Purchased my student version years ago. Purchased a new PC and need to redownload. I see that I have registered the product but when I go to order history to download, it is not there. How can I find it to download?
I am in need of working on a project from school and am unable to because I can't redownload. Please help

When I have visited travel websites I can not 'click' on the Calendar. I tried to buy a book and checked off to be visit as a guest - and the website did not recognize the button I had checked off. I saved some images to my home file,and they are not there.How can I find them?

Do you still see these images in the Downloads Manager (Show All Downloads)?
If they still show there then you can right-click such an image and use "Open Containing Folder" to go to that folder.
If the file is no longer there then it has been (re)moved.
If you know the name of the files then you can try a search and possibly also look in the temp folder. -
I got a new iphone 4 3 days ago. YAY! Got it all set up, downloaded some apps etc, and it kept crashing.
I took it back into the store and they replaced it. Today however, I tried to download some apps, and it keeps prompting me to log into my apple id. When I do, I enter my password etc... then I get to the part for payment, and using the same credit card I used for the first phone i input the exact info that worked for the first phone. It keeps telling me "SECURITY CODE IS INVALID" but I KNOW I am entering this number correctly.
Are you only allowed to use a credit card once? Has my second phone crashed? What gives?

Did this back along to mine. Plug it into itunes on your pc (or Mac) and click on the ipod icon on the left hand side. When the device options come up on the main screen, click on restore. Follow the steps and it should restore to factory settings. If you had icloud activated on the ipod all previous purchases should be in the cloud and ready to download onto the ipod afte rit has been restored to factory settings, otherwise you'll have to download them all again. Hope it helped.

I am sorry to hear about your lost notes...I understand how you might feel... I did recover mine yesterday..I did two step confirmation password on Gmail then created a "special" password under the mail settings on Gmail that I typed on the iphone Gmail slot for the password and my account was cleared and with that came the notes...however i did check the notes on gmail website earlier than doing this steps and none were there..not a clue why they show up after the new password was set in... mysteries unsolved... Thank you for your reply.

How can I find Lion to download it to my Mac Book? It has Snow Leopard and 4GB RAM but it the white plastic model and is not compatible with Mountain Lion. I have been told by the Genius Bar that it will handle Lion.
That underpowered model is better left on 10.6.8 for performance reasons, also the fact that it's dated and 10.7 will likely require you to buy alll new software to replace the PPC based software your currently using.
If you insist, then call Apple via phone and they will sell you 10.7 Lion and provide a link to download it.
My 2¢ is to save up for a new machine, as that one is about to kick the bucket, they only last about 4.5 years or so depending upon use/enviroment.
If your having problems with 10.6.8, perhaps some of the links here can assist, 10.6 is faster than 10.7 in fresh install tests.

Ask them. Unless they are a bunch of fibbers, you can easily find out.
Also, note that many things about iTunes work better when there is one account per person. Consider going that way. -

Is there any way to create a time machine backup to an external hard drive with content already on it? I have a hard drive that i have used for pictures but when i try to run a backup it says i need to start from a blank drive. Can i get around it?
It would be much better if you had separate drives for the pictures and Time Machine backups.....but, if you want to use the same drive for both purposes, temporarily move the folder with the pictures to another location for safe storage.
Run the Time Machine backup on the hard drive and verify that everything is working correctly. Time Machine will format the disk for you in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as part of the backup process.
Then move the folder with the pictures back to the hard drive with the Time Machine backups.
When you have tested to make sure that everything is working again, then and only then should you delete the folder with pictures from the temporary storage area.
Again....it would be much better to keep Time Machine backups on a drive just for that purpose, and other data on another drive for that purpose. This is clearly one of those times when the fact that you can do something does not mean to imply that you should do it. -
the conection on my ipod has 3 bars and i am able to connect safari and seach on google but when i try youtube it says "cannot connect to youtube" every time, how can i fix this?
try to exit out of the youtube app with the multitasking feature. if this doesnt work then try to do a manual restart by holding down the home and power/sleep button all the way past the "slide to unlock" screen until the ipod will power off and the apple symbol will appear when the ipod tuens back on
