Purchased Map Navigation of another country, but r...

My Nokia 521 was purchased in the USA, so I have the here maps/driving turn by turn license for the USA. I also live in Thailand so a few weeks ago I purchased license for Thailand turn by turn navigation. I unfortunately restored my phone and now can't find where to reinstall/activate my license for Thailand.
Any help or ideas?
Thank you.

Have you checked that you have the latest version of HERE Drive installed if you reset device?

iam in another country but it doesnot get a sim card becouse it says that its not valid what do i do please helpme

You need a SIM card from the carrier your phone is locked to. If you are trying to use a SIM card from a different carrier, that is why you are getting the error message. Either get a supported sim or request that your phone be unlocked by contacting that carrier.

  • How do I purchase music restricted to another country?

How do I purchase music restricted to another country?

Unless you travel to that country and have a payment method issued there so you can open up a new iTunes Store account, you can't. You can only use the iTunes Store of your own country. If the music isn't available in your country's iTunes Store, you'll have to look for other sources, either other download stores or perhaps an import CD.

  • Purchasing from itunes in another country

Less a question and more a point. It is transparently ridiculous that inter-country purchases cannot be made both in terms of a service to customers to exercise choice and the 'bad taste' that these restrictive practices leave in the mouth of consumers. This is particularly the case when one can see significantly lower prices being charged for the same items in different countries, when there is no way to access them. What therefore is the point of being able to 'change store' only to find that you can't buy anything!
This is so obviously to do with enhancing profits through controlling supply that one is forced to discard what otherwise would be innovative technology through the sheer injustice of its application. I'm binning the nano and renewing my passport - then I guess I can buy what I like! Fred

Some people, having legal residences in more than one country, can purchase from more than one country's iTunes Store. Beyond that, the restrictions (as has been covered here many, many times) are due to the content owners and the problems of licenses and copyrights being different from country to country. There's absolutely nothing Apple or any other download store can do about it. Buy import CDs (which the record companies don't like but can't stop) and you can have anything on your iPod that you want.

  • I would like to open a second iTunes account in another country, but still maintain my original Canadian account.  I have read the advice regarding signing out of the original account, and then signing in and setting up a new account.  but will I still be

I would like t open a second iTunes account for a different country, but still be able to access my original account. It was not clear inthe documentation I read on this subject if this was indeed possible - using the signing out/in, create new account procedure.

How recently did you switch?  If it's less than 60 days, then Verizon simply reinstates your previous account.  The fact that you were on the EDGE plan and mailed the devices back, and they apparently are somewhere in the system, could cause complications, and it might just work out that you just go back on the same plan and they set you up with the same devices.  I'm not sure how it will go - but since you are still being billed for the devices...

  • Purchase adobe license in another country

I want to be able to buy a licence to use adode in Nicaragua? can I buy the licence using an American credit card or what are the steps to follow.
I am also confused on why is it not for sale in certain countries.

As long as you purchase FormCentral using a payment method with billing address in a supported country you can use that membership from anywhere.  Purchasing with a Americanpayment method (billing address) and using in Nicaragua will be fine.
I'd make sure that the language selected for the site while you are setting up your account and/or purchasing is set to English/US.  After you've set up the account you can change the language of the application and use it wherever you are.
This FAQ might help in case you run into issues setting it up: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2984

  • I want to change my shipping adress to another country, but iPhoto still uses my former country even though I changed my Apple ID.

    Hi
I recently moved from Belgium to Austria. I want to order something from iPhoto, but my shipping adress doesn't change even though I changed it on my Apple ID.
I can retype the street and adress, but not the country. anyone know what to do?
    Thx

Have you set the Print Product Store in the iPhoto Preferences?
In the Preferences > Advanced panel set the Print Products Store to "Austria".

  • Google thinks I'm in another country but only when I use Firefox.

Google redirects me to google.ru and YouTube shows Russia as my location. I'm not in or near Russia, GeoIP databases I've checked show the correct country.
This only happens on Firefox and not on Chrome. I tried clearing all *.google.com cookies but no luck.
Should I worried that some malicious software has altered my copy of Firefox?
I don't see any plugins or addons that I don't recognize...

Okay, I guess this is a Google problem. Those idiots have made perplexing number of bad decisions and mistakes since Larry Page became CEO.
Now to find where I can report incorrect Google GeoIP inaccuracies.

  • Purchasing iPhone/iPad in another country

I am currently in India, although I live in the UK.
If I were to purchase an iPhone/iPod in India, will it have the same functionality of one purchased in the UK, when I am back in the UK?
i.e. if a function works in the UK and not India, if I bought an iPhone in India, would that function work when I'm back in the UK, using a UK network etc?
I don't want to purchase a product that I can't fully use once I'm back in the UK.
    Thanks

Assuming that you have an UNLOCKED iDevice, you will have GSM functionality.  The LTE functionality will depend upon the exact bands that are available in your device, and the country in which you use the device.  You should check the Apple online stores for the two countried, and compare product specifications.  Too, the warranty of an iDevice is only effective in the country in which the iDevice was purchased.

  • I had an australian appstore account, but now I want to change it to another country, but it has 23 cents in it. How can I get rid of this? Thanks

Well, the question is self-explanatory. Sorry for any english mistake, I'm not a native english speaker.

    Yurki,
The only way to clear out that remaining balance is to contact iTunes Customer Service.
Once they remove it, you can then change the country.

  • Map Navigation on N95

I purchased map navigation for the N95 and have had licence number but navigation is not shown as an option in Maps?
    Help

    Guys,
I have been suffering from all the problems you mention in this forum. However, I have just found this link which is for the Maps 3.0 downloader. Seems to have a lot more features. Lets hope it has a few less bugs. Downloaded it, but it is taking rather a long time to install. It had to delete all old map data, as it is apparently not compatible with this new version.
Will let you know how it runs, eventually !!
