Yesterday, our office purchased five Adobe Creative Cloud Student Teacher editions (we are a private university). We were in the process of purchasing two more, but we received an error saying "We're sorry, but a system error occurred. To complete your purchase, please call Adobe. Before we called Adobe, I called AMEX because I thought maybe our credit card was put on hold for making too many purchases at once. The rep at AMEX said it was not on hold and there were funds in the account. I then called Adobe, and the rep asked me to have our two employees change their password to a temporary one so the rep could log in and make the order. The rep received the same error and said it was something on their end. I asked if they could please call us back soon, but after lunch today I hadn’t heard so I called Adobe customer service. I spoke with another rep and he tried the same thing and the same error occurred. I then chatted with someone at Adobe. We’ve tried different credit cards, different browsers, clearing cookies, deleting browser history, trying to purchase it on different computers, etc. and NOTHING has worked. Both representatives assured me there wasn’t a restriction on how many Adobe Creative Cloud Student Teacher editions that we could purchase. Could someone please advise me on this issue? We have still have two employees anxiously waiting to purchase the Creative Cloud.

Some others saw your post and wondered if another possible explanation was that you were attempting to purchase multiple subscriptions all under the same Adobe ID. One of the differences with Creative Cloud subscriptions versus the way they worked previously is that you can only have one subscription associated with one Adobe ID. Based on your initial response I gathered you already purchased 5 but were having difficulties with the remaining 2. I have a few more questions
- When purchasing the seven subscriptions, were you using a separate Adobe ID for each?
- Did you have any CS5.5 subscriptions previously? Are you migrating with the same Adobe ID's?

  • I have just gone on my itunes account and found all of my music missing, I have not syncronised my ipod for 3 months and went to update tonight and cannot find any of my music that I have down loaded or purchased, help.

    I have just opened my itunes account and have lost all of my music, including music i have downloaded from disc and purchased music it appears to have happened in the last 2 months. can anyone help.     Content is permanently tied to the account that it was purchased with.
    Simply plug the iDevice into the computer and sync the content you want.

    I'm getting a similar problem with my Macbook Pro. itunes match was working fine until two days ago when i created another 'user id' for the laptop and then an itunes account for that user under their profile. Now i cant turn on itunes match on my itunes under my user account. Contacted Apple today who said to use the Express Lane and email the problem and they might be able to make an 'exception' on the account. Otherwise I'll have to wait 88 days to access a lot of my music on the macbook pro. itunes match is still working on the iphone 4S and ipad2.
    Can anyone help? The only thought was too re-stream the laptop. Ive already tried deauthorising the other user but it made no difference.

  • Purchasing help for the mac

    hi all.
    new to mac and relatively new to adobe. hoping for some guidance.
    i run a small design build firm and recently ported to the mac os while still running a couple of boot camp installs of windows and parallels with windows 7 on the laptop. I am currently using Aperture to get my images organized and have been reasonably happy with it.
    i am in need of a "poster - workflow" using something like indesign but i am sure i could also use photoshop (which I am familiar with) and illustrator (for various vector manipulations i imagine). i'll also be doing some modest print material, keynote presentations and i have a wordpress website/blog and will be updating a very old blog at some point in the future. i would also /love/ to have a way to manipulate 3D files into my print work in creative ways.
    can anyone give me the lowdown as to whether I should be buying the InDesign CS5 Suite that includes Photoshop, ID and AI (for the mac) and whether I need to look at Acrobat 3D (for Wind 7 because there is no Mac option for this)?
    I mention some tangential issues in case anyone can offer tangential advice and apologies if this is not exactly the right forum as I am just getting started on figuring out where to enter the discussion over here.

