Purchasing a subscription with Skype Credit

Hello,
I have over $100 in skype credit vouchers and do not see a way to use them for a yer long subscription or even a month long subscription. Is this not possible?

I think it is not possible to convert credits to subscription or use them to purchase one.

I'm a little confused and want to purchase a monthly subscription through Skype, but when my credit was under a dollar, it wouldn't allow me to purchase it. So, I recharged my credit. Now, when I go to sign up for a subscription, it wants to charge my credit card again. Why can't I use the credit that it just made me sign up for? Can I purchase the monthly subscription and get a refund on my $14?

Basically you can get a refund for your Skype Credit orders, but instead could you check if you can change payment method to Skype Credit as shown here: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA1781/How-can-I-pay-for-a-subscription

Purchase of online number with Skype Credit

I purchased $30, but I of Skype credit and went to purchase an online number with it, but I keep getting the same message to sign in to my account to purchase. I am signed in, it says hello to me. So the next thing I tried was to sign out of Skype completely and Quit it on the desk top, then sign in again. nope same message. I selected a special number for this and now it is expiring because I can't make skype take skype credit! What so I do, time is short. With the plan I purchased I was suppose to have live chat with skype to troubleshoot the problem, but I don't have access to that either!

because in skype manager it looks like i can only select unlimited plans...

Currently, only Unlimited Subscriptions.
That Said, if you are NOT in the U.S. you can add a normal Skype name, and give them credit so that they could purchase a Limited subscription, or if you are in the U.S. and the Skype member is a business Skype name, you could do the same.

I am in Canada, trying to get the China 800min Subscription using my current Skype Credit (CAD$14.00), but i was transfering to the Chinese website all the time when i click Buy Now..

Not all users can pay using Skype Credit. If the option isn't presented in the purchase flow it's not available to you.

Subscription for Skype Credit not showing

I subscribed to skype credit before and then after one of the patches awhile back it shows me that I have no subscription but when I go to skype options it says I have auto recharge enabled. However, it doesn't recharge automatically when it falls under the credit threshold it set up; I have to do it manually. I've tried disabling then re-enabling auto recharge but it still shows "No subscription" on my skype window. Also, my CC is up to date and works when I manually recharge it
Any advice on this?

Subscriptions and auto-recharge are different things. Auto-recharge tops up your Skype Credit balance, subscriptions are prepaid packages that renew monthly, quarterly or annually.

Can I assign subscriptions with Skype Manager?

My company wants to implement Skype for cost reducing, but there is an important issue I couldn't find the answer for: can I assign subscriptions with Skype Manager? For example, I buy a 400-minutes subscription and assign this subscription for an user?
If that is the case, can I take the subscription back from the user and give to someone else, or must I cancel it and buy a new one? And also, if an user is going to make 800 minutes in phone calls, in a land where there isn't a unlimited package, can I buy and assign him two 400 minutes subscriptions, or in fact as many subscriptions as I would like?
The best solution for me would be to have subscriptions that I can assign to users when they need it, and if in a month they are going to use less minutes, I can take that subscription and give it to another user.
Alternatively, I could have an account that many users would use, but at the same time and they would make calls at the same moment, and I don't know if Skype allows us to do this, both in computational terms as also in legal terms.
Does anyone knows the answers to my questions or could give me a suggestion?

Assigning subscriptions with S.M. is very easy but unfortunately some countries are missing on the list. For example I need to assign a subscription for one of my users registered in SM, which allow make calls to cell phones to Ukraine at lower rates. You haven't been making in-app purchases within the app, and nobody else has access to your account or iPhone and might be playing the game ? You can turn off in-app purchases on your phone via Settings > General > Restrictions. Don't know what you mean by 'why does itunes keep the available for other customers'

hi, my skype to go number had expired,by mistake,I renewed,buying only 120 minutes to call the country of my subscription,I let that expired,and bought the unlimited minutes to that same country,which is supposed to have the skype to go number...that was never reactivated by Skype,and now they are telling me I need to pay again!! ???I have record of the payment which I showed to a person on the chat,and still cannot get the number reactivated...help PLEASE!!!!!

Skype To Go is a number that you can call from a regular phone and Skype connects the call to your contact's phone using either Skype Credit or a subscription as payment method.
Here's a quick sketch that should explain how call is connected to your contact.
If you already have a subscription then once you set up Skype To Go you can use this subscription to cover calls to your friend. If your subscription covers your contact number then all you need to do is set up Skype To Go number

Combining subscription with Skype To Go

Hi,
I have a regular, monthly subscription, which I would like to transfer to a SkypeToGo one. Is it possible? I purchased 120 minutes, and only later did I find out that SkypeToGo was an option, too. It would be far more convenient to make calls from my phone (my hubby works abroad, and since we have a toddler it is difficult to make calls from my PC). Is this possible?

Problems with skype credit

Greatings,
I recently tried to buy skype credits with a credit card but it failed several times. I am sure that the amount on the card is enough for my purchase
and also the information I'm sending is correct. There must be something else.
I am from Bulgaria and my credit card is from bulgarian bank. Is there a problem with that? I heard that some skype-credit features are not supported in some countries.

Ditto. We use paysafecards to hopefully refrain from entering too much personal info.
Though with this unlimited thing that we have to do in order to buy credit is a hassle and also defeats all purpose of using the paysafecard service.
Ahwell, time to find another way to contact relatives who lives far away untill they change this bad policy.

Simultaneous subscription and Skype credit

I use Skype extensively for business calls within the U.S. and also internationally during frequent trips abroad. I don't use international calling consistently enough to justify an international subscription but an unlimited subscription for U.S. calls would make sense. Can I have an unlimited U.S. subscription that automatically revert to using Skype credit when I try to call home from overseas?

I already had a skype credit of around $25 when I subcribed for a monthly subscription plan for calls on mobile phone from skype installed on PC. I want to know whether my skype credit will be exhausted for the calls or the minutes from subscription?

Hi,
Package will be used first. When you run out of minutes then cost will be covered by Skype Credit.
Please also keep in mind that payment for subscription is taken 3 days before subscription ends.
It means that if you run out of minutes after new order was delivered (basically within these 3 days), then your call will be also paid from Skype Credit.
