Purchased Lightroom 6 upgrade, shows as CC
I have the Creative Cloud for a year. I will probably not renew it again. I have the standalone version of Lightroom 5.7 on my computer which is separate from CC. I then purchased Lightroom 6 upgrade. When I installed it, I was asked for my Adobe account information which I gave and logged in.
When I start Lightroom, it shows Lightroom CC. I want Lightroom 6 standalone so it will be mine forever. How can I get this situation changed?
Did it! uninstalled Lightroom CC using the current account that is associated with CC. Then uninstalled Lightroom. Created a NEW Adobe account. Logged into it. Then reinstalled Lightroom, and it prompted me for the serial number. It works like a charm!

Lightroom 4 upgrade extracting issues
Hello,
Recently purchased Lightroom 4 upgrade (download version). Currently using Lightroom 3.6 64bit.
Downloaded successfully, but when tried to extract got this message:
A. Checked to make sure, but I am logged in as Administrator
B. Checked the write permissions for the destination folder (Desktop) and write permission is allowed.
C. I have >30GB available on my SSD HD. I can't imagine it needs more space.
Thoughts? What should i try next.

Looked at the Temp folder and all folders appear to have write permissions enabled.
Also only using MSE which I turned off and double checked to make sure Adaware wasn't running in the backround. No help. Still the same extracting issue.
I am not sure about the SSD. I think it is rooted properly? Picture attached. -
I purchased Lightroom 5 in December 2014. It was my understanding that I would get free upgrades when new versions come out. I attempted to download LR 6 and it said that the download was happening but there was no progress bar showing. I left the downloading screen open for 3 hours but nothing happened.

You can purchase Lightroom 6 as a part of the creative cloud photography package, part of creative cloud, as a stand alone product or as a product upgrade.
If you purchased lightroom 5 as a perpetual product rather than the creative cloud, you would need to purchase an upgrade to Lightroom 6. Udpates are free for stand alone versions, but upgrades need to be purchased.
If you need to purchase an upgrade to a perpetual license that you downloaded or purchased at a store, see this link: Products . Scroll down to lightroom and click "buy". Click on the selectable text by " I want to: "and select "upgrade".
If you are trying to install Lightroom CC 2016 as a part of a creative cloud subscription, you should be able to download and install Lightroom CC 2015 from the Creative Cloud site. Since Lightroom CC is a new product, it will not show as an update in the Adobe Application Manager. Instead, press the install button next to Lightroom in the Application manager. If you don't see "install" by Lightroom in the application manager, please first try signing out and back in: sign in and sign out of the Creative Cloud desktop app

My Lightroom 5 upgrade serial number not showing up on My Products page; chat support useless
I purchased a Lightroom 5 upgrade license on July 25th. I didn't receive a confirmation email but my serial number was displayed on the order summary page after purchase. I tried registering the serial number repeatedly through the My Products page but for some reason the serial number wasn't showing up, even though the registration process reported a successful result. Furthermore, Adobe products bought from the Adobe store should automatically be registered according to Adobe's web site. Apparently this must have failed. I need to reinstall Lightroom 5 but the serial number is still not showing up on the My Products page. I just spent an extremely frustrating hour with Adobe "Live" chat who did nothing but send me in circles and repeat the same canned responses over and over again.
I'm currently on hold with "phone support" but I'm not optimistic as I've been on hold for 28 minutes. The only other support option was a link to this forum, hence this post. Hopefully someone from Adobe can retrieve my serial number and contact me. Failing this my only other option will be to contact VISA and open a claim.

Thank you for contacting Adobe.OK, I was able to recover my previous system's image and thankfully it appears you can get the serial number from Help->System Info. I attempted to register the serial number again via the My Products page and while it indicated that the registration was successful, we'll see. At least I should be able to install LR5 on my new machine now.
Edit: I also just discovered that the serial number is listed under My Orders, but not under My Products. Weird. In my defence , I never thought to check My Order history because I never received a confirmation email and the order wasn't listed after purchase...even as late as mid-August (when I last checked.) Very strange but it's all good now.
Edit #2: OK now I just feel silly. I just received an email from Naveen with an actual support case AND the correct serial number. So, I stand corrected. The Live Chat process still felt incredibly long with some seemingly canned/automated responses but, in all fairness, he did get back to me. Thank goodness I washed both feet today... -
I have been using a Lightroom 5 including recent upgrades on my Mac Pro laptop for the past 1 year. This was purchased as an upgrade from Lightroom 4 for which I have a serial number. Today I purchased a new Macbook pro and loaded my Lightroom 5 however it is asking for my serial number which I have misplaced. I am unable to trace my serial number anywhere. I have even checked my adobe membership to locate my serial number but it does not seem to have any record which is strange as I have been using this software for over a year now and the previous versions since 2009. Could someone help me in my predicament.

I have got Lightroom 4 on Windows 8.1 and have purchased and installed an upgrade to LIghtroom 5.
Now, after a computer crash and restore, I have installed previous versions from CD up to LIghtroom 4. I need now to upgrade to Lightroom 5 and cannot find where / how to download the upgrade.
NOTE that I do not want to change to Lightroom Creative Cloud but need to download the Lightroom 5 upgrade in order to be able to activate it with the purchased key.

Purchased 9.99 deal. Lightroom is not showing up in creative cloud
I purchased the 9.99 deal that includes photoshop and lightroom 5. Photoshop already showed that it was updated and I installed it. Lightroom is not showing up on creative cloud. Aes8611 please see CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html for steps on how to resolve the Creative Cloud desktop application listing Photoshop Lightroom as installed.
Also please make sure you meet or exceed the system requirements for Photoshop Lightroom at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom/tech-specs.html. If you do not meet or exceed the system requirements then you will not see the application listed in the Creative Cloud desktop application. -
Why does Lightroom no longer show up in Creative cloud as one of my apps?
I originally had a Lightroom 5 license but later signed up for the Creative Cloud Photographer's bundle. This has been working fine. However, following a recent update, I decided to check out the apps and find that Lightroom is not shown as an installed app although Photoshop CC (2014) and Bridge are. I am sure that Lightroom used to show up. I am concerned that I may miss out on any upgrades to Lightroom.

Lightroom does not show up in my Adobe CC app
Originally I installed Photoshop CC, Bridge CC and Lightroom CC on a clean iMac using the Adobe CC app.
However now Lightroom does not show up in the installed apps in Adobe CC. Instead it shows it in the list of adobe programs with "Install" by it.
I think this is why its not telling me it needs upgrading from 5.3 to 5.4 hence I cant use the new Lightroom Mobile.
How can I get it to show up in the Adobe CC app ?