    sorry, i have been trying to work my way through the mud over here.
    so the "poster workflow" would be something along the lines of a 24 x 36 inch set of poster boards for a competition and I'd ideally like to be able to set the images, update them and then have the poster update. I had a really pleasant experience with the ID demo a number of months ago so I'm totally sold on ID.
    i also do a lot of 3D modeling and expect to include "vector-based" images in some of these presentations. since i am familiar with photoshop i am also sold on photoshop. i've been on the mac for a year and a half and editing images has been a mess quite frankly without it. so i'm hoping to solve a number of problems.
    do you by any chance have any experience with the mac?
    i mean, i guess "CS5.5" is the suite of products mentioned above is that right? do i have any deals that i can work if i purchase this (pricewise)? I don't think I can hold off until 2Q 2012 which I assume means somewhere around March?
    Anyway, the other issue is that I am organizing images in Aperture and I can't quite figure out if I get a more economical workflow by moving to something like Lightroom. It would be great to not have to always export images out of aperture to get them into the AI, ID, Photoshop workflow. But I am not sure how Lightroom works with these three, either.
    Lastly, my look at Acrobat 3D /seemed/ like it was pretty robust. It appears that I can insert a 3D model into a pdf document and let others rotate it around in real time. It also appeared that it would let me do an "exploded axonometric" in a rather easy manner. the pain for me here is if it is only available on the windows platform.
    anyway, i realize some of this is rather specialized and that some of it is rather obtuse as I try and hack my way forward.
    any advice you can offer I'd be grateful for...

    I have one free game on my iphone I cannot see in my manage purchased (The game name is Kingdom age).  I would like to buy gems using itunes card but it's not possible. I would like to transfer it onto my Ipad, but it's not possible either.
    I can see it in game center and I have also the opportunity to buy from the game itself but using a credit card, which I don't want to.
    I have downloaded this game years ago and never bought anything because of the credit card involved.
    I've learnt how to use itunes cards less than a year ago and would like to use them for buys.  Can you help me please?

  • Purchase Help: iMac 2011 vs Thunderbolt Display   Mac Mini 2011

    Hello,
    I purchased Thunderbolt display with Mac mini 2011. I experienced a lot of graphic issues with Mac mini when I connected to Thunderbolt display. I exchanged Mac mini 3 times but the same result. The Thunderbolt display is working fine with MacBook Pro 2011.
    I'm going to return both Thunderbolt display and Mac mini and interested to get iMac. Is there any differences between iMac and Thunderbolt display + Mac mini 2011? i.e., in technology, release update cycle, features etc? My main intention to buy Thunderbolt display is to use with both Mini and MacBook Pro.
    Any further help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    I don't know why you are surprised at the similar sizes of the 27-inch iMac, the 27-inch Cinema Display, and the 27-inch Thunderbolt display.  The 27-inch iMac came first, and the others are "monitor-only" products that seem to use the same LCD panel(s).
    As to a current 27-inch iMac vs. a current 27-inch Thunderbolt display,
    * The iMac serves as a standalone computer, and can also serve as a dumb monitor for an external computer that has a Thunderbolt port.  When operating as a dumb monitor, the iMac only serves as a monitor; it does not offer breakout connections to USB 2.0, Firewire 800, or Gigabit Ethernet.
    * The Thunderbolt display is a dumb monitor for an external computer that has a Thunderbolt port.  It also serves as a breakout box for USB 2.0, Firewire, 800, and Gigabit Ethernet connections (which is convenient if your main machine is a laptop; you can do all of your docking with one Thunderbolt cable + one power cable).

    Hey all. I just got a new iPad 3 for my bday (16gb black) it has the ability to do data but I have not started the data plan yet and am using it as purely wifi until I get the plan. I got this present while on vacation and I used my girlfriends computer to put music on my new iPad. I am signed into my account and can download apps and previously purchased content on my Apple ID, but I can not rent movies or buy songs from my iPad. In my itunes account, Only my cvomputer is shown as a device authorized to purchase content. The iPad is not shown. How do I get the ipad to become an authorized device so I can download songs direct to iPad? When I try to download songs now, it just keeps asking for my password, over and over, never getting anywhere.

    Bravo are the files visible?  Did you get them from the iTunes store and purchase them on your iPad?  What happens when you try and listen?

  • Lost my iphone itune purchases - help!

