Push  and banner notification for Email not working on Iphone 6

Just got my iPhone 6 on Friday and I have my email set up to Push emails but that isn't happening. I'm getting them much later then they actually come to me and I'm not getting the banner on my phone when it does finally make it to my phone. I have all the setting correct that I can tell. I have it set up to notify me when email comes in via banner. Set up to notify me in lock screen as well.   Does anyone know if I'm missing a setting?  I notice now on this new system that in email set up I use to just have the Push option but now under Fetch - Push there is each mailbox listed and within them it says Fetch --- but I want Push not fetch......

I have been having the same email problem for hours and my Iphone email is also not working. Unable to log into Verizon webmail as well.  I was finally able to get into my email account via Yahoo mail (yahoo/verizon accts linked). Still having issues with Outlook and my iPhone.

  • Push and Fetch email not working on iPhone 4S

    My iPhone 4S only receives email intermittently. I`ve tried deleting my email accounts, turing the phone off and on again, and adding additional email accounts, but the fixes are only temporary and sooner or later, usually sooner, my iPhone stops receiving email again. This happens when it`s set to Push and when it`s set to Fetch. This is so frustrating. I rely on my phone for email and and so disappointed with iPhone`s performance. I have to say that my Blackberry was much, much better. I`m seriously thinking about switching back to BB. Are there any fixes for this out there....

  • I downloaded mavericks and the notification center does not work

    When I do the three finger swipe to the left on the trackpad, the notification center does not show up and when I click on the manual (at the top right of the screen) It shows up with the messages and facebook thing but it wont allow me to click on them and when I look on the system preferences area of the notification center it doesn't have any options.

    No, it doesn't. You have to swipe with two fingers. Start the swipe with your fingers off of the trackpad.

  • Wireless and Ethernet connection for U330 not working - Help

    I need help with my wireless and ethernet connection for the U330 notebook. I can not connect to the internet since I received my U330 and if I try to connect to a wireless router, it knocks other users off. I called customer service already and they asked me to download the driver on the Lenovo Downloads and Drivers page. The page can not be found when you try to download the drive so I was not sure if there is another place I can download it since customer service mentioned that they will send me a disk which will take some time. Thanks in advance.

    Your router may be knocking you due to lots of facts. Those Ensteins suggested drivers reinstall because that's the only thing they know.
    Try changing your encryption mode, try adding your laptop's WiFi MAC-adress of whitelist of Route, try disabling firewall, try increase strength of signal.
    Driver is located at consumersupport.lenovo.com - do not hesitate to check.

    I set up my email account on my iphone 3gs a long time ago, but last night it stopped sending and receving emails. I get the error message"No password provided for yahoo". Please go to settings and enter password. I have done this, but when I go back to my emails, I get the same message and on returning to settings, thr password has disappeared. I can access my Emails on my macbook and on another tablet, but the problem persists on my iphone. Is anyone able to help?. I have not made any changes to anything else on my phone and have updated and synced my phone again today, in case that helped, but it hasn't.

    Hi, I have just changed to Iphone 5 and I noticed that my yahoo emails are not working. I cannot save the yahoo password when I set up my yahoo email accounts in Iphone 5.
    The error message says "Yahoo Server unvailable". Please try again later.
    I tried to delete the yahoo account and add in again but still not working.
    Please advise urgently.

    It's not your phone... Yahoo is having issues right now with many of their users.  I'm getting the same errors logging in from my PC.

  • Push notifications for messages not working

    When I try to send messages from my Macbook pro running Mountain Lion or from my iPad 2 Wi-Fi to an iPhone, there is no push notification! Since I started using these features, I have now also seen that there is not even a push notification when we send messages from our iPhones themselves, as well now! Very frustrating as some important messages go completely unnoticed. Is there any fix (I couldn't find one) or must we wait until they realize how annoying this is and change it? Basically as I have it set up it is worse than useless.

  • Copy and paste JPG into email not working

    Upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.2 yesterday from Snow Leopard.  iMac from 2009.  Copied JPG from web page and pasted into email.  Looked fine.  Sent email to myself.  When I read email, the JPG photo is replaced with small blue box with question mark.  This always worked flawlessly prior to the upgrade.  I tried the terminal with defaults write com.apple.screencapture type jpg to no avail (screen snip and paste behaves the same as copy and paste).  Set the defaults back to png ... verified with a defaults read.  I'm missing something, but I can't tell what.

    To reassure you: You don't need to do anything to trigger these issues. ;-) They happen regularly, yet under lab conditions there seems no clear way to nail them down... Most of the time restarting the system and starting with a clean slate gives back the functionality.

    I had a bad experience with my gmail account. It was really slow. 15min looks to work but it won´t make it faster as push email is not supported by gmail when using nokia devices ( I have read it somewhere on a gmail mobile compatibility chart at google help pages)
    I have created an ovi mail account and it works as push email on my c6 00 (latest firmware). I have setup gmail to send a copy of all the incoming emails to my ovi account, so I have instant feedback at my phone of incoming mails.
    The bad news of this workaround is that when I reply i´m doing it from my ovi account where y erase the mails after reading as I have the original mail at gmail.
    I hope this helps someone that needs push+gmail.

    IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

  • Email notification for MeetingPlace not being received

    Client has MeetingPlace 7.1.1 installed. Outlook email notification for MeetingPlace stopped working.
    Problem symptom:  When users try to schedule a meeting from web server page, both scheduler and invitee do not receive email notifcaiton in their email account.  But email notification for MeetingPlace works when users schedule meeting from MeetingPlace for Outlook Plug-in regardlessly.
    I've run a test with client, meeting creation is successful. But as soon as user finishs creation meeting, email notification is "Queued for delivery" in Email Notification Report in MeetingPlace App Admin page. I checked all possible settings in MeetingPlace Administration page, nothing looks wrong - correct email address account and type in user profile; SMTP server is properly configured and passes tha test; SMTP server is up and runnin. 
    I'm stumped after deep research online, did not go anywhere. Can someone point out where could possible go wrong and how to fix this issue??

    Email notification works differently depending on where the scheduling is done. When done from Outlook your Outlook client sends the request directly to Exchange. When scheduling from the web the invite is held in a mailbox on the Application Server and periodically the system tries to send the email to its mailbox on Exchange.  Since the issues is with meetings scheduled via the web interface there is an issue with MP talking to Exchange.  I assume the users scheduling from the web have Outlook selected in their profile. This is the first place to check. Next I would look at the Outlook settings in MP. Make sure the MP mailbox is still in Exchange and that the user name and password is correct for the Exchange mailbox. This is usually where the issue is. Also make sure that SSL has not become a requirement to talk with Exchange.
