplicates" of the "previously purchased" songs. i dont want that as you all can understand....i normally get the message that the songs previously purchased will not be downloaded when i buy albums that i had previously bought songs off of.....some of the other songs that i purchased in this "batch" are showing as "purchased" in the itunes store. it is just the songs off of those 2 albums that are not showing as purchased....now i do want to point out that all the songs downloaded just fine, just some of them dont show as purchased. any idea as to why this is happening and how to fix it?

    Hello stuartfromwillenhall,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
It appears that you want to download some previous purchases from iTunes.  To download these items please see the directions in the article below.
    Download past purchases

  • Previously purchased songs NOT showing as purchased in the itunes store. I dont want to re-buy something I already have. How can I get this fixed?

Ive got quite a few songs. I dont want to rebuy one ive already got. Why are my songs not showing as purchased in store like they once did? How do I solve this issue?

    Hi,
Go to song view, add iCloud status. To do this, go to menu > view > view options and tick box. This will tell you what has been matched, uploaded, purchased, duplicate, ineligible or waiting. As the scan is stalling with one track remaining, find this track - it is likely to have a icloud status of waiting.
Suggest that you delete from library then select update iTunes Match. Once match completes try readding track - by the way how. Big is the track and whatever is its media type?

  • Purchased item not showing in iTunes

I purchased a song on iTunes the other day and it's not showing in my iTunes now. I've searched by title, artist, genre, I've tried looking in recently purchased items and it's not there. It shows in my purchase history and if I try to download it again I'm told I've already downloaded and would I like to "download it again?" Any ideas?

Either (1) it did not download in the first place, or (2) it did download but then got deleted, moved, or renamed. If you have done enough searching to determine that it is not number 2, then use the Contact page to report to Apple that it did not download correctly. They will arrange a replacement or refund.

  • Purchased items not showing in App Store - Problem is BACK

I post a question earlier, the problem seemed solved, but it is back agin, how frustrating !! here it is the story
I am using iPad 3rd generation, iOS6.0.1. I just recently restored it due to a few crashes and shut down.
I can get most of my app back from restoration, but I can't see any items purchased in App Store in Purchased tab. There is nothing, I tried many steps suggested in the forum, (sign out, shut off, sign back, update all info in my apple ID, etc.) but none of them seems to work.
    Later...
Problem solved... The difference is I signed back in not in Setting -> iTunes & App Store, but directly open App Store, and sign in at pop up windown. the order of sign in seems "stupid", it doesn't make sense no matter how you sign in to app store, but it does make the difference. Sigh....
    Now...
Problem is back again... I have no clue what's going on here with iTune and App Store... thing seems screw pretty bad... any one can help??
    Thanks a lot

  • Purchased items not showing up on devices

This is a problem I've not had before. When I sync iphone and ipad, some of my music purchases in my library are showing up in the music list on my phone and ipad but they are in faint type and a "O" out to the left side of the checkmark (they do not show up in my main library this way, only on the devices -- and not all of the purchases, just a few of them). I've gone back through the steps of transferring purchases, etc., but no luck. Any insights?

Additional note - I raise the issue because I cannot play the music in question from my iPad or iPhone 5.  I can only play them on my computer.

  • Previously purchased books not showing in 'Purchased' collection?

For some reason my purchased books (with the exception of those not yet downloaded to this machine), are no longer showing up in the 'Purchased' collection. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but I have begun to rely on the collection to seperate the Books bought from the iBooks store from those obtained from other sources such as Project Gutenberg.
Though I can still see the purchased books listed in iTunes when viewing my purchases through the iTunes store, I'd like to see them in the iBooks 'Purchased' collection.
The only thing I can think of that might have caused this, though it seems unlikely, is I deleted the cache recently.

It looks like at some point in history, iTunes created a new 'Purchased' playlist.
This playlist is a special one, but behaves like a normal playlist.
You can add your previous purchases to it.
Another way is to create a new Smart Playlist and set as rule:
    Kind - contains - protected
That playlist will always be up-to-date and contains all your purchases.
    Hope this helps.

  • Purchased items not showing up

I just purchased the James Franco roast from iTunes on my Apple TV. I paid $4.99 and it shows up in my purchased section but is only a 34 second clip, that was already free to begin with. It will not allow me the option to buy it again. Anyone else have this problem?

    Hello Carrie,
It sounds like there is an issue with the Comedy Central Roast of James Franco that you purchased from iTunes.  I recommend following the steps in the following article to report this to the iTunes Store:
To report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBookstore purchase, follow these steps:
Find the email receipt for your purchase.
Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.
You can find the full article here:
How to report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBookstore purchase

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities.
    Best,

  • Purchased items not showing up in library.

