I would like to purchase adobe captivate 8 for use at University of the South Pacific. I am located in Fiji. How can I purchase this product?

Could you please check the exact version of Adobe Captivate installed on your computer (Go to Help > About Adobe Captivate) ?
Please make sure that it should be updated to 8.0.1.242 .
You can also try resetting the preferences of Adobe Captivate by renaming the Captivate 8.0 folder at C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Adobe to Captivate 8.0old .
Note :- Adobe Captivate must be closed while renaming the folder.

I tracked down the problem with the download and installation, my windows 7 was missing a file and after reinstalling windows everything worked out. The first 32 bit program in their list was used. I hope this can help others.

Adobe captivate-How to use youtube

I Made a test video to publish directly to Adobe Captivate to Youtube, however it doesn't work!
I have an error message that is: " an error has occurred in the network. Check your network connection and settings of your firewall and try again".
My connection works fine. Do i identify earlier stages somewhere? Thank you for your help!!!

DNG files do not contain some metadata supplied by the camera, which can be used by the manufacturer's software. Thus, if you don't keep the original Raw photo, you will lose this information.
If your 1000% sure you're never going to use the manufacturer's software, then this isn't a problem. But who can be sure what software you will be using 10 years from now?

Before trying to answer your question, a bit of advise: don't post your email address in a public forum such as this, as you did in the message above. I am answering to the one before that, so that you may remove your address from your last message.
As to your question, the short and frank answer is "I don't know". The long answer is that I still don't see where the free Reader comes in your making some money. For backing up files, one does not need the program used to create or open them; one can just copy and paste them, without even opening them. And while one does need Reader or Acrobat to open the PDF files and then print them, in the eyes of this complete ignorant of the pertinent laws even in my own country, you would be fully justified if you charged for your time and for the use of your computer and your printer. As I understand things, many print shops (those using presses, not printers) print from PDF files provided by their clients without even needing to ask Adobe for permission to do so.
Let's hope that someone with a better knowledge of the legal aspects of this matter reads your question.

The EULA allows you to install Acrobat on one device. There are two exceptions:
If you are the only user of Acrobat on your work computer, you can also install it on your home computer, as long as you are again, the only user of Acrobat on that 2nd system
If you are the only user of Acrobat on your desktop system, you can also install it on your laptop, as long as you are again, the only user of Acrobat on that 2nd system.
In both cases, you cannot use both versions at the same time.

In the pop-up screen, have you tried licensing it and signing in? Signing in is crucial, so it knows what you paid for.

Best Way to Purchase Adobe Acrobat for our office?

We have an office of 15 computers that we would like to get the new Adobe Acrobat for. What is the best way to purchase it for 15 computers?

You could pretty easily use the "local" RADIUS built-in to the AP firmware and implement LEAP or EAP-FAST.
Both are pretty easy to set up, the AP can handle that small load without any real performance issues, and the Intel client software supports it (you'll want to make sure all the client software and drivers are the most recent, there were some issues in the past).
Both LEAP and EAP-FASt will support seamless roaming, You'd set one of the APs up for WDS and the others to point to it.
Admin (add/change/delete users) via the Web GUI is also pretty straight forward.

Is Adobe Captivate for me?

Hello,
I came across Adobe Captivate and the eLearning Suite while looking for screen capture video software. I don't know if this is going to serve my purpose and that is my question.
What I would like to do is create tutorial videos through screen capture and video recording. For instance, I might record how to install a sound card into a PC, then I might want to record my screen as I show how to check for the latest Drivers, I want to be able to talk the user through this as I go of course.
So is this software what I am looking for? Can it do all this, or would I be better off with something else?
if Anyone has rich examples of this software doing something close I would love to see them! After all, seeing is believing.

My 2cents. For the software training, Captivate is indeed for me personally the best app around, and I have been trying a lot (Camtasia, Smartbuilder, Viewletbuilder...).
Of course you have to record the video (that is not possible with Captivate) with a video-recorder. In CP5 importing the video (Adobe Media Encoder will be automatically used for converting if it is not flv) and working with it has become really great. You can spread the video over different slides, readjust the timings, resize, insert Text Captions on the slides with video, add Question slides, audio ...
Would recommend to go for the eLearning suite if budget allows it, because besides Captivate you will have some other great apps (Flash, Photoshop, Soundbooth, Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro,...) and moreover very nice roundtripping to Photoshop and Soundbooth.

I would like to purchase Adobe Photoshop CS2 or updated version. I am a teacher at a public school, and understand there may be available an educational discount. I also believe that since we have a license for our school, I should be able to download it to my home computer for school use. Please advise.

The Adobe educational license you can use like a regular purchase, the only qualifier is you have to be a student, staff or teacher at an approved institution. And you can not resell or transfer the license:

The school volume license probably has more restrictions: be installed on a school owned machine, and used only for school related projects... at least that is how ours is set up. The person in charge of that at your school should be able to tell you.

Adobe reader for PC using Sony PRS T3--Can not sign in/read books

Then I was presented with this screen. Remember I have signed up for two accounts--One sony's e reader store and one adobe account. First I use the sony reader store account as asked:

This is the view of myself and many others... from what I am reading on the forums this app sucks... is horrid... does not work.
I used the Reader Library app since I got my ebook from sony over a year ago never had real bad issures with it till now.. I look for updates and find this one only to have it hang my computer for such long periods of time... i have a quad core desktop with fairly new hardrives and lots of memory , in fact we use it to online game with heavy user apps..
I try to use this new Reader app and it has to be the worst i have tried .. i even tried a few others when i started having such problems with your app. Others run fine. but can not read my DRM books.. truly sad..
Whoever wrote this needs a new job.. never writing software again.

your original Reader Library program did that it worked and you didn't need a degree to run it.
Someone in your company does need to get this info and get a soultion or you will loose more customers.. I will not recomend this product at this time or until you get it right. I have promoted your products in the past 20+ yrs. but if this is how you treat loyalty for get us.

You would first open Photoshop CC on the old Mac and select Help menu > Sign out... Then in your Applications > Adobe Photoshop CC folder use the "Uninstall Photoshop" utility, never drag the folder to the Trash.
But you should know you are allowed two activations. If you are not going to give away the Mac, why not keep around for emergency use?

You are being asked if you have the rights to the content you are publishing. That is all.
If you are using Copywrite content it is not allowed unless you have the rights or a license to use it. For instance if you create music for the background is it your music, or someone elses? If it is someone else's, you cannot use it unless you have the right or license too do so. Your images are they open source or did you create them? Or did you rip them from the net? IF the latter you cannnot use.... Does not matter if you are using pirated, or stolen software (although frowned upon, and NOT recommned) to create your content
