Purchased Music Sync?? Please help!!
My laptop crashed and all hardware and software had to be re-installed.
The hard drive had been b acked up so I transferred iMusic to the fixed laptop.
However, it won't let me sync Purchased music with my iPod.
Please help!!
Try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings.. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions and it should connect to iTunes and give you a prompt to automatically update your library onto the fresh installation: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes 7

How do you delete songs that you purchased through iTunes but don't show up when you connect the iphone to iTunes? They don't show up in the music section when you click on "On this phone". Side Note: I have my phone setup to manually manage music. Please help.

If you want to delete a song from your iOS device on iOS 7, tap Songs, swipe the song from right to left, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

i have itunee 11 and iphone 4 and i can't sync my apps to the iphone. it just stops on "determining apps to sync".please help
it is an itouch, i buy apps from the app store, they are purchased, they show up in my app section but when i try to sync them to my itouch they do not show up in on the itouch. i have tried to atuthorize and deauthorize the computer also few times, rebooted computer and still nothing. when i restore the firmware and have everything reinstall all over again the apps music and such, all show up. however if i buy a new app and try to sync it with the itouch it does not show up despite the fact that the computer states 'installing "......" whatever app. it happens with numerous apps, there is no rhyme and reason to why certain apps just do not show up on the itouch. the authorize/deauthorize deal does nothing to rectify the situtaion. any other ideas ?

Not true. The music and pic sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
You really should transfer everything from the old computer, or your backup copy of your computer. Since you do not have access to the old computer, then use your backup copy of the old computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then you would have to transfer itunes purchased as described earlier. Any other itunes content would be lost.
You can e-mail photo library pics to yourself, but they will not be of the original quality.
Before syncing, enter at least one unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. When you first sync, then you should get the option to merge the data. -
My Itunes is no longer allowing me to manage my music on my phone i can no longer select on my iphone to make playlists and delete music. Please help fix my problem. Iphone4s, 32gigs, IOS 7.1.2
I don't know why it stopped working but it happened a month or two ago but the option on this phone that's usually all the way to the left when you select your device but now its not and I don't know what caused it. ive already tried troubleshooting my problem but have found no help.Hello Salmomma,

My computer(A toshiba) crashed and when I bought a new computer(a Mac), my previous apple ID does not word and I was only able to get songs that I bought in 2004. I am unable to authorize my account to get to songs that I purchased recently. Please help.

While this won't help if you are having password problems, I did want to point out that you do not need to access old machines to de-authorize them. Once you are signed in at the iTunes store, access "my account" by clicking on your username in the top navigation bar. Then "manage devices". You can remove any old machines that way. -

What happens when you try to do the in-app purchase, if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?

When trying to make a purchase for a movie I get a security information required field then I select continue and it brings me back to original screen to purchase movie. Please help.
It's telling you to verify your billing information (credit card, address, security code), which needs to be done in iTunes via computer.

i just uploaded the new os7 software. i like it. however my podcasts seem to be hidden and for the life of me, i can't find them. i was looking in the music icon. please help me feel less stupid:)
Got to settings/general/spotlight search and tick podcasts. Then when on the home screen if you swipe down from the middle of the screen the spotlight search window appears and you can search for podcasts

Videos NOR Music will load after SYNC, Please HELP
Hello everyone,
I have an iPad and Recently bought RIO to watch on the iPad.
After it downloaded I could not find it anywhere! So I synced to my iTunes and there it was....after the iPad was done syncing I ejected it....
And NOW the Music folder NOR the iPod apps will open.
In my setting my iPad shows that there is 0 movies and 0 songe.....but when I connect it to my iTunes....it shows all the music and videos are on my iPad!
Someone PLEASE HELP!!!!!!I just wanted to get the question out ASAP....
So here is the breakdown
My 2 year old wanted to watch something new. So i decided to use my iPad and look for a new movie. He saw the preview of RIO and wanted to watch it.
So i downloaded it and once it was finished I went to my main page and opened the videos icon. All my videos were there, but when I looked for RIO it was not there. I even went to the search page and only angrey birds same up (RIO EDITION).
So i was like DANG....walked downstairs and plugged my iPad inot my computer. I opened iTunes and proceeded to transfer purchases. So RIO transfered over to my iTunes on my PC.
Once it was complete, I clicked the eject button and "tried" to open the videos app.....Nothing happened. It went the videos black background screen for like 7 seconds then it automatically exits and returns to the home screen. I was like...WHAT??
I tried and tried again with no luck.
I walked back to my computer and tried to resync and remove all videos and music over and over and over with no luck!
So at the moment, when i try to open either the video or the ipod apps...they just sit at the background screen for about 7 seconds then shuts down and returns to the home screen.
When i go to my settings in my iPad it says there are NO songs and NO videos on my iPad.
When I plug it into my iTunes, it shows that I have 9gb of free space on my 64gb iPad....1180 songs and like 8 movies and 22 tv shows...mostly kids stuff...
So I hope that helps clarify my problem.
I have had this once before, but it fixed itself, I was at work and a few hours later everything was working!
But NOT this time, its just not wanting to play at all

I use a iPhone 5s its a 32GB, i cant sync my music on the device from a windows computer. its shows on the below Spare bar but doesn't show in the device.
I have tried lots of things please help.Hi if your music is in the iCloud you can just sync over wifi i don't, use my pc since ios 7 you can do almost everthing over Wifi I have not used, pc for over a year. Cheers Brian

I had my vaio serviced and now I have had to download itunes again. After having done so, I no longer am able to see my old playlists on itunes though they are there on my phone.
I would like to view my old playlists & add new music on them. I keep my phone pretty organised & now to not see the music & playlists I already have on there on itunes is irritating me.
My first time here on the Support Communities.. I hope I am able to find my way around.

Keyboard Backlight not responding at startup or after awakening.
The keyboard backlight on my MacBook Pro does not work upon startup or upon awakening. Even when I cover both of the speakers it fails to turn on. I have to press F10 and then it lights up but, it lights to the first bar. Not where I had it before it
