Purchasing options-Online or PC World

Just about to make a life changing purchase (iMac G5)..are there any benefits of buying from the Apple online store versus buying at my local PC World?
Obviously it would be easier to return a 'duff' product to my local...any others?

Like i said before... i bought an imac from PC World... it was not overpriced and it was to the latest specification. Staff knowledge was not an issue as i knew what i was buying.
It frustrates me that pc world do not have mac's being shown in their full glory but without having them on display in main stream stores how are the windows world going to know just how beautiful they are, and that the expensive price tag is just rumour. PC world is not perfect but it does serve a purpose and shouldn't be ruled out.
If PC World did not have them on display I would have struggled to get my sister in law to get a mac... we went to pc world, played on them, i showed her office on a mac - she was blown away by dashboard, the finder & the feel of a keyboard - none of which you can get when you buy online (and there isnt a Jonh Lewis near her). If we hadn't have been able to play on it she would have just got a windows machine.
The staff at john lewis (in my opinion) know no more about mac's than the mac specialist at the PC world store! They just look a bit older and less spotty!

Purchase of online number with Skype Credit

I purchased $30, but I of Skype credit and went to purchase an online number with it, but I keep getting the same message to sign in to my account to purchase. I am signed in, it says hello to me. So the next thing I tried was to sign out of Skype completely and Quit it on the desk top, then sign in again. nope same message. I selected a special number for this and now it is expiring because I can't make skype take skype credit! What so I do, time is short. With the plan I purchased I was suppose to have live chat with skype to troubleshoot the problem, but I don't have access to that either!

We are unable to update the numbering scheme from manual to automatic in define purchasing options (Numbering Tab). Documentation says that you can update it, but it does not give any reason under what circumstances we would not be allowed to update the numbering schemes.

I am doing multi organisation implementation and only one ledger they do not require Inventory and Purchasing modules. Because of that i will not create any inventory organisation for that selected ledger.
This ledger will have seperate responsibility for AP.
Howver, my problem is when i am trying to complete the financial options, inventory organisation is mandatory for that responsability. Without inventory organisation i am unable to save the financial options.
Please assist me how to overcome this issue.

How do I go back to my normal app window. After selecting the "purchased" option??

So I'm messing around with my phone, and open my app store. At the very top u see the "purchased" option and I select, cool it shows me all the apps I have. Now I'm done and I wanna go back to the way it was..... What do I do??? I don't like it this way. Now I have to individually update my apps, not the "global way", where for example if there is 10 apps to update, I could do them all at once. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This is the "Updates" Allan is referring to.
If you don't see this at the top of your phone's screen, Restart your phone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then drag the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

The usual cause is having the trial of iWork '09. You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his box.com account in for_iWork'09 > other_iWork'09 items > uninstall iWork '09.zip.
FYI: the name of the program is Pages, no 'i', the suite is iWork.

Today i faced a wiered issue, One of my database on sql server 2005 was offline.
Scenerio: One fo my database was offline , I checked in
1. SSMS (GUI) -- DB is offline
2. sys.databases (status) -- offline
3. Job is using DATABASEPROPERTYEX and its ignoring databases as status is offline.
And we also know (observed) if we change status from online to offline , Message come as below

SQL Server has encountered 1 occurrence(s) of cachestore flush for the 'Object Plans' cachestore (part of plan cache) due to some database maintenance or reconfigure operations.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
You might also try signing out of itunes and back in (Settings App > itunes & App Store)

Yes, I am signed in to iTunes match on the macbook pro, iPhone , & iPad (all updated & correct music libraries) where I bought all the tunes but still no updated tunes on the iPhoto music library after 3 days of being on iTunes match.
