Purchased TV and Movie artwork not showing in iTunes 10.6.1 when stored on a NAS drive

Having searched through the forums here and using Google to cast a wider net.
I am still struggling to see if there is a solution to the missing artwork of TV programmes or films missing when stored on a NAS drive. All the TV programmes and movies have been purchased through the iTunes store.
The version of iTunes being used is the most recent (10.6.1).
The network drive is hardwired linked to the AirPort Extreme Base Station, this base station is also hardwire linked to the iMac. The iTunes library resides upon a DROBO FS and has done since it filled the storage capabilities of the iMac.
TV and Films purchased before the migration of the library has the artwork, it is just films and programmes purchased since the migration that don't.
Clicking "Get Album Artwork" has no effect, the same is also true for manually adding the artwork to each episode through the "Get Info" "Artwork" option. Although the "Get Info" route teases you with an apparent result only to have the artwork "vanish" when you save.
I have seen a solution that involves remapping the iTunes library to the iMac each time you want to download a TV programme or film and then remounting the NAS drive and consolidating the library again, http://www.online-tech-tips.com/mac-os-x/fix-missing-album-art-when-using-a-nas- with-itunes/
This doesn't strike me as much of a solution and doesn't address the TV programmes and films that have already been downloaded.
I am hoping someone in the community is aware of a solution or at least method that is a little more elegant than the one linked to above.

The Apple TV 1 doesn't use homesharing.
Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can sync it back afterwards, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted.

I ordered at around 12:30AM pacific and it does not show in my order history. When I look it up on the order status page, it just says "received and processing". Do I have any chance of getting it on friday?
It seems to depend on a variety of different things.
Verizon appears to be going by the process time of orders, and not the order time of orders. Your process time will be the timestamp on your confirmation email.
It also depends on which model, GB, and color you ordered. The 6+ were in high demand and low supply.
It also depends on which warehouse (order location) your order was being processed through. Verizon reps have told me that some warehouses have more of certain phones than others, and if your order went to a warehouse that doesn't have enough of that particular phone then you are SOL and will have to back for a backdated order.
There is a possibility you will get it, but if you ordered any of the 6+ models, then it is unlikely. -
I have an IPad that is displaying the Apple with the bar under it. It will not let me turn it off and it does not show up in iTunes so I can't do a Restore. Can I do a Hard Reset?

I purchased a three pack of movies from iTunes last night and would like to view them on my iPad, but they don't show up in my iTunes account. I have the latest version of both devices software is current and I looked for downloads available on the iTunes store...nothing.
Yes sorry, I can see that from your question title. Are you in the US? Ifv so movie redownloads should be available, but I believev some studios aren't onboard.
In iTunes, go to the Store home page - on the right in Quick Links is there a Purchased/Purchases section? If so check if you can download the movies from there.
If you can't see them go to expresslane.apple.com and raise a support ticket for iTunes store, asking them to enable download via iTunes.

Movie rental not showing on itunes
I downloaded a movie rental on my iPad, and when I sync it to my iTunes that is on my macbook pro, it does not show up so that I can play it via Apple TV. why is this?

If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4, iPod touch (4th generation), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.

My iPod nano and iPad are not showing on iTunes
Hi, I have an iPod nano 6g and an iPad that were working just finr a couple of days ago. Now my iTuns is not recognizing either of them ! I tried every solution possible in the Support section but nothing worked.
The thing I noticed while trying to fix this issue is that the "Apple Mobile Device Driver" in the Device Manager has a yellow triangle next to it. In this mode almost nothing happens when I plug in the iPod besides the ring tone, it does not appear neither in the iTunes nor in My computer. And nothing happens in my iPod itself as it doesn't show the "connecting" screen
When I choose "Update the driver" and I let it update automatically, it's title change from "Apple Mobile Device Driver" to "USB Mass Storage Device" and it will show a yellow mark too as soon as I oppen the iTunes. The iPod starts showing in My computer and the "connecting" screen appears in the iPod but my iTunes shows me this message:
And then automatically the "disconnecting" screen shows on my iPod.
When trying to change back to "Apple Mobile Device Driver" my windows tells that the driver is not digitally signed.
But even if I chose it it will go back to the state where my iPod will not show on my computer
The iPad however is not showing any sign of activity whatsoever, its almost like I didn't plug anything if not for the ring tone. It doesn't even show up on the Device manager !
I tried compleately removing then reinstalling iTunes several time but it didn't solve the issue. I Also tried dissabling all other programes to look for conflicts but that didn't help either :l
I tried every solution possible in the Support section but nothing worked.

