Purchased new Technicolor TC8715D gateway and now can't get internet signal

The new combo modem/router came from Time Warner. The customer service rep who helped me set up put it in "bridge mode" (apparently usually reserved for people connecting an external router) and it wouldn't allow my other wifi devices to connect - smart TV, smartphone, streaming media players, etc. However the Microcell worked great! Once the agent took it out of bridge mode, everything but the Microcell worked. I've tried resetting both devices, talked w att customer service... nada. The blinking green internet light indicator persists (GPS/ethernet/power all solid green.) I'm reading stuff about making sure the proper ports are open, setting a secure static port for the Microcell, etc. I went to my IP webpage and started to look around but found it very confusing. Does anyone have a link to a simple troubleshoot?

Unfortunately there's rarely an easy fix for router issues. In bridge mode, the router/modem was just passing data thru without any filtering, etc. and all of the "router configurations" that are required for the MicroCell to work were met. Once you  took the router out of bridge mode, certain defaults were set in place which prohibits the MicroCell from establishing a secure, 24x7 VPN to the AT&T Mobility Servers.
What you need to do is insure that all of the router requirements that are listed in the setup instructions (and in my Tech Guide, link in my sig) are met. This is up to you to figure out or get help with from your provider. AT&T and us can't help you with individual router settings because there are just too many routers, firmware versions, and LANs out there for us to keep current on. Besides, no one wants to be responsible for messing with your LAN. And, there are just some routers that don't play nice with the MicroCell because they are configured to work specifically with a provider based on their needs and not necessarily the MicroCell.

    Is he getting your SMS messages (green) or your iMessages (blue). If SMS message, go to Settings>Messages and turn off Text Forwarding. If blue, are you sharing an Apple ID? You should each have your own.

    Try this repair, ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:
    1  delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote, use Appcleaner from Mac Update to           do this, its freeware
    2  restart the Mac;   Apple menu > restart
    3  immediately after the start chime,  press the shift key until you see the Apple symbol.
             let it fully boot up,  it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive
    4  when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive  then First Aid tab and           click  repair disc permissions
    5  when complete, restart the Mac normally
    6  install Keynote from the Mac App Store

Everytime I sign in iTunes doesn't recognize my password and so I have to get a new one even though I've answered the useless security questions. Has anyone solved this problem before?

    Funny how this seems to be one of the most-asked questions on the Internet. In most cases, no answer is ever checked as "Correct," either.  Most answers, as on this page, say to click the flag at the bottom right-hand corner of any store page.  The problem?  There's only one flag!!!  And it's the one of the country we don't want to be in!!!
    Just in case this helps someone:  what worked for me was to sign in. It then told me my id was not valid for this country, and switched me back to the US.  How I was ever able to buy something from the UK store in the first place is beyond me.
    By the way, Apple, experiences like this, and many, many other horrible ones with iTunes, is why those of us who do not live in the Apple world continue to stick to their Microsoft PCs.

    Not sure if you mean the app settings within the app, or the actual settings app. It doesn't really matter anyway .... Close the app or apps and reboot your iPad.
    Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

    You don't take the pictures off the PC you leave them there and tell iTunes that you don't want them on the iPad (by unchecking them) and then sync. That will delete the pictures from the iPad.

    They made an error with the update in only listing it as compatible with Firefox 4.0, so they will not install on Firefox 4.0.1 and subsequent Firefox security updates.     I just downloaded the updated software and now can't shut down open programs like I used to by holding downthe round button, having them appear at the bottom of the screen, holding them down for the "x" to appear and then closing them by clicking "x". I can get the program icons to appear, but don't know how to shut them off now.

    My hard drive recently crashed and I did not have a backup (I know, I know!). Anyway, new hard drive installed and some of my files were saved including some music files. However, when I try to add them to iTunes, they do not add. I have everything on my ipod but when I connect it, it says that I have already synched it with another computer. How can I get my music back in the library as it was before? And do I do this with the music and podcasts stored on my computer or can iget my music from my ipod to the library?

    Connect your iPod to your computer. when you get the message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use our iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default: Managing content manually on iPod and iPhone
    Once you are safely connected there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7.     Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync.

    I JUST purchased a song from the iTunes store and now I can't find it. I've purchased several songs before and have had no problems. I've tried everything that's been suggested in the Discussions posting, but nothing has worked. Is there any refund or credit since it's lost?     First look at your account by going to the music store and hitting your account name in the top right corner (Where you sing in and out) to see if you was charged for it
    In iTUnes at the top hit Advanced>Check for purchases if the song didn't download all the way
    In windows hit Start Button>Search and in the search field type in "m4p" and it will pull up all the songs you have bought AND are on your system. when searching DO NOT hit "Pics Music Videos" Instead hit "All Files and folders". in "More Advanced Features" check "Search Sub Folders"
    If you was charged for the song(s), have used "Checked for purchases" and nothing downloads and you search your WHOLE harddrive (Not just Muy Music Folder) and it does not pull up the songs as being on your system, you will have to email the music store at this link http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/musicstore/download/

    Registration has always been optional, so there is no point in trying. Those pages on the Adobe site are long gone. CS5 crashing is another matter, but without some crash logs and more detailed system information nobody can realyl know. This could be a mundane permissions issue on some files, could be a crash with the hardware acceleration stuff but just the same could be the activation system failing. Impossible to tell based on your limited information.
