Purchased new copmputer and having no luck

Just got a new Mac Mini to replace an older laptop. What I can't figure out how to do it move my apps in iTunes from the old computer to the new.
I don't want to do the file/library/back up because I have all my music and movies on an external hard drive. I want all the apps to transfer, is all.
Does anyone know how I can do this?

you could set up _*Home Sharing*_ and transfer the apps via your network.
however, if you copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music (or media) folder) from the laptop to the Mini, plug the external into the Mini, then launch iTunes on the Mini, you will be taken to the exact same library you were used to on the laptop. you will probably have to authorize iTunes on the Mini for your iTunes store account, though.

Open Print & Scan preferences. Select the printer in the sidebar list and click on the Delete [-] button. CTRL- or RIGHT-click in the sidebar area and select Reset Print System from the context menu. Re-Add the printer by clicking on the Add [+] button, select your printer from the little browser that opens, select the proper driver if it isn't set automatically, then click on the Add button. See if it now works.
Oh, be sure you install the new driver you downloaded.
BTW, you don't have a PowerMac as shown in your profile. PowerMacs were tower machines that ran PPC processors, not Intel processors. You really should correct that information in your profile.

The simplest way, is to erase the drive and reinstall the OS X.

Other than that, you will have to trash all your User files, delete all the photos from within iPhoto and then empty the trash.

All other non music file transfers (WORD, EXCEL, etc) from the old hard drive to the new computer were successful. Is this a file type issue? Any thoughts?? THANKS!

Sorry, that didn't work. I get no drop down menu from the Hot Sync Manager for the Serial Port. What comes up often is: "The selected port, COM1, is not available at this time. Hot Sync Manager will open the port when it becomes available."
Could it be the Norton Antivirus Firewall that is preventing the Hot Sync Manager to open the Serial Port? Just a thought. Thanks for your help.

How do I purchase/download/transfer old songs to new computer and then purchase new songs and view/edit items from library?

I have a nano ipod, I no longer have the email I used to purchase and download all songs I want to purchase new songs from a new laptop with a gmail address, how can I do this? I am not sure what to do when it asks me if I want transfer and erase? I do not want to lose any itunes library of songs already purchased on old computer and old email address.

You can transfer the older purchases from your Nano to your new PC by choosing File -> Transfer purchases with the nano plugged in and appearing in iTunes. You'll need to authorize your account with the older Apple ID and credentials.

Your media is only where YOU put it. Installing iTunes and signing into your account has never made media magically appear on a computer.
Copy the media from the old computer to the new computer.
For instructions, type "move itunes library" into the search bar at the top or your favorite search engine.

New IPod and having trouble

I just bought a new IPod and Windows will not reconize it and I am having trouble installing the software that came with it.
Windows brings up a warning screen about the software is not digitally something or another.
I tried the newest updater and it also can not install and I get the same warning screen.
Anti-virus is turn off also!
My IPod is a fifth generation 30GB.
My windows is xp home with service 2 on it.
Any ideas that can resolve this?

We have just purchased Apple TV and can't connect to Home Sharing. We have wifi, the iPad is updated. I can't find the link on ITunes on the iPad that the tv is telling me to click. I've also tried turning it on via settings then music which seems to be connected. I can view YouTube clicks on the tv, but not an app so I can watch the footy. What am I doing wrong.

Make sure your Apple TV is on the same network as your iPad. The SSID and password of router must be set in your Apple TV.

I created a different Apple ID for my Icloud on my new IPhone (said a free email was available or something similar) rather than the other choice offered of using my same existing Apple ID. Now I keep having issues accessing my account and my password isn't working to access Icloud to download Itunes. Can I undo this new account I created and just use my one existing Apple ID? This is my first IPhone and confused with this part of the setup! Thanks.

If you know the answers to your security questions, you should be able to change your password without using email authentication (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HE36). If you don't, you may be out of luck.

Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your ipod got wiped during the first sync.

As mentioned by vazandrew, music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

New user and having a hard time with searches

Our company got SB1 several months ago and I've only been using it recently. I also don't think we are using it correctly. We have been assigning some customers as "showroom customer" when we think they are only buying once, or making small purchases, but if they come back days or months later with a question about their purchase or to purchase more, and they don't have their invoice, we can't find them. One sales person was putting their name in the remarks at bottom left, but you can't search that. Another was putting their name in the PO slot, but to search the name has to be exact or it isn't found. We decided yesterday that we need to enter every customer in as a business partner, is that correct, or is there some other area in the invoice where we can put their name and be able to search for it?
Also, when a customer comes in and looks at different products I make a Quote form and list the things they looked at with arbatray quanities, putting them in as "showroom customer" and their name in the lower notes area. I usually do this after they leave, unless it's an actual quote, and I do it for my own records to try to keep track of them, but with out a search ability for the customer it is useless.
I know we must be doing this all wrong.

Hi, Gordon: I would guess we have a few hundred at the most. I have only entered about 20. Most of the entries are retail stores we sell wholesale to, and contractors we sell at contractor prices, but we also have a retail trade of customers and that is going to increase a lot when we open our new show room in a few months.
My main concern is design and sales to the contractors and public, but I frequently get calls from stores asking about our inventory stock, shipments, etc. I'm new to this so I am just learning.