I downloaded an album but it wont show up in my library. It shows up in the purchased section but not in library. I was able to download it on my iPhone but after syncing and transfering purchases it still didnt show up. It is in my iTunes folder with the rest of my music but after trying to manually add to librabry it still didnt work.

The problem just fixed itself. I got irritated and quit messing with it. When I came back an hour later, it was fixed.

  • Album artwork for purchased items not showing up!

The album artwork appears in iTunes, but it doesn't show up on my 30GB iPod video! This applies to almost every protected AAC file in my iTunes library. How can I make the artwork show up on my iPod?

If they don't show in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page then check to see if you've hidden them : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases. If you've changed countries since buying them, or if they are no longer in your country's store (rights-holders occasionally remove items) then you won't be able to redownload them. If you still have them on your iPod Touch then  you should be able to copy them back from that via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases.
But any item could be removed from the store at any time, ideally you'd be keeping and maintaining a backup copy of all of your downloads/library, you are only guaranteed one download of any item

  • HT201272 Purchased items not showing in iTunes on iPad

Anyone having problems seeing their previous purchases in iOS 6?  I just tried to download some previously purchased music to my iPad (new iPad/3), and when I click on the purchased tab, it is blank.  I did not encounter any issues with adding previously purchased music and tv shows to my iPad while using iOS 5.

Since I upgraded to the last iTunes Version (10.7(21) and iOS Version (6.0(10A403) I am experiencing issues with my iPhone 4S and iTunes.
First of I discoverd / ran into the issues of the App Store after install iOS 6 on my iPhone:
When opening the App Store (App) on my iPhone, in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen and selecting the Genius function, the results try and load for about 7 seconds and finally the App Store just Crashes and I have to restart this process again, but results in the same error. This is a continuous process.
When opening the App Store (App) on my iPhone, in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen and selecting the Updates function, then selecting (Previous) Purchases; my iPhone states: ✳ Loading... and this goes on and on and... and finally after about 10 minutes I receive the message: Connetion to iTunes Store Failed. In other words my iPhone can never recall or access my previously bought Apps from the iTunes Store. The only way to access them is to Search or Find them directly in the App Store but you then need to know the name of the App you want.
    I have contacted Apple Support and together we have tried several things but nothing seemd to work for me. We also tried to access the App Store and purchases menu directly from the iTunes store running on my iMac and found that it acted in a failry simular manner, only running on my iMac after about 15 minutes I finally got results. It seems like it just needs time to access  / find / locate all my previously bought apps. The bug (to me) seemd to be the iTunes Store account and not the iPhone itself. I could test this myself because I have 2 itunes accounts at my disposal. Once I tried my second account (both on my iMac and on my iPhone, I didn't encounter any problem whatsoever. The first (major) account;
I have bought - downloaded approximately over 250 songs
I have bought - downloaded approximately over 3600 apps
The second account (US iTunes Store)
    I have bought - 10 apps
I am now wondering if Apple is having trouble accessing a large amount of information to display in iTunes store on my account or are they just having trouble with a faulty / bugy engine.
To further test my hunches; I accessed four other iTunes Accounts of friends and family both on my iMac and iPhone iTunes Stores and all four had as little as 300 Apps that had been bought in Apple's iTunes Stores. Our findings were that it didn't matter how many purchases are on your account because 2 of the tested accounts had the same issue and the other 2 accounts were working just fine.
We also tested to see if it would make a difference if we accessed the stores either from a mobile network (being 3G connection) and Wifi network connection, but this made no difference whatsoever.
I guess this means back to the drawing board.
I am wondering if other people have tested this and or are having the same or simular issues...
Would be great to get some feedback on this.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Best Reagds,
    Carl.

  • Purchase item not showing in cloud

I deleted a couple TV shows that I had purchased and trashed them.  I thought they would show up as being in the cloud but I don't see that.  Do you know why?

    I got it.
I had the original files in a different place than iTunes would have put them.  So the Cloud didn't recognize that the files were missing.  I deleted them from iTunes and then they showed as being in the Cloud.

  • Purchased items not showing up in purchased playist

iTunes recently crashed and I had to reupload by entire library, after this ordeal - none of my purchased material shows up in the purchased list. It's all in my library, but how do I get it to show up on the list?

That's caused by a permissions problem. Follow these steps > http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/trash.html#Anchor-Files-46919
