Purchased web template completely displaced in desing view. How to fix it ?

Hi, I've bought html5 web site template by hoping to edit in DW CC but although It was described as "Easy Editable" when I opened in design mode layout was completely displaced. It wasn't possible to find anything and edit. but in live mode everthing seems ok. I've asked to seller this and they said it may displace in editors and you should edit in script mode. Is there any solution to edit this template in desing view ?

Most templates, even ones that are designed in DW, tend to be edited mostly in code. Due to the focus on mobility and responsive design, it is hard to look at things in design view without rendering the additional code that a server would which is the difference between live view and design view.
What I usually suggest for people who do not like to code is to hire someone to get a template into a content management system (CMS) so that end-users can edit the site content in a simple editor. This would keep the code safe and make edits as simple as possible for you.

I have just developed my first set of portal pages displaying the results of Bex queries and query views in the SAP Netweaver portal. I developed the pages using web application designer. Each web template created with W.A.D is using a query or query view. In one template I have that is using a query view I am using a variable in my Bex query. This variable is of type customer exit, is set to variable is ready for input and calls some ABAP code which returns the current fiscal week number and year. When I run the query or query view in isolation through Bex analyzer the variables gets populated correctly. In my web template I have associated my variable from my query view to a drop down list box. However when I run the Iview created from this template the query results get refreshed but my drop down list box does not, it still shows last weeks week number. How do I get the drop down list box to refresh with the latest result from my customer exit variable?

Hi ,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to filter a calendar based a look up column in SharePoint 2013.
Calendar View not support OOTB filters connection. it is disabled for calendar view, you need to change view(not calendar view) so OOTB filters works and get connected to your view.
You can achieve this using combination of jQuery and SharePoint OOB techniques.

If you bought the music with another itunes account, then you will have to authorize the computer for that account.

Cannot "Publish" a Purchased Web Template

Hi,
I am using a trial of CS3, and when i completed some demo's i
could publish without a problem, creating SWF's of the online
tutorials.
I purchased a Flash Web Template and happily modiied it in
flash so the FLA is different, but when I attempt to publish it the
task bar appears as normal , looks like its doing something, but it
doesn't. No SWF is created.
Any ideas why I can't publish my modified template?

I am not too sure about the specific errors which you are getting, But then for WAD running and execution, we can check for the IGS Server connectivity.
It can be checked with Basis Folks. Cause we also had several problems related to WAD and eventually it all turned out to be a Problem with the connectivity to the IGS Server.
igs server is the graphics server which is maintained for all the graphics related to WAD.

No web fonts working in chrome...how to fix?

Right now there is a bug in chrome where no web fonts are working...not even google ones

Firefox displays the content that Google sends to it. If they send worse content to Firefox then you will need to give Google feedback about it. I believe https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/websearch is there feedback site.

Problem with web template calling another template

Hi all,
We have a Web template which when gets executed displays result in table form.Now one of the fields in that table is Europe. My requirement is when i click on that field Europe it should execute another web template that was designed for Europe.How do i link this field to another template?

Hi Suchitra,
     You can't create link between a field and a query view. You can change your template by using the tab strip, so that each tab will give you the details of different country.
    Or else, you can use buttons to navigate from one query to the another.
Steps:-
Button -Right Click -Data Provider- specific command -select the query - ok
    You can also use hyperlink in BEx to move from workbook to the another.

Web Template not impacted after query changed and Transported

Hi. All.
                    We have modified the query and transported to production But query changes not been
impacted on Standard web teplate. But it works fine in Bex Analyzer.
                   Issue is there was a description was truncated earlier we used initially as short description.
Later we mapped to Medium description and modified the entire flow and loaded. It works fine.
                  Only in production we are not seeing correct description in web report and it works fine with Analyzer. So we need to ask the user as after executing the report he needs to change characterstic property from Standard to Medium.
But it would be bit inconvenience to users.
            So how can we solve this problem and why the query changes are not impacting on Web template.
Please provide your views on this issue.

Hi Vijay,
one reason might be if you use the option "personalization" within the web template. If users can personalize the templates changes will not be visible and have to be deleted at the time a new version of the query is provided. There are background tables for the personalization as well where you can delete all objects for this template at once if necessary.

Web Template to call another Web Template (Dashboard to Dashboard)...

I have a dashboard where I want to drilldown to a more detailed level of data.
I have setup the RRI and when executing in the initial dashboard it uses the default web template...fine. But how to get it to call another template/dashboard?
Is there a way to have multiple tables in one dashboard and the "2nd" table only gets filled when the RRI is executed?

How to sort (to display the last comment) a comment in a web template

Hi,
I need your help regarding how to display the last comment of a report in a web template, comments managed via the content module com.sap.ip.bi.rig.DocumentContent.
Summary of the customer need :
the customer wants to manage comments for a report. The customer does not want to comment each line of a report but comments in a report as a whole, we want to display the last comment (among all comments) in the web template.
What I have done so far :
I have implemented the paper "Maintaining and Printing Comment for Each Line in the Report" ( http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/a046a839-f000-2d10-67af-b53d73894a75), and I have adjusted it to my needs : now I can enter several comments for a report, I can display them via the context menu.
BW displays only one comment within a web template via Document Content moduleu201D (com.sap.ip.bi.rig.DocumentContent).
The documents are created under KM, and I can saw them (as administrator) in the KM repository, under the folder /bw_document/InfoProviderData ... OK.
What I can't get through :
I want the web template to display the last comment (not the first) but the web template stills display the first comment. We think it's a sorting issue or a display option (The web template always display the first comment created)
We tried to maintain portal and KM customizing without success (in the portal System Admin -> System Config -> KM -> CM -> UI -> Settings -> Collection Renderer Setting for example). We think we can get through by java script coding in the web template, but we don't know how to do it. Maybe we have not reach the right option in KM customizing ?
have you ideas to resolve this issue ?

We have found a work around solution, by managing IP functions in the web template... to force BW to sort the items as we want.

Copy Web template 0ADHOC to ZADHOC

Hi Guys,
I am trying to open 0adhoc template and save it as new one zadhoc from WAD. I could not able to see standard web templates like '0adhoc', '0analyzer' etc in WAD when I try to open web template.
Pls let me know how can i access these templates from WAD and is there any authorization problem which is causing this issue.
