Push button and Popup

Hi All,
I have an ALV output. Now i have to put a push button on the application toolbar of this output and when i click on the button have to display a pop up. in that pop up i need to put 4 parameters , 3 check boxes and two push buttons.
Can anybody help me in this regard. It will be helpful to me if anybody have a piece of code for my requirement. or else suggest me how to full fill this requirement.

LM00 - Hide push button and Command box

Hi all,
We are in the process of implementing ITS mobile for WM transactions (for example : LM00)
In the browser, I could see pushbuttons F2, F4 and command box. I dont need these push buttons and the command box. Can I hide them in the browser? In fact I want to hide the whole line.
Note : The above mentioned push buttons are not the ones coded inside the application.

1. The pop-message (in one of the custom developed RF transaction) that appears on MC9090 through SAP Console doesnt appear when I use ITSMobile with browser on Windows Mobile 5.0 on the same handheld. Any idea, why I will not get this message? Could this be because of missing template for pop-up message box?

2. I recieve a small screen prompt to enter User ID/Password on the IE 6.0 in the laptop on typing URL. However, in MC9090 handheld device with Windows Mobile 5.0+IE, I do not get this small screen to enter User ID/Password. Therefore a blank screen with no text is displayed. Do I have create template for this small screen too? If so what will be screen number (pgm rlogon?), please. Can you please throw some light on this please?

How many times did you try the reset? Sometimes, it can take more than one reset, especially with these kinds of issues. Try multiple times. Note that you need to hold both buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen. This can sometimes take 15-30 seconds.
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

Push button and menu

1.Can we increase the height of push button in screen painter?Iam able to drag it increasing the length,but how to increase height?
2.Can we deactivate,activate menu in the runtime which is built using menu painter?

Create a image like button to a suitable height and with corresponding text. And put it in mimes folder (\src\mimes\Components\<pkg name>\ ex.jpeg)

Buttons and popup menus

Hi,
I created some rollover button symbols. I'm trying to add a second behavior to the slice containing the button (a popup menu). Is this not possible? I've added the behavior, but it doesn't work. Also, I notice the "simple rollover" behavior is locked. I'm guessing that's because it would affect all the buttons (?).
I'm assuming I have to break the symbol apart. Is that right? Or is there some way to add the 2nd behavior on top?
I hope that makes sense. Maybe in this case it's easier to just use rectangles and text for each navigation button. I was trying to speed things up with the symbols.

Click on the button to select it. A behavior handle should appear (it looks like a small target). Click on the behavior handle and choose Add pop-up menu.

POWL: Button and popups

Hi experts,
I have a requirement where I must create a new button in a powl, no problem here, and when I press this button, I have to generate a warning popup which has yes/no buttons.
I have created the button and I have generated the popup, but It is impossible to me customize popup's header, buttons and functionality of them.
Should I create an enhancement in standard comp POWL_TABLE_COMP?
I am a bit lost with this.

In Employee Self Service tab we have POWL table view where list of Shopping Cart number are available,right?
In this screen we have "Shop"/"Display"/"Edit"/"Print Preview" buttons.
My issue is when i click on "Display" or "Edit" button it's opening the Portal Home Page, i.e. the First page we are getting after login to Portal.
In the Manager tab we are also getting the same issue..when we are clicking on any of Work items it is redirecting to Home Page..also "Resubmit" and "Forward Button" is a doing the same thing...
hope you'll be now able to understand the issue....
Experts please help...badly stuck in this issue..

Buttons and popups

Hi All,
I've done some looking around but not found anything that really does what I want.
What I need is a button on page 0 (to be used by all report pages) which opens up a small popup to gather details (such as email address and from email), and then calls a database procedure, finally returning to the calling page.
So I could be on report page 1200, press button (Send Email) fill in recipient and sender addresses, click GO or whatever and then it calls the procedure and returns to page 1200.
Any ideas?

Have a look at: Popup not INSERTing into table and not refreshing called page ...
Basically, the popup page submits the data and when the page reloads, there is a bit of javascript that is triggered to close the window. Not exactly what you're trying to do, but may give you the basics

Data block and push button

I have a data block where I need that the first two items are a push button.
Now when user want to insert a new record, if you have a text item, since the cursor is in the text item, you can enter a new record.
Now with the push button, I cannot click on it before i click on a text item (which in fact create the new line)
How to have a push button which is able to create a new record like a text item does?

