Pureview 808 - How to film 720p video in Automatic...

I see detault automatic mode in Nokia Pureview 808 will always shoot in 1080p mode. How can we change it to shoot in 720p instead with out going to creative mode?

I would just set up C1 to 720p and leave it in C1.

  • How can I prevent videos from automatically starting when I load a web site?

Recently web sites have begun not only showing me the first shot of a video, but starting the video automatically when the page loads (or when I scroll down to the part of the page where the video is located). This happens on various news sites (nytimes.com), facebook, and other places. How can I prevent the autostart from happening?
I've got AdBlockPlus and NoScript enabled, although I whitelist many sites in NoScript. Videos used to wait for me to click an arrow in the middle (like a "play" button) to start; some still do, but most don't. (I believe an add-on is responsible for the play button, but I don't recall which one.)
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

The chosen answer is not an answer at all.
The question remains unanswered: How does one prevent unwanted video content from playing automatically on web websites? The problem is most notable on news sites such as ABC News.
It is really, really, really really really, really, really, really really really, really, really, really really really irritating. More irritating, in fact, than when people cut and paste a word a dozen times to emphasize it.
MORE IRRITATING THAN WHJEN PEOPLE USE ALL CAPS OUT OF FRUSTRATION BECAUSE NO ONE SEEMS TO LISTEN OR TO CARE THAT I AM SLOWLY LOSING MY MIND BECAUSE EVERY FLIPPING WEB PAGE IN EXISTENCE PLAYS VIDEAS THAT I DON'T WANT TO WATCH.
More irritating than repeatedly stating the same thing over and over and over and over... wait. I already illustrated that tautology. Never mind.
Does anyone have an answer? If there is no answer, and the powers that be at Firefox have decided that we have no choice, then state so. If those who decide what HTML "is" have decided that individuals have no power to opt out of video content on any given web page, then say so.
If Obama is to blame, then say so. If Bush is to blame, then say so.
But don't say, "the web [page may be using HTML 5 to play video" because THAT is a NON-ANSWER, let alone the "best" answer.

  • Whenever I play a video the flash player logo shows and I have to click it first. How can I make videos play automatically?

Every time I go to play a video the F symbol appears and I have to click it each time to play the video. Alternatively I have to right click the page and go into "no script" and allow that particular page. This didnt use to happen until recently. Running windows vista Firefox 3.6.
    thanks

If you use extensions like <i>Adblock Plus</i> or <i>NoScript</i> or <i>Flash Block</i> that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
You need to check the (global) settings in NoScript to see how you can unblock Flash content.

  • How to make the video close automatically?

Is it possible? Or we need to add a Close button, and let it execute the following JavaScript?
    javascript:window.close()
It seems that the code does not work in PDF (the format that the project is published in).

Did you set the Preferences, Project, Start and End, to Close project instead of the default Stop Project?

  • How to Stop Flash Video from Downloading

    Greetings,
Can anyone tell me how to configure Flash video from
automatically beginning the download process as soon as the page
loads? I've set autoPlay to false, so it does stop on the first
frame. But I can still see the download progress bar when it should
    wait for a click.
    Thanks

Is this one of those questions you guys get tired of
    answering? ;-)
I've reviewed the answers for similar questions, but found
none that fully addressed my issue. If you could refer me to a
post, or an Adobe tutorial that deals with this head on, I would
    really appreciate it.
    Thanks.

  • 720p video in 1080p timeline has black borders

    Hello,
    I have Premiere Cs6, with Windows 7.
I want to mix 1080/50p and 720/30p videos, and correctly downsize it to 720/25p in Adobe Media Encoder.
    1. When I choose 720/25p timeline, all the 1080p videos looks like zoomed (the middle of the video image can be seen). The 720p videos are fine
    2. If I choose 1080/25p timeline, the 1080p videos are fine, but the 720p ones has black border on all 4 sides:
    http://img861.imageshack.us/img861/6306/69202278.jpg
Please help me how to do it correctly, to be able tho get a proper 720/25p video from these sources, without borders.
    Thank you!

