Purchased songs form I tunes is not sycing with my computer. showing up as "track 14 " etc
bought 35 songs at the itunes store... some syc 'd with my computer...some just showed up as "track 14" or "track 15" .... etc...
not able to play or even see what it is HELP
Your responding much appreciated. Not aware that I need to make any changes re IPod settings. I frequently purchase/download music from I-Tunes and things have always run seamlessly, i.e. transferring the purchased songs into whatever playlists I want, or creating a new playlist and transferring songs from "purchased". Then the next sync between Ipod and pc picks up all the new additions. But not this time? So weird. I've changed nothing. So I don't know what I'm supposed to change (correct?) in order to get my new purchases onto the Ipod. Any further suggestions? I checked the link you gave me ... could see nothing more I could do. Cheers - Marg

I recently purchased music from I tunes; the music downloaded to my computer into file. but, i am unable to move this file to my media player or
burn to a CD. what must I do to correct this problem if it's mine? What happens when trying to sync the media to your iDevice? Or is it a different media player?

I am unable to move file out of i tune to media player list, what must i do?
Are you using a Mac (as indicated in your profile information) or Windows (as in the forum in which you posted this)?
iTunes is a media player. What other media player are you trying to use? Nothing is stopping you from moving it unless you have unusual special settings on your computer or the player you are trying to use cannot play the file format (AAC) in which all iTunes music is supplied. -
I downloaded a song from i-tunes. It plays on my computer, but won't play on my i-phone. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Or how can I re-download the song without getting charged a second time. I could not find an option to "report a problem".
I could not find an option to "report a problem".
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.) -
How do I download previously purchased albums from iTunes when the album has either disappeared from my computer or the tunes are not playable? The albums show as purchased on the iTunes store, but not available to download to my authorized device. I also have albums that appear in my library, but are not able to be added to my iPod from my computer
When you download something from the iCloud, it is a brand new licensed copy. Your iCloud account just contains a notation that you have this app. It isn't storing an actual copy of the app from your Mac.

Dear Apple community, some purchased songs from iTunes store are not shown in the album, how can I download them?
I already looked through this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
However my itunes does not display the 'library' icon. Some help would be greately appreciated!
Cheers!
AndyHello
In itunes...preferences you can change the setting to import songs instead of mp4 to mp3. Afer changing this setting, right click to the songs and than you are able to convert to mp3. ths's it -
Purchased song from i tunes wont set as ringtone
purchased song from i tunes, cant set it as a ringtone ??
Ringtones are different than songs. Ringtones are classifed with a .m4r extention, songs are .m4a. Also, ringtones can only be a maximum of 30 seconds.
You can create a ringtone from your song. Very easy on a Mac with iTunes, but a few more steps required on PC. -
I purchased songs from 2 different computers using itunes with the same apple id. I had 1 iPod I used for these but I just recently got an iPhone and I was wondering why it wasn't letting me put my purchased songs on my iPhone?
You can transfer iTunes content from an iTunes library on a single computer only.
Since these songs were purchased with the same iTunes account, you can download the song that is not in your iTunes library on the computer you will be syncing your iPhone with. Or you can download the song or songs direct on your iPhone.

i accadentally deleted my entire library (over 10,000 song) when i was trying to delete an old back up file off an external hard drive. Now when i open I Tunes and connect my ipod, a message says tht my ipod is not synced with this computer. This is the only computer this ipod has ever been synced to, so i don't know how to reconnect the two. I was able to restore all my music to the itunes library, but I lost all my playlists. I spent considerable time creating the playlists and they are stll on my ipod. Can I somehow sync in a way that my ipod can give the computer my play lists?
With your iPod connected to iTunes right->click on it's device name in the left hand pane of iTunes under devices and select Export Playlists.

purchase song on notebook, change info, iCloud syncs with iTouch with old info, i sync then 2 copies on iTouch, can't get rid of old info one. Help? thx
Also, you need to have activated the computer for use with itunes. Why that's not done when you install is a mystery.
Because you don't need an iTunes account tio use or install iTunes.
You cannot authorize the computer until you have an account because that's what you are authorizing.
Note, you can only have 5 active computers, but you can deactivate all of them.
You can have 5 computers authorized at any one time. You can only select Deauthorize all when you do hae 5 authorized and you can only do it one time per year.
Next, create/update your itunes account.
Again you cannot "activate" (which is authorize) unless you have an iTunes account. So you cannot authorize iTunes and then create an iTunes account. -

I've tried to purchase Mountain Lion but when I click 'buy' I get the message, "We could not complete your purchase. OS X Mountain Lion is not compatible with this computer." I'm using an iMac with Lion OS on it, Why is it incompatible?
Your Mac must be one of the following models:
iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
Xserve (Early 2009)
From here > Apple - Upgrade your Mac to OS X Mountain Lion. -
When attempting to install OS X Mountain Lion I get the following error message "We could not complete your purchase. OS X Mountain Lion is not compatible with this computer." Any idea what the issue might be?
