Send a project or trailer to iTunes
If you’re not in projects view, tap the My Projects button in the upper-left corner above the viewer.
Scroll to center the project or trailer you want to share.
Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen, then tap iTunes; tap OK when iMovie indicates that export is complete.
Connect your device to your computer, then open iTunes on your computer.After a moment, your device appears in iTunes, below Devices on the left.
Select the device, then click Apps at the top of the iTunes window.
Select iMovie in the Apps list below File Sharing (you may need to scroll to see it).
In the iMovie Documents pane, select the file you just shared, then click the “Save to” button; save the file to your computer in a place where you can find it easily.You can also save the file by dragging it to the desired location on your computer.
Disconnect the device from your computer.

I tried to update my iPod but it stated "The iPod could not be synced because his computer is no longer authorized for purchcased items that are on this iPod. To authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store, choose Store > Authorize This Computer"

I have several recent purchases which have downloaded to my PC. I cannot transfer these to my Ipod classic. It has the latest software checked today. My PC is a 64bit Windows 7 using i7 CPU with 16gb DDR3 and NVidia GTX690 card. Can anyone remind me what I have overlooked in my old age please?

If the music app and the videos app are both quitting on you, try this.
Quit all apps completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

My mistake, it was nothing to do with format. It woldn't sync because my movies were HD. HD movies won't sync to an iopd classic 160 GB but when you purchase a HD movie, itunes gives you a SD vervsion of the movie which is compatible with the ipod. Just needed to go to store, click movies, click purchased and untick the HD box and there you have the SD versions. Download the SD versions and then sync your ipod and bobs you uncle, movies are on the ipod

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Unsync or delete all music and resync

Because you can only synce with one iTunes library and you are switching libries by using the new computer. To nake this yyour syncing computer:
- Move all the media(apps, music, synced video and photos etc) to the new computer.
- Connect the iPofd yo the computer and bake a backup fo the iPod by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup.
Note that the backup that iTunes makes doe not include media.

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your phone. Only if you back up manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your device without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPhone for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

I would be concerned too if I was not able to play my music in iTunes. It sounds like the music files may be in a location that iTunes is not expecting. I recommend reviewing the following articles to locate you music files on your computer:

Open itunes, connect ipod, select what you want to sync ( in the music tab) sync.