The timeline should match the final output so use a 720p25 timeline.
If you have a 720p as your output you have a 1280x720 canvas. If you drop a 1920x1080 video on it will be too big. Do as SAFEHARBOR11 said....
In Premiere Preferences, there is a checkbox for "Default Scale to Frame Size". If you enable that, when you Import clips they will automatically fit the current editing size.
...OR for each clip open up the effects->motion and change the scale of the 1080p footage (1280/1920=66.6666%) - it won't divide nicely so you'll have to do 66 instead of 67% so that you don't get black edges.
As for output frame rate... do you have to do 25fps? If it's not for broadcast - it is my understanding that most PAL countries have BD players that can understand 24fps as well. I say this because maybe you'd be better off retiming the 50i footage to 48i (a 4% slowdown) and thus 24fps. You do this by right clicking and Interpret Footage-> 24fps instead of its 25fps.
You can then edit between the two cameras without throwing frames on the floor since the 720p30 will 3:2 pulldown to 24fps too.
BUT, you only need to do that if the shudder from dropping 1 in 25 frames on the floor has a worse look than slowing down the original footage. It is easier if you're editing back and forth with the two cameras to drop those frames but perhaps slowing down would be better for you.
Some professionals cringe at the idea of throwing frames on the floor, others that the original is slowed down. It's up to you.
    As some food for thought....
When I was on the DVD authoring team for the "Dune" release in Australia ('98) the telecine of the original film was sped up from 24 to 25fps. We then sped up and pitch shifted back down the 5.1 audio track to match.
Another example [I didn't work on] is "The Thomas Crown Affair" release in the USA. The title menus must have been done in the UK (or Oz) and not pitch shifted because it has a 4% higher pitched music vs the film. - it's very noticeable because from the root menu it goes straight to the same piano tune in the film and drops a couple tones. (^dink dink dink^.... ^dunk dunk dunk^) In the film itself you have no idea that the feature was [or was not] stretched 4% to fit to 25fps or 30fps (ie 24fps original 3:2 pullup).

  • How can I transfer video from Iphone 4 to PC?

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I am upgrading from the 3G so I dont know much about the video recording yet. All I want to do is transfer the video I took on my iPhone to my PC, I can't figure it out.
Also, is it possible to upload 720p video directly to youtube from the iphone?
    Thanks.

For a windows PC, you can use File Explorer. Just go to My COmputer, double-click the iPhone device and navigate to the DCIM folder. All film and photos from the camera roll are stored there.
YOu can drag and drop them to your pc.

  • Please help. When exporting a 720p video using Quicktime Conversion in FCP it saves some extra temporary files to my computer. The file is called ICMMultiPassStorage. This file gets so large that eventually the program and exporting process crashes.

Please help. When exporting a 720p video using Quicktime Conversion in FCP it saves some extra temporary files to my computer. The temporary file it saves is called ICMMultiPassStorage. This file gets so large that eventually the program and exporting process crashes. I have been able to locate the file using GrandPerspective and close out of FCP to delete it. But when I try exporting the movie again it creates the ICMMultiPassStorage file again. I have made sure my scratch disks are set to my external hard drive so I know that isn't the issue. How do I fix this problem so these temporary files are not being stored on my internal hard drive instead of my external? Thanks!

Try exporting the timeline "using current settings" via Make QuickTime Movie, then submit that clip to Compressor for the transcode. This should be faster and less painful.

  • HT3209 I got a new apple tv 3 how do upgrade my video content to 1080p

I got a new apple tv 3 how do upgrade my video content to 1080p for the orginal purchased version at 720p?
    Cheers,
    Michael

Yopu can stream it on the AppleTV  from the internet under Movies > Purchased (or Purchases? I can never remember which!) which will bypass what's in iTunes provided AppleTV is configured in Settings for iTunes store for 1080p.
If you want a copy in iTunes, then go to Preferences and change download preference to 1080p.  Then delete the 720p copy and redownload from the cloud (iTunes home page icon > Purchased link on the right).  If you delete the 720p copy and it goes to trash or recycle bin, you can fish it out of there and add to iTunes later if you need a 720p version too (or SD if that gets trashed with the 720p copy).
Note - currently you cannot upgrade SD purchases to HD.  Even for an upgarde fee.

  • How to watch .avi video in iphone?

Hi I use win Vista and I just bought a new iphone. Everything works well. Only one question is : how to watch .avi video in iphone. I download a lot of video in that format but cannot add them into intunes, therefore cannot sync into iphone. I search the web and know the problem is quickplayer doesn't support this video format. Is there any solution to tranform .avi video format to any format which quickplayer support?
Another question is : I bought some TV show DVD ( like Grey's anatomy, House, etc.) How can I sync those films into itunes then sync into my iphone, so I can enjoy it at lunch time at work.
Thanks for you help in advance.

The iPhone cannot play AVI videos. You'll need to convert them before you can load and play them on your iPhone. If you search the Using iTunes for Windows forum for "video convert", you'll find a lot of threads on this subject already.
I bought some TV show DVD ( like Grey's anatomy, House, etc.)
Sorry, but DVDs are copy-protected and cannot legally be converted. It's a violation of the Discussions terms of use to talk about such ripping.