    So, I have just had my iphone replaced due to a hardware issue.  As advised by APple I synced my original phone before the swap over of hardware.  I synced my new phone when I got home.  Everything is back except for all my music purchases (made on my original iphone).  I cannot see any reference to these purchases on my itunes account on my laptop.  Where has it all gone - how can I get it back....  Just to rub salt int he wound I just received a receipt from itunes for music I purchased from my phone yestedray (before the swapout) and I don't know how to get the download back onto my new phone.  Please help me.... thanks z

    If you are not in the U.S. and you didn't backup your iTunes purchases, you will have to re purchase.

    I purchased Photoshop CS6 as a subscription, but when I click download under my order history, the download link opens up the Apps & Services Adobe Creative Cloud page - it won't download Photoshop and there is also no serial number provided for my subscription! What do I do? I read under the help page that you can click "Alternative Download Method" but there is no link provided for an alternative download. I have used Photoshop CS6 as a subscription before, and when I clicked download it provided a serial number and downloaded to my desktop. Please help!? Thanks!

    You can login to https://creative.adobe.com/ and download PS CS6 from there. Make sure you login with the same adobe id with which you purchased PS CS6 subscription.

  • In app purchase help?

    I had the problem where I couldn't install or download anything from the App Store, due to confirming a in app purchase when I had no money in my bank account at the time of purchase. I have resolved this issue and paid the fees for these purchases, but they haven't showed up in the app that I had purchased them on. The app it happened to was The Smurfs Village, and there was 3 purchases. Any help? I'm on the iPad 3rd gen. Thanks, Charlotte

    The developers may be able to help you get the in-game items back. iTunes store support can't do that but may provide a refund.

  • Perfect timing on new MBP purchase help?

    So I'm impatiently waiting to get a new 15" MBP. I go to college and it would help me with Pro Tools and Pro Audio projects in class. I'm going to purchase it using the student discount.
    So Apple is giving a free iPod away until the 16th this month, but what do you guys think the chances are if I wait until the very last day that Leopard would launch the 16th of Oct (or earlier) and I would qualify for a free upgrade since it was less than a month since my new purchase?
    Do you think that they would release it asap, or they time it so people with free iPods wouldn't get Leopard too? That's probably why the promo ends mid month right?? (Or maybe because the new touch iPods will release at that time).
    I know I could just sell the ipod to get Leopard but would a 12 day wait at this point make sense?? Just to see...

    Definitely that's clear Leopard needs no promo to sell it.
    Maybe I wasn't clear. I'm saying that Apple usually supplies it;s OS to previous hardware Mac buyers so long as you purchased the Mac within the last 30 days from the Leopard release, right?
    I'm just asking do you think there will be some overlap in that 30 days, and chance at all, that if they release Leopard Mid month as expected that I would fall into that 30 day grace period and get the OS for free? Lets say I waited till the last day of the iPod promo, the 16th this month, then do u think Leopard might release before the 17th of next month?
    Or from Apple's past history, no chance in ****, they figure those things out and wouldn't allow for someone to 'score' twice essentially like that.

    Unfortunately the iPhone 4 16 GB version ceased to be manufactured after the release of the 4s, which makes 16GB iPhone 4s hard to come by.  You might be able to find a new 32 GB 4 at a Best Buy near you, but finding a new 16GB iPhone 4 is going to be very difficult via best buy.  If you really want a 16 gb 4 and not a 4s, your best bet may be looking for an aftermarket (used) 16gb iPhone 4.

    hello all...try to post in iphoto forum and got no answer..hoping someone might have some ideas. i can not access apple to buy books, cards, calendars, or anything from iphoto. i'm running latest on iphoto and tiger. when i have assembled a book and hit the "buy book" icon, nothing happens. have also tried to purchase a photo or anything (thinking maybe had a corrupted book) and absolutely nothing happens. the icon grays a little and nothing. i have ability to get on the internet, download, upload, etc., but nothing from iphoto. i also killed all prefs, caches, etc. that are associated wuth iphoto. any HELP would be APPRECIATED......

    Could your location be an issue?

    If not, then...
    If you click on the "Book" icon at the bottom of the iPhoto window, then click on the "Options & prices..." button, does it properly link to Apple's iPhoto books page? (This should be a link which is not directly associated with your Apple account, so it should work.)
    Have you tried Repair Permissions using Disk Utility?
    If you create a new user account and try again from there, does it then work properly?
