Purchasing Photo Elements 12 and Premier 12

Is it better to purchase the cd's or simply download the software? Do you receive anything extra by purchasing the cd's?

Buy the CD's. You get a multi-platform serial number (Mac & Windows) which may increase resale value (download versions are I think single-platform). You also get a Getting Started pamphlet. If you also want a download, just download the trials - they are identical and will work with the serial numbers on the boxed product.

Elements 13 and Premier Elements 13 install problems

I downloaded (after purchasing) both Elements 13 and Premier Elements 13. When I ran the installer it prompted me whether I purchased or a trial. I chose purchase and then it asked me to sign in, which I did using prper credentials and the application just sat and spun around for 20 minutes doing nothing... reslt I could not install either product. You can activate any two of them at a time, but if you want to use it on a third computer you will need to deactivate one of them before you can do so. To do that, go to Help>Sign Out.

Make sure you have cookies enabled for your browser and clear your cache. If the problem continues try using a different browser.
It is not clear what you mean saying it says it is not applicable. If none of that helps, if you could include a screenshot of the message it might be helpful.

How do I deactivate Photo Shop Elements 9 and Premier Elements 9

I am having a problem with my element 9 and premier elements 9 so I tried the trial version of 11 and ran into the ame problem. I want to ypgrade to the 11 version, but want to deactivate my 9 versions.

Normally, to deactivate any Adobe product you just need to click the Deactivate option found under the Help option of the main menu bar at the top of the application window.

How to uninstall/reinstall Photoshop elements 10 and Premier Elements 10

I have purchased a copy of Photoshop Elements 10 and Premier Elements 10 (bundled together 5 discs). I've installed on my Windows 7 laptop beginning with disc 1 and then it hung up and I couldn't eject. I was not prompted for any further discs. I then read that I should've began the install with Disc 2 as I am installing on a Windows 7 computer. I was wondering if I should uninstall what I have done so far and start over with a fresh install omitting disc 1 and beginning with Disc 2. Is this what I should be doing? I have not connected to the internet and "activated" the product yet. If I uninstall will I need to somehow remove the serial number and deactivate to preserve them for the re-install on the same computer. I don't want to lose one of my licenses as I wish to install these programmes on my desktop as well. Have read through many similar queries on these forums and have become pretty confused. Hope someone can help.

Thanks Jeff. I will install from disc 2 but presumably first i need to uninstall my first attempt (from Disc 1). However, will uninstalling the product use up one of the licenses as I would like to install on two computers and I don't want to use up both licenses on the same computer. I have read on this forum about the need to de-activate the program before uninstalling but some clarification on what "de-activating" actually does would be welcome. Could someone please confirm the steps I need to take to solve this problem. As I understand it I need to 1) de-activate the first incorrect install (from disc 1), 2) uninstall the product and 3) re-install using disc 2 and then disc 4. It seems discs 1, 3 & 5 are not needed for my install of Photoshop Elements 10 and Premier Elements 10 on a Windows 7 64 bit computer.
Following these steps will use up one of my licenses (hopefully not both) and I can then install the programme on my desktop for my second license.

64-bit Photoshop Elements 12 and Premier Elements 12

I'm new here and I have not had good luck searching the FAQs so, here I am. I have a new laptop with Windows 8. I just purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 and Premier Elements 12 and installed them. My OS is x64 but the install didn't give me a choice. Now I notice that they are 32-bit versions installed. Simple question...Do they come in 640bit? If so, how do I get it? 64 bit can access more RAM so it would definitely be better.

Thanx so much for pointing me in that direction. It definately says, " and in 64-bit or 32-bit mode on Windows 7 and Windows 8 & 8.1;" which means it should be able to run in 64- mode but I'm not sure how to make that happen. I work for a software company and our software has two different versions that are installed. So do you know if I have the wrong version or do they have some kind of switch that I missed setting on installation?

Price of Upgrade to Photoshop Elements 13 and Premier Elements from both in version 10

Thank you for your quick response. Unfortunately after clicking through this link (and then a further 7 or 8 more) I got to a page that quoted £100 for the two. I''m sure this is a discounted price for a new purchase, and whilst I understand you will always get the full product when upgrading from one version of Adobe to the next, I do not think it is acceptable to charge such a large amount when I have already paid full price for a not very old previous version. Have I clicked to the wrong page? Does anyone have a link for direct access to upgrade that is at a much more reasonable price? Whilst I know software developers do not try and compete with large high street retailers, I believe I can purchase both Adobe suites as a package from a well known one for much less than this! BNN, even though I understand what KT is saying, your thought resonates with mine. When it comes to building and maintaining my website, I see myself more as a photographer than as a web designer. Hence, even though Apple may not be actively developing (and we are guessing on this one, arent we) iWeb, the existing functionality should do plenty of good to me for next couple years at least.
That said, they released a point update a few days back and with the whole cloud thing building momentum and mobile me going for free, why would Apple want to pull the plug on such a fantastic product?

If you originally downloaded the applications you might find links to do that again via your Adobe account online. Beyond that, here are some link where you can download the trial versions and use your serial number to activate to full use.

I intend to install elements 11 and premier elements 11 as replacements for older versions. Should I install elements (with it's organizer) first ? Or does it matter?

When you install either of PSE or PRE, organizer is installed along with. You can have older versions along with the new ones. They all would work individually as well.