Why does Quicktime tell me it can't play certain videos created with my Phantom 2 v3 drone ? I fly the drone and switch back and forth from video to still pics and while I may have filmed four videos , sometimes Quicktime tells me that one of them can't be played . Checking the info shows that each of the unplayed videos was saved in the same mp4 format as the playable ones yet some of my most important videos won't play . It's getting very frustrating .

first; I use Perian, that helps even though it is no longer supported, (must have for avi files)
the apple-cores at apple have gotten very sloppy -- quicktime is a bit finicky and flakey.
example,   occasionally (when copy file from quad's card to hard drive)  the avi will show up as a 'mov' file and qt plays it no problem and no conversion.
but that is very occasionally,  most of the time qt won't convert the file,   -- iMovie won't open an avi without Perian installed  ,  I don't know how that effects qt.
qt 7"pro" is no good either, (qt 10 does everything it does and for NOT the extra $35)
I have gone to VLC  and MPlayerX  for direct playback for drones and cameras.

  • What is the best Workflow to output 1080p as a 720P video?

    Hi all,
I have DSLR video shot at 1080P.  I knew the final product would need to be 720P which was fine since I wanted to be able to move (dolly, zoom in or out) the full sized 1080p clips in the 720P timeline.
The problem I am seeing is that the video exports much softer than the original 1080P footage.
So if any of you have a good workflow of how you would perform this talk, I would love it if you could share it with me.
Some of the clips I am allowing FCPX to "fit" the 1080P footage to the 720P frame, other clips I am using at the native 1080P size (larger than the 720P timeline) and doing the post production moves (dolly, zoom in, zoom out)
The 720P video will end up on Vimeo.
    Thanks for any advice,
    Matt

    Easiest way:
    Share > Vimeo
on the share dialog ... next to the last line -> uncheck Set size automatically and select HD 720p Video Sharing
If you need access before exporting to vimeo:
Go back out to the Projects pane and with your video selected:
If you want to keep your original 1080 format as well then duplicate the project
in the inspector, select the Properties pane.
at the bottom of the pane is a wrench icon -> click it.
reset your video properties to 720HD (you may have to settle for 30p rate.)
double click your newly resized video
    "Share" > Export as usual

  • Brand new MacBook Pro can't handle 720p Video in iMovie?

Well, my Black 2.0 GHz Core Duo MacBook has been replaced by the new 13" 2.26 Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro (I had to pay the difference) and I had it upgraded to 4GB of Ram and a 320GB Hard Drive!
I use a Kodak z1085 IS Digital Camera that records videos in 720p quality. When I import them into iMovie '09, I get this message:
This is the same thing that I got on my Core Duo MacBook. If I did not optimize the video, it would play choppy and could not keep up. On my new MacBook Pro, I still get this message saying that "my computer can't handle it." I can undersatnd my old Core Duo MacBook not being able to handle it, but when a brand new $2000 MacBook Pro can't handle 720p video, somthing has to be wrong here.
Are there cretin specs that indicate what computer can handle what? I'm guessing that this MacBook Pro CAN handle it, but why am I still getting that message? Do I need a $10,000 Mac Pro Tower system to make it happy?
Can anyone please explain this and help me out?
    Thanks,
    Scott

    +Well... for starters, the 2.26GHz MB Pro is not a $2,000 machine.+
Sorry...$1.5 thousand. Still too much for a brand machine that isn't "powerful enough" to run software that came out before the computer did.
+For all intents and purposes, it's an entry level notebook (despite the name "Pro")... with only slightly higher specifications than the white MacBook.+
So its only slightly better then the model that can only handle solitaire or any other basic application? I find it odd Apple would include iLife if these machines can't handle all of the features that they are supposed to. Pro means professional. that means this machine should be able to handle PRO applications like Final Cut, etc. But how can it if it can't even handle iMovie! Not to mention they screwed us out of using the old version...so I am stuck using this version!
+I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say your black MacBook was replaced by a new 2.26GHz machine... but you had to pay the difference... It sounds like you were perhaps having problems with your MacBook and Apple allowed you to upgrade to the newest version paying something additional. If that's the case, it sounds like they were very generous as you had a first gen MacBook that was about three years old.+
Yes that is exactly what happened. My Black MacBook had many issues. I sent it in for repair three times and even took it to an Apple store when I was on vacation. (don't have any apple stores where I live) All of these repairs did not fix the problems and they kept on coming! So they offered to just replace it. But they don't sell the Black MacBook anymore. Only the white...and I don't like the white (thats why I bought the black!) so that is when they offered me the MacBook Pro if I paid the difference. In which I did. So that is how I got my new MacBook Pro.
+Are you saying that your video plays choppy on your new machine... or just that you get the message stating that it may play poorly?+
Both....It shows that message, and does play somewhat choppy. Not as choppy as the old MacBook though.
Like I said, I'd just like to know what Apple calls "good enough" so it doesn't display that warning.
