Purchased keynote app iOS is now missing

Over a year ago i had purchased keynote for ios and now it is not there on my devices at all and it is not in my app store so i can redownload it again. I am wandering has something went wrong or did i miss something or do I have repurchase it again from the app store. Pages for ios on the other hand is still there

Sadly, yes. The iPad application and Mac application are different programs. Buying Keynote for iPad does not also give you Keynote for MacOS.

I get 'error has occurred' when trying to download purchased keynote app

I had an inter updated install originally after purchasing Keynote. Now when trying to download, I just get this error message. It does this however I try to install, even via 'purchased app' list.
Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Bug in Weather for iOS 8 now missing animations.

Hi everyone,
Ever since upgrade to iOS 8.1 from 7.1.2 I've noticed that the weather app no longer shows background animations for cities outside of the USA. I have a feelings this has something to do with Apple switching from Yahoo as the weather information supplier to The Weather Channel. Comparing an iPhone running 7.1.2(Yahoo) vs 8.1(TWC), on 7.1.2 international cities such as London and Toronto, have current weather status, written under the current temperature which seems to associate the appropriate background animation (fog, rain, lighting, snow... etc); while 8.1 no such status can be found, thus leaving the background's blank without animations. This is a real letdown, as the weather app for many international user has become, well, boring. Anyone else notice this problem (bug)?
Apple, please look into why The Weather Channel isn't providing current "status" reports on international cities, as this animated feature was a great inclusion in iOS 7 and is now missing in iOS 8.

After iOS 8.1.1 released, this bug still occurs on my iPhone 6. But I found a solution: Remove every cities in weather app, and then restart weather app, add your cities back. Now, the background animations come back to your weather app.

What happens when you try to buy/download an app, do you get any error messages ?
If you are getting a 'not in this store' message then try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPhone and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select your country.
If it's a different problem ... ?

IOS updated & now missing...

so, this has been happening to my iPhones and iPad as well but after the firmware update, some songs & playlists goes missing on my devices. i've always sync & back up before hand but where does it go? i can get the songs by restore? what's the best way to get it back? i buy songs from itune japan & usa, amazon, ripped & recordings of local artists so i can't really just pop it on icloud or itunes match since i'll lose those not on itunes right? i hope someone or people can help this helpless out! thanks ^_^

If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Camera being set 'off' ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

For family members over 13, how can I require permission to purchase an app

You would have to adjust their birthdays so they become child IDs. If you want to do this, go to appleid.apple.com to manage the ID, sign in. If you are using two-step verification on the ID, select the Name, ID and Email Addresses section, then change the birth date on the bottom right. If you are using security questions instead of two-step verification, select the Password and Security Question and answer the two security question to access and change the birth date. At the present time you can't just choose any birth date, but you should be able to change it to 1/1/2001, which will have child ID status.

I also had the same issue (I downloaded IOS6 on my Ipad in Germany, when I was travelling). I could not get into the Settings/ITunes & App Store and log out of my account as the Apple ID was greyed out and nothing happened when I clicked on my user id. I then had to go into iTunes and found that my user id at bottom of the screen in ITunes, click on my user id and assume that the german words meant to log out. I then was able to log back in and English was restored in the iTunes and App store.

I just purchased the IPad 2 and now when I purchase apps from the App store it says waiting and then dissapears. I have checked for updates and all apps are undated as well as my ios 5. I have turned off the power and reset the system and still nothing.

If you didn’t erase the drive and install using you AppleID, then the OS and the purchased apps are still registered to the other AppleID. You cannot change that by logging into iCloud. Apps are forever tied to the AppleID used to purchase/download them.
You have to erase the drive and download/install the Apps using your AppleID.

How do I purchase Keynote from the app store when it only shows "update"

I bought a Macbook Pro from my office and the Keynote program was purchased by another employee. I want my own copy, however, the App Store shows "Update" rather than "Buy App" so I cannot just buy another copy. Am I missing something? Is there another way to buy Keynote other than through the App Store (other than physically going to an Apple Store?)

Your profile shows Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard, if you want to remain in 10.6 you will need to install iWorks 09, this is available from Ebay or Amazon at a very reasonable cost.
To purchase the latest version of Keynote, you need Yosemite installed:
Log out of the Mac App Store (store > sign out)
Log in using your own Apple ID
If you don't have an Apple ID select create Apple ID from the login pane
Delete Keynote from the applications folder
in purchases tab of Mac App Store, purchase Keynote and click

IOS 7 App Store review dates missing

I notice since updating to IOS 7 that the dates for reviews are no longer appearing in the App Store app. They still appear in the reviews in the iTunes Store app.
Is this supposed to be gone with the update? If so, it's a step backwards... funny how I've relied on something as simple as the date of someone's review when deciding whether to purchase an app or not.

I wrote this to itunes feedback after several mails written to apple. I got several mails back but they sounded more like a computer generated feedback. There is not ios app store thread in here so only ipad users read this post...very clever i think to not let customers unite.

Harder to make out the fake reviews from honest ones, harder to see which update there is talk about etc.
With 95% of apps that are simply garbage and no 15 minute regret option like on google playstore you are making it very difficult to see through that garbage. (which i actually think is illegal in my country) i would like to know also why they are not there anymore? Also i can not choose ios 7 below in the option which ios im running..this makes me belive feedback is not a high priority in the apple money machine. And why is there no ios app store thread in apple forum? There is a mac app store forum thread.

My App store icon is missing after ios 7 update.

I updated to ios 7 and now my App Store icon is missing. There is one page that only has one icon on it, so I am not sure if other stuff is missing too. Other problems I have had:
All of my contacts disappearing and then reappearing.
My privacy settings for photos being changed
not able to add events to my calendar
When I search for something in safari, I click on a result and it will not open the link.
Any solutions?
