Purchased section in iTunes for iOS

I  can't see the "purchased" section in the bottom bar of iTunes store in my iOS devices (iPad 2 and iPhone 3GS, both fitted with iOS 5.1).
I live in Italy.
How can I enable the "Purchased" section?
Thanks.

That link is for iTunes for either the Mac OS X or Windows computers not iOS devices.
On an iOS device tap the iTunes app.
Then tap Purchased from the menu at the bottom of the display.

  • HT201272 Hi, if I download all my songs from the purchased section on iTunes, will I have to repay for them all?

    Hi,
Unfortunately I have lost about £350 worth of music on my iphone 4. I would like to download the music I have purchased onto my new phone.
If I go to the Purchased section on  iTunes and hit Download all will I have to repay? Am not prepared to pay another £350 but obviously am desperate to get all my music back!! Would appreciate any advice

Are you completely sure?? Im afraid to hit the download all button as last week I tried to redownload about 6 songs and was billed again for them!
Thank you for replying so quickly
Can you also tell me if I sync to my new phone, these songs will be transferred to my new phone?

  • TS4062 My daughter's ipod touch 4th Gen cannot sync over wi-fi and cannot be seen in the devices section of itunes for windows.

My daughter's ipod touch 4th Gen cannot sync over wi-fi and cannot be seen in the devices section of itunes for windows.  I have gone through all steps of the troubleshooting guide.  All of our other ios devices are wi-fi sync-ing fine.   Can anyone help?
Not sure how long this has been a problem.  Kids are young and I manually manage most things but recently having music synced is an issue.  All software has been kept up to date.

Maybe you have multiple accounts that's why your purchase history is empty. You can try checking for possible Apple IDs that's existing for you or you can ask for assistance from support.

  • TS3297 ITunes for IOS does not display any content in the iTunes store

iTunes for IOS does not display any content in any section (other than Genius tab).
NB: I am signed in with my Apple ID & have an Internet connection.
On selecting say the "Music" tab the display briefly say's "Loading ...", but nothing displays, just a white screen.
I have tried signing out of iTunes & re-setting the iPad, but this does not fix the problem.
(The App Store is working fine!)

  • Ok I just recently bought an album on itunes, the songs arent showing up anywhere, but when i go into the purchased section on itunes it says "downloaded". Whats the problem?

Ok I just recently bought an album on itunes, the songs arent showing up anywhere, when i go into the purchased section on itunes it says "downloaded". Whats the problem?

Perform a "hard reset" on the device by pressing down and holding the home button and the sleep/wake button for up to 30secs. until you see a black screen with the Apple logo, then release.
Then test to see if it solved the problem.

  • I have been purchasing songs on itunes for a year. I just got a new computer and I synched my iphone to it. I had over 100 songs, now I have only 10. Where did my music go and how can I get it back?

I have been purchasing songs from itunes for the past year. I have over 100 songs. I recently got a new computer and I synched the iphone to it. I can't find 90% of my music. Where is it and how can I get it back? I checked itunes under purchased and it only shows 13 songs. Please help.

You can only sync with one computer. When you synced to the new computer it would have erased it and synced what was on the new computer.
You always need to have a backup, an iPhone is not a storage device.
When you get a new computer you need to transfer your library before syncing
If you don't have a backup you may be out of luck
The only thing would be if you're in the US and have access to the iCloud beta to reload purchases

  • HT204370 Purchased movies doesn't show in the purchased section of iTunes?  Why not?  If I want to watch again do I need to repurchase?  Thanks!

Hi all, I bought a copy of Leon on my iPad 2.  Now that I've watched it I've deleted it, however it doesn't show in the purchased section of iTunes?  Why not?  If I want to watch again do I need to repurchase?  Thanks!

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Redownloading of movies is only available in the US at this time, even then not all movie studios are allowing their content to be redownloaded.

  • Purchasing songs through itunes for Windows

    Hello,
I'm trying to purchase songs through Itunes for Windows...
I've recently moved, and Itunes hadn't been working for a while but I thought it was just that I needed to pay off my credit card.
I have paid off my credit card, and was attempting to buy music through Itunes.
It keeps telling me my security number isn't valid, but it's the number on the back of my credit card where they say the security number should be.
Any idea how I fix this?

