Purchased PS Elements 12 will not download via Akamai
I just purchased Photoshop 12 upgrade, installed the Akamain NetSession but it will not download. Keeps saying it can't open the folder, choose another. I have tried old and newly created with no joy. Never had this issue before with other downloads. Running Window 7 with FireFox as a browser (current engeneering level).
Thanks. I figured it out. That info needs to be passed to the help finger talkers. And the link should be removed from the download sight. Took 1.5 hours of waiting for the helpdesk to say wait 24 to 48 hours then try again. Fortunately I tried the Alternate link and it worked like a champ.
Not a good customer service experience. Understatement.

I purchased this at a store called Harvey Norman here in Western Australia and after going through all the redemption code and serial number panels when I hit the down load button nothing happens.

My recently purchased Photoshop Elements 12 will not open.
My recently purchased Photoshop Elements 12 will not open. Clicking to open, will not reveal the usual “edit” or “organize” choice windows. Only the main “edit” working window opens. In a moment, a smaller window within will also open. It states “Photoshop Elements 12 Editor has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.”
I am running it on a Dell laptop with six gigs of RAM and a Core i5 processor.
Should I attempt to reinstall? During original installation, the only thing I was not asked was to give blood! So, if reinstalling on the same machine is the solution, will Adobe allow this?

FrankI have tried and failed. It was loaded from disc just purchased at Best buy. It loaded fine but will not start up at all. I have looked for the launch program and tried other methods but no success yet.

Elements 13 will not download, when I attempt to sign in after entering my pass word the instruction block freezes up, turns white and little square blocks turn around ? Nothing seems to work and yes it is the right password.
Is the internet working when you are entering your password? In PSE12 and PSE13, you need to be online first-time when you register/activate your product. It is made mandatory for reasons I don't know.

Mountain Lion purchased from Mac store will not download. 'Downloading' simply stays greyed out for hours. Nothing I do changes it. I am running OS 10.6.8 on a 2010 Mac Mini. What do I do now?
If you are looking at the front page of the App Store and you are seeing the "downloading" message on the right under Quick Links.
Try this... Go into the "Purchases" section in the top bar of the App Store find ML in the list you are presented with. Does it say Resume? If so click the button and it will change to Pause. You may have paused it previously and forgot.
If not then do as Csound1 suggested and simply wait for it to finish

If restarting the computer and iTunes doesn't work you can try one of these suggestions.
1. If items appear (maybe in grey or different from working songs) but don't play you can try to delete them from your library so they will no longer seem to be there to the iTunes store.
a) select the item
b) press option and delete key assuming a mac keyboard
c) yes, send them to trash
d) restart Itunes, go to store, check for available downloads, and select download all

I checked the list of installed apps like you suggested (Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Show all apps) but this problem app is not in the list. I have also swiped down on the home screen to search for it, but again it does not show.
While it has not let me download the app (and I just tried it again) it has helped me to eliminate a few things from the list of what to try, and I can definitely conclude that it has not downloaded.
I guess I need to fire up my PC and download it / sync my iPad.

I purchased 8 new songs to use for a Movie Maker project through iTunes. They will not back up to my computer iTunes folder. I am certain I am doing something wrong but can not figure it out. I have already done the FILE > DEVICES > TRANSFER PURCHASES and it didn't work. Any advice is welcome.

Got new camera for christmas 5dmark II, elements 7 will download jpegs just fine , but will not import raw files. my 40d will download both jpegs and raw with no problem ( has done so for years ). need any help I can get. thanks

When I click on the link, the page appears, but my mouse is dead. Clicking on Download and other apparent links has no effect. I'm using IE 8. Other pages/links work fine. Have you actually downloaded the ACR from the link? There is something going on with that page.
I would be interested in hearing if anyone has successfully downloaded ACR 5.6 from that page.

I am unable to download Elements 8. I get the message that "This file is not available for download." I purchased Elements 8 this morning as an upgrade from Elements 7.
Anyone else have this problem?The comments concerning Adobe "service" are certainly appropriate. As a long time user of PSE and recently purchased PSE 8 for Mac boxed (glad I did after reading the download problems) it hard for me to understand how an otherwise really great company can skimp on this one area.
To complain about the language difficulty arouses all the jerks who can't seemingly understand it has nothing to do with predjudice .. it is COMMUNICATION. As a retired military and civilian pilot it is inconceivable to me that being able to understand each other is considered so unimportant. To pay $175 for ONE year of repeating yourself, identifying ad infinitum, is ... well, ...!!
With Apple we pay about the same for THREE years and get help from NORTH AMERICANS (it's where we live -- get it, ADOBE?).
Yeah, you are right, it's a rant .. just spent 25 minutes trying to explain I want to remove PSE 6 from two machines but can't find the disk and the "Read Me" says to NOT trash but use uninstaller. Never got the guy to understand the question, he gave up and moved me up a notch to another who also never understood the question ... sheeesh!

if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com). -
ITunes 10.4.1 will not download via Software update after I click to agree to terms, nothing happens
I have OS Lion and went to Software Update to get the latest iTunes 10.4.1 (currently running 10.4 64 bit). Software Update notifies me of the update, I click install, and then I agree to new terms....and that's all that happens. Software Update remains open yet idle, nothing is being downloaded and there isn't a progress window with blue indicator for the time remaining. I've tried several times, even switched to 32 bit version of iTunes to no avail. I've never had an update do this and am wondering if anyone else is having this issue.
I've thought to download iTunes 10.4.1 fresh from Apple (ie not through Software Update) but don't want to risk screwing up the iTunes that I currently have, which at least works.

nothing will be screwed up.
but, if it makes you feel better, do this:
download the iTunes standalone installer
reboot into safe mode
run a permission repair session using disk utility
run the installer
let the Mac reboot normally -
So i bought a book in ibooks. It has been paid for and everything (the money has been taken out of my bank account). Yet when i try to download it, a cloud with an arrow comes up. It says 'when the item is finished..etc' but only thing is it has finished, it isnt downlaoding anymore. I keep pressing it and the same thing happens, when i try to re-downlaod the book, sometimes it asks me to pay for it again, other times the cloud arrow comes up and regardless the same process happens.

I bought a book through Ibooks on my ipad. Received the message "book is downloading. when download is complete book will be in library". The book never showed on my library shelf. Repeated attempts to buy and download the book leads to the same error message. I attempted a different book to buy and download and received the same message on that. Powered Ipad down and then powered back up, and tried again to download but again the same message. Went to my Mac, accessed Itunes, the book wasn't there. I tried to download the book to Itunes and received the same message. Should I try deleting the Ibooks app on my ipad and reinstalling it? Would that delete all my 350 book purchases or would they remain on Itunes where I could then transfer books back onto my IPad when the issue was resolved?
