Purchases and Music have all disappeared !!! Please help!
1. I had a hard drive failure. I had to reinstall the OS. I lost everything.
2. I reinstalled itunes and tried to sync it with my iphone.
3. The sync removed my purchased apps, music, and ringtones.
4. I'd like them back. How do I go about doing this?
Unless you have a backup of your itunes media, its gone. Purchased apps you can re-download for free, the rest is history unless you have a backup.
By design, the iphone will sync itunes content with ONE computer at a time. Any attempt to sync such content with a second computer will result in ALL itunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer. This is a design feature & cannot be overridden.
When you reinstalled your OS, your iphone saw your computer as a new computer, hence the itunes content removal from your phone. Its expected that you maintain a backup of this content, as well as all other important data on your computer.

Music app has disappeared and i have tried everything please help
My music app is completely gone and i have no idea where it has gone. i have tried restarting,resetting,and other tricks but non have worked if u have an answer for me, i would really appreciate it.
Have you done a spotlight search? Swipe down from the middle of the screen with two fingers, and type Music in the spotlight search. You should see the Music icon display in the list. See if it is in a folder (if it is the folder name will be listed next to the icon). If it is not in a folder, but displays, see if you can find it on any of your Home screens.
If you still cannot find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will reset your Home screens and the original Apple core apps will show up on the first Home Screen (including Music).

Yahoo email account and battery have issue. Please help
Battery and Yahoo's EmailI account have issue after updated iOS 8.1.1 for my iPhone 5 today. I can not add new email's account on yahoo, also can not delete mail, update mail, and the mail I deleted on yahoo's mail keep going back to inbox after I refreshed. Battery drains out petty fast than privious iOS 8.1. Please help...

"yahoo.com.au" mail no longer works on the iOS mail app on my iPhone or iPad after upgrading to 8.2.1.. All the inxox mail is missing but some of the other folders are there.
Bit the mail app still works on "yahoo.com" accounts. It is the ".au" that is causing the problem.
Deleting the mail accounts and reinstalling does not fix it.
It is killing the battery life so I had to delete the mail account -
On several occassions when I open my phone and go to add a new note or reminder as soon as I open the app the stored messages all disappear...These are important appts. and reminders, etc. I back up regularry.....Is there any way i can retrieve these?
Need to find out what is your default notes and reminders. check corresponding websites. Example - my notes default is icloud - I go to icloud.com. My default notes are yahoo - yahoo.com and so on.

During the creation of my apple account I have selected two questions and written the answers. Now to purchase gems for the game I have started the steps. It is calling those answers and I have forgotten. Please help to come out of these security questions.
The page that you posted from tells you how to reset them i.e. if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down that page should let you reset them.
If you don't have a rescue email address then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

I have the new iPhone 4s. I'm using cloud. I try to sync my playlists to my phone an it either erases them completely or keeps saying it cannot move all music files over? Please help. Also my purchased ringtones will not sync up as well.
iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

when you open the app store scroll down to the bottom it will display the apple id currently in use, change it to your normal apple id email

Not all content types are available in all countries, and unfortunately where you are you will only have apps, podcasts, iTunes U and free books - the full list of what is available where is shown on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3599 . As the terms of use of the stores state that you can only use your own country's store, you also can't get music or films from Apple from other country's stores.
Are there other music and/or film purchase download sites that you can use in the UAE ? For music you can also copy your own CDs and sync them to the iPad -
When i plug my ipod in, it shows up on desktop as a hard drive, but wont show up on itunes. All my music/videos everything has been wiped off somehow, restored it and still wont work! Please help!

Computer and ipod crashed. not all music was backed up. please help!
Ok so both my computer and ipod crashed in the same week. I was able to fix my ipod but had to wipe all the music off of it. I lost all my itunes files on the computer and not all of my music was backed up. I know that's really bad, and I should back up all of my music but I got lazy. Which again is a bad thing! Sorry! But is there anyway to re-download purchases that I made? Someone please help me.
You can change the email address of one's appleID...
I'd recommend changing moms email to yours to get a good backup on the Mac
Then switch mom's back to hers
Then change your account to the same email you used.

You can sync as many devices as you want to the same iTunes account, there is no limit. You can have the same content on each device or different content, the choice is yours. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, including separate backups. I'd suggest giving each device a unique name, to make things easier.

No you won't be refunded, it's your responsibility to keep copies of your purchases. Have you not got copies of them on backups ?