I just fixed that today... so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to use for Itunes, as the credit card company JUST got my current address

  • Hard drive was erased and was wondering if I will be billed for hitting download on my purchased section of iTunes

My hard drive was erased and i lost all of my itunes.  But then when I got on there was a new section called purchased on the Itunes site that said I was able to download all the songs I had purchased...am I going to get billed again for these?

    No.
This is the newly released icloud, beta version.
You should still always have a backup copy of your computer.

  • Purchased Section of iTunes .....

In the Purchased section of my iTunes account i notice that there is a "Not on this computer" tab with the list of purchased music blank except for the sentence " All your available music has been downloaded to this computer". I wonder why everytime i visit the purchased page it always shows the list of purchases that i made, but this time it shows me the section in which i could view a download from another computer. I have had a problem with a hacker who (while i was using my account) would try to download my music onto their computer but a message was prompted and told me that "automatic downloads had to be done from THIS (meaning my computer for it to happen) computer". Another message popped up saying "my iCloud session has expired" and to type in a password. Also, everytime i log in i always see the message "verify your payment by clicking ok". Someone is trying to shop on my account and because i used up all my money they can't do it but i seem to keep getting the message because of it. This looks very shady. It seems as if the hacker is trying to download my purchases on their computer and that is why it went blank but i looked at the authorized computer and device section of "Account" and their device is not there.
    My questions are:
    1) How can i find out if the unauthorized user actually did download my stuff ( i believe they did, i just want serial numbers and iDs to prove it) and are there records of this even though they removed their device from the list of devices after they downloaded my media content?
    2) Will this prevent me from being able to redownload my songs in the future to other devices other than my ipod and can the person actually listen to it, even though i don't  see their device authorized?
    3) When i put more money on my card, will future purchases be put on hold for the purchases that the hacker was trying to make ?

It looks like at some point in history, iTunes created a new 'Purchased' playlist.
This playlist is a special one, but behaves like a normal playlist.
You can add your previous purchases to it.
Another way is to create a new Smart Playlist and set as rule:
    Kind - contains - protected
That playlist will always be up-to-date and contains all your purchases.
    Hope this helps.

  • HT204411 Why are games & music not available for purchase from AppStore & iTunes for south Africa?

I get a cannot connect to ITunes error when trying to access iTunes store.  Also I cannot doWnload certain games from AppStore.  After searching I found out that these options are not available in South Africa.  What would the reason be that certain countries don't have access to these options?

Hey ascott57. This is also disinformation. I have personally spoken to the head approver of games in the FPB in South Africa. The rating charge is only applicable for DISC-based games that are sold in stores, so that parents can identify the games for an age group and also for stores to know when not to sell a game. When a game is sold on a mobile system, it is automatically exempt from this rating system, as the selling platform has automatic parental guidance systems built-in.
There is NO reason why developers are not allowed to publish games to South Africa on the iTunes App Store or Mac App Store. This is Apple not having a section, so developers cannot even target that category, because it simply doesn't even exist.
I registered as a games developer for iOS and when I found out that if I develop games for iOS, I can't even publish it to my own country, I let my developer registration lapse on purpose in protest.

  • If I purchased music on itunes for my ipod do I have to purchase them again for my iphone?

I have purchased itunes for my ipod and I wanted to download them on my iphone. I was able to download them but it charged me again for the same ones. Can download them on iphone without being charged agiab?

    Hi,
Firstly make sure you have iOS 5.0 or above on your iPhone.
Then make sure the iPhone is using that same account that you have purchased those song with.
To do this go to Settings > Store and check the email address at the bottom of the screen.
If you have all these ok, then just open the iTunes app and select the "purchased" category at the bottom of the screen and you will be given the fully list of all your purchased music ready for you to redownload without being charged.
(when a song is selected you are given an option to "download the full album" if you have purchased it already)
    Hope this helps.