In fact the original problem is :
if you have a row in a data block that start with a push button. and then many text item, you are obliged to put the cursor on one text item of a new record to get the button working. The button is by default disable and cannot be used to create a new record.

Push Button in Multirecord block and Record Number

Hi All,
I have a push button in Multirecord block.
for eg. there are 5 records in that block and cursor is on 1st record. if users pressess the push button on 3rd record (or other than 1st record) i want to get that 3rd record number. i am not able to get this. i checked :system.trigger_record, cursor_record, mouse_record values but it is not working correctly.
what code should i write in when-button-pressed trigger to work it the way i want.
can anybody help.

HI Vikram,
You can create push button in the output list. You have to use SET PF-STATUS statement.
Just follow these stepts for creation of PUSH BUTTON.
1. write SET PF-STATUS 'TEST'.
2. double click on TEST.
3. It will ask you to create status object. click on YES.
4. give the short description and press enter.
5. next screen you will find three things like... MENU BAR, APPLICATION TOOL BAR and FUNCTION KEYS.
6. click on the down arrow that appears next to APPLICATION TOOL BAR.
7. in the items, in first box write your name and press down the text. one popup box will come. press enter.
8. give the function text and press enter.
9. assign key for your push button. and press enter.
10. press enter and activate.
and run your program. you will get push button on output list.
Adding event for the PUSHBUTTON
For the pushbutton use an sy-ucomm ie SAVE to appln toolbar
AT USER-COMMAND.
CASE sy-ucomm.
WHEN 'SAVE'.
write your code here to save in the appln server

Push Button Problem in IC Web Client

Hi Everyone,
I have got an issue here. Iam working on IC Webclient.
I have got a BSP page wherein I have an input field for the Printer Name. I also have a dropdown list box for that. I have a push button and after clicking on which I want some database updates to be done.
But whats happening is once I take the Printer value from the dropdown list box only, the database updates are being made.
My aim is after I take the value from the dropdown and then click on the push button, thn only, the database updates needs to be done.
Please help me out.

I gor confused with CRM 5.1/5.2 and CRM 2007 profile. You are on CRM 5.0 then you do following things
1) goto tx ppoma_crm
2) on top left under search screen, search for Positions " Sales" and Marketing and Service one by one.
Now assign yourself to each of these positions. ( You might find more than one psoition when you search by above criteria. Ideally you should be able to see position names soemthing like Sales Representative, Marketing Represetative etc . I am not sure what exactly would be the name at your system because ppl might chnage the description of positions.
Now launch UI again and you must be able to see all modules.

To have a push buttons you need to first assign a pf-status .
here a sample code for a push button and its handling :
set pf-status 'SELECT' .
at user-command .
describe table t_lpr lines w_lines .
case sy-ucomm .
    when 'SELECTALL' .
      set pf-status 'SELECT' excluding 'SELECTALL' immediately.
      do w_lines times .
        read line w_line field value w_check . " INTO W_CHECK .

          modify line w_line field value w_check.    "INTO W_CHECK .
          add 1 to w_line .
        endif .                        " IF W_CHECK = ' '
      enddo .
Thus when you say pf-status say 'select' , Double click on that and you find a screen eher you can select icons and assign a function code to it!

How to ijntroduce PUSH Button in KD_GET_FILENAME_ON_F4

Dear Experts,
I am new to ABAP.
I know how to use push button in Sel-Screen. But my requirement is:
1)How can I use a push button in "KD_GET_FILENAME_ON_F4" so that on hitting the push button a PopUp screen appears.
2) This Pop up screen should be a file directory screen from which I can select a file.
3) This file on one click should get considered as "file_name" of the call function "KD_GET_FILENAME_ON_F4."

Thanks for your reply. The method suggested by you will definitely help the user to directly open a file dialogue box. But I want the code to make it more simpler for the user. After I execute the code The use should get a Push Button. On hitting this push button a POP UP screen should appear. This pop up screen should lear us to the target folder.

Hi,
I am running oracle forms 11.1.2.0.0.
I create a push button and under object property make it an iconic yes
and under iconic file name I have "java/oracle/forms/icons/save.gif"
During run-time it displays a image but it is not of save, it is an image of badimage.gif
Even if I change save.gif to print.gif it is same result.
What am I missing?
