Purple triangle always ends at 1:06:30 problem
I familiar with GB3 and have been doing podcasts with it for a while. Easiest for me to work is I just open the last podcast i did and delete the audio, add new audio and do new voiceovers since the theme is the same. Then save everything and export the podcast to disk. I see now that there is about 3 minutes of space after the audio is done as the triangle ends at 1:06:30 so I re opened the project and set the purple triangle to the end of the region, saved it and exported again only to see the same thing happen.
any help??
Also is there an easier way then having to drag the podcast track region (when it is the only region) to the end of the project without having to mouse click and drag ???

I just did a 1 minute podcast from scratch and set the purple triangle to 1 minute. saved and exported to disk. It saved with the triangle ending correctly so my problem has to do with the way I do my podcasts. Again as I mentioned before my podcasts are episodes so I just take my last finished podcast, open it in GB delete the audio track. Then add a new audio track and save as a new podcast, then use the original standard jingle parts and call bits which I move around to fit the new audio. I then add a new narration / voiceover. Each podcast ends at a different time so wherever the new podcast ends is where I position the purple triangle and then save and export to disk. I never had this problem before and do not want to resort to doing a completely new podcast episode from scratch having to import the standard jungles etc and then record a new narration track on top of that evrytime I have a new podcast to do. Alot of work, anybody have any suggestions???

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -
Printing inserts - they always end up slightly too small
any suggestions? i'm just using the print command in itunes. but when i cut them out using the guides, they always end up just slightly too small for the jewel cases. is there some page setup thing i need to be aware of?

Just loads an always ends up incompleteIf your back up continually fails, you might try turning off back up on your mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup) and then deleting the backup file from iCloud by swiping the backup file on the mobile device (settings > iCloud > storage & backup > manage…) and then turning back up on again.

I can't send pictures through a message to anyone~it shows it trying to send but always ends up in "failure",,,,,any clues as to what i am doing wrong?? Time zone purple arrow always active iOS 5.0.1
Is this happening for every one? The time zone location service is ALWAYS active in 5.0.1 in both my 4S and my iPad 2.
I'm also noticing this after the update. In 5.0 my iPad 1 had the purple arrow always on, no matter what, and my iPhone 4S was normal (arrow just once in a while, briefly). Now, after the update, both have the arrow on for really really really long periods of time. However, at least on the iPad, there's a difference: whereas before the update, this was clearly running down the battery quickly, after the update, it doesn't seem to be affecting the battery much. (I read for quite a while with the arrow on and battery at 99%, which would not have happened before, when I could practically watch it tick down without blinking)
On both devices, the arrow *does* eventually turn off, but it takes a long long time to decide to do so. (Maybe an hour, even) It's annoying that whereas the iPhone had been acting "normally" before the update and it was a big problem on the iPad, now both devices are stuck with this semi-problem. Fixing the broken one would have been better than half-fixing the broken one and half-breaking the OK one! -
Good Morning! As a feedback, I still prefer the physical purchase instead of downloads. It suppose to be easier and faster and always end up being slower, annoying and frustrating. Exactly the same issue, exactly what is described by joeltimothyoh. This is extremely silly since we know that Apple extended the width of the iPhone 5 from the iPhone 4's and now the camera photos resolution doesn't seem to fit the screen nicely. While this problem can be solved by a photo editing app, it defeats the whole point of capturing nicely taken raw photos.

I have Safari on an HP desktop running Windows 7, 64-bit. When I want to clear the history from Safari, the "Reset Top Sites Also" button is always checked. This can cause problems. Any way to have it unchecked all the time?

Try running the Microsoft Fix It Tool to see if it will fix the print spooler.
Diagnose and repair Windows File and Folder Problems automatically.
You can also run the System File Checker to repair corrupted or missing files.
System File Checker: Run sfc /scannow & analyze its logs in Windows 7 | 8.
You might end up having to do a repair of Windows.

Using More than One iDevice on the Same Computer
This applies mainly to couples who are adding another device and do not want their email, messages, etc. being duplicated on both devices. To begin read: How to use multiple iPhone, iPad, or iPod devices with one computer. You need to establish a separate Apple ID and password for whomever will use the new iDevice. See Apple - My Apple ID and Frequently asked questions about Apple ID. The easiest way is to do this on the computer using iTunes: iTunes- How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes.
On the computer create a new user account for the person with the new iDevice. This will be the user account that person will always use. He/She will no longer use the other user account. This way that person will have a separate iTunes Library. Note that once done you cannot "share" apps under a single Apple ID. Each of you must purchase your own apps under your own Apple ID. When you decide to split up like this one of you will need to re-purchase the apps that they want to use.
Start by transferring the new device(s) to a new account along with all your data. Save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless they are already in the camera roll) by opening your Photos app, tap on Albums icon at the bottom. Now, tap on My Photo Stream album; tap Select; tap on the photos you want to select;, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow) in the lower left corner; then tap Save to Camera Roll.
If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep then you need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself. Later you can copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.
Tap on Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the person keeping the current account will not be affected,) provide the password to turn off Find My Phone and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted. Sign in with a different Apple ID to create your new account. Choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on separate accounts, you can each go to icloud.com and delete the other person's data from your account.

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