IPad 2 and iPhone 4S not showing in iTunes 11.1.5

This might be a really common problem but searched before posting to avoid duplicating but just tried to put some new music on my iPhone 4S, running 7.1 and films on iPad 2 running same and nothing shows in iTunes v11.1.5. Normally this works over the wifi when they are powering up but even trying direct USB nothing shows. Tried rebooting iMac and Google searching but now totally stuck. I havent tried this for a couple of months due to moving so I dont know the last time it all actually worked as supposed to. Any thing obvious I'm missing?Hello, scohic.

Do you have your Sidebar showing? Go to the top of the screen and click on View, then click on "Show Sidebar".

Mobile purchases (iPad and iPhone) are not showing in PING
I'm not sure if this is me or the App.
Today I purchased a fair amount of media on almost every Apple device I own! Some songs on my iPhone, a few TV shows on my iPad and AppleTV as well as some movies and complete albums on my Mac Pro.
All the purchases from my Mac Pro show in my PING feed, but none of the others do. I thought this might be a sync issue, but even after coming home and synching - the only purchases that are "fed" to my "feed" are those from the Mac Pro (main library).
Obviously, they are all using the same account and such. The only "odd" thing that happened was that when I went to rent a movie on my AppleTV, it failed and said it had a problem connecting to the iTunes Store - even though I was able to watch previews. A quick sign-out/sign-in solved this and I was able to rent (but it still didn't show in PING).
Anyone else getting the lack of feed from mobile purchases?I purchased an album yesterday on my iPad before I even looked at ping and it showed up on my ping feed. I still can not see ping on my iPad. Has anyone else been able to do so?
However, it does appear to be capturing my music purchases. -
My computer's hard drive went, so i replaced it and installed windows 7, i down loaded itunes and all purchases where there to download except my audio books. Any Ideas?
The difference is that the providers of the audiobooks have not granted a license to Apple to allow redownloading. Unless and until they do, Apple cannot provide that feature.

Please provide details about your operating system and what have you done that is not working. All you have said is you have downloaded it. The it you are referring to is that Lightroom 5 downloaded through your Creative Cloud Application manager? Did you run the installation package after downloading it? If so what happen did it run to completion but did not put an icon on your desktop? Or did the install fail, if so what error message was displayed.

Music and Movie rentals not showing up in IPhone library..?
Today I rented three movie of of iTunes on my iPhone. After they were done loading I made sure they were in my movies library, which they were. But now four hours later when I want to watch one of these rentals, they simply aren't showing up in my library, nor are 847 other songs that I've downloaded. I really want to watch this movie but I can't get onto it! Thanks for any help!

Album Artwork not Showing for iTunes Backup
A friend of mine has contacted me with a question that I've ran out of ideas to try. He has an iTunes library where the media files are located on an external disk (formatted HFS+) and he is using a second external drive -- also HFS+ -- for backup (he is currently just copying the files -- I've told him about time machine, but that's a different topic). When he looks at the music files in finder, he sees the album artwork. However, the same is not true on the backup drive.
If I understand the iTunes file layout correctly. Artwork is stored in the same folder as the database files and the media files (music in this case) reference the artwork path. I'm a little confused on why that reference wouldn't work on the backup drive, but it does on the media drive (assuming they are both plugged into the computer where the database/artwork is stored).
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!The covers should show, as soons your short albums will contain more tracks. When your "Summer Sessions EP" has at least five tracks, the cover should be displayed as well, like for your "Conception" album, for there will be enough space for it.

Podcast Album Artwork not showing in iTunes Store.
Every website and application with the exception of the iTunes store shows the album artwork for our podcast. What could be causing this? The artwork is of valid format and is 600x600 which was recommended by the application and a few tutorials. However, when you search our podcast in the iTunes store, it shows the default "Podcast" artwork. I would post what the podcast details are, but I'm not sure of the rules against it.
The artwork shown in iTunes Store comes from the tag 'itunes:image' which must be in the podcast descriptor area (not attached to any specific episode/enclosure). Try testing the URL you include in that tag from a generic location such as a library or internet cafe to ensure the URL is visible to the rest of the Internet.
