Push Button Problem in IC Web Client

Hi Everyone,
I have got an issue here. Iam working on IC Webclient.
I have got a BSP page wherein I have an input field for the Printer Name. I also have a dropdown list box for that. I have a push button and after clicking on which I want some database updates to be done.
But whats happening is once I take the Printer value from the dropdown list box only, the database updates are being made.
My aim is after I take the value from the dropdown and then click on the push button, thn only, the database updates needs to be done.
Please help me out.

I gor confused with CRM 5.1/5.2 and CRM 2007 profile. You are on CRM 5.0 then you do following things
1) goto tx ppoma_crm
2) on top left under search screen, search for Positions " Sales" and Marketing and Service one by one.
Now assign yourself to each of these positions. ( You might find more than one psoition when you search by above criteria. Ideally you should be able to see position names soemthing like Sales Representative, Marketing Represetative etc . I am not sure what exactly would be the name at your system because ppl might chnage the description of positions.
Now launch UI again and you must be able to see all modules.
Let me know if u still have any issues

Problem with IR Web client

I am new to Interactive Reporting here i have one doubt, i have installed the IR webclient from workspace and when i am trying to open webclient through IR console Tools-> Connection->Web Clients, when i selecte any of the radio buttons it was not opening. Could any one help on this.

This will not open web client.
This change will come on effect when you open any bqy file in Web client from workspace.

Browser problems with IC Web Client

I receive some errors when I try to launch Interaction Scripts in "My Scripts" section of Interaction Centre Web Client (IC WC) and nothing works after.
One of them is "_htmlbMessageBar" - undefined.
Then I try to check the situation in FireFox 1.5 (latest)
All Portal works good but not IC.
I even didn't reach the main screen!
I examined JS-logs and found error:
"document.frames has no properties"
and then SAP code
"doc=document.frames["A"].document;"
So property "document" is not specified for object "frame"!!!
Of course I immidiately look at W3C DOM Spec:
http://www.w3.org/TR/DOM-Level-2-HTML/html.html#ID-97790553
There is no such property! But in DOM 2 released this one - "contentDocument". (http://www.w3.org/TR/2000/PR-DOM-Level-2-HTML-20000927/changes.html)
How it could be that SAP uses some browser that is not W3C compatible?
This is not only my problem. I found the same here:

But again... No answer from SAP.
Of course changing standart SAP content is not good - but what is the solution?! Try as many browsers as exist in the world since I find the best one?!

I tried many Mozilla-based browsers (Mozilla, Netscape, FireFox) - all the same error with ...no properties ...;
I even can't see any IC Web Client window to check what is the situation with _htmlbMessageBar.
IE 6.0 SP1 and SP2 shows main screen but fails when start scripts.

WAD: Push button not displaying some Web Items

Hi All,
I have a web template 7.x in which there is a push button for "Export to PDF". There are some changes carried out to this web template, to include one radio button web item. My requirement is to display this Web Item on the export to PDF page.
I have included this radio button web item in "Export to PDF" button list. However still it is not displayed on Export to PDF page.
Is there any other setting which i am missing?

As per SAP Note 1069368 which talks about the limitations of Export to PDF functionality in WAD 7, the following webitems alone are supported on Export to PDF:-
Supported Web items
Analysis item
Report item (see also the section 'Web application export with report items')
Chart item
Map item
Information item
Text item
List of conditions
List of exceptions
Images (only from the MIME repository, see Note 484390)
Thus Radio Button cannot be included in the exported PDF.

Problem In IC Web Client Profile

Hi Experts,
I m using CRM5.0 for Web Client.I m changing BuPaMoreContactView as maintained in Cook Book CR5.0.
I m following all steps correctly as
1. Run time profile
2. Assign Run Time profile to my own profile
3. Create Org'n --> Position --> User and assign my profile to organization.
Now when i m checking profile assign to my user(By CRM_IC exicution) it is showing profile that is not exist and giving error Activity clipboard profile could not be loaded
Other problem when i m searching Business partner I m geting only two tab that r Account and Address .I am not geting third tab that is Contact Persion. How i will find that in search page.
Please tell me what is the problem and what i need to check

Forms 9i/Forms 6i Push Button problems

Hello All,
I have a form that is using a bunch of Push Buttons. Each of these Push Buttons has a Access Key assigned to it.
The main canvas is a tab canvas and there are some stacked canvases too. All of them are being displayed on the same window.
If I press the access key a Push button when it is not being displayed on the screen, it still executes the When-Button-Pressed Trigger and is causing me some pain.
How can I stop the When-Button-Pressed trigger from executing when the Push Button is hidden from view ?

Hi,
If you are using Database Authentication for your Siebel Deployment, you need to have each user in Siebel explicitly reflected in your Database too with SSE_ROLE assigned to him!
So, create the user in Database with SSE_ROLE & then try to access it from Siebel Thin Client or Dedicated Web Client.
By default, SADMIN/SADMIN & SIEBEL/SIEBEL are created by the grantusr.sql script, which we run before the Database Configuration.

Push button problem

Hi,
In my report i have created a one PUSH button. when user clicks that puch button a SM30 transaction will call but with no table name. i have give table name also.
Means when user clicks on PUSH BUTTON a SM3o0 will call and table name should be displayed there.
How to do that.

Push Button Problem in Custom screen

Hi All..
In my custom screen, i have 2 (A1, A2) input boxes with F4 option and a Push Button..
When i select the data in these input boxes, i will click Push Button (COPY) to transfer the data from these (A1, A2) to other two input Boxes (B1, B2)..
But data are displaying in (B1, B2), if and only if i click the Push Button 2 times..
How to make the code to display those data from A1-A2 to B1-B2 by Single click..???

Still i need to click 2 times to get the data displayed in B1,B2..

Push button problems

Hi Friends,
We need a pushbutton which when pressed should display a simple message. So we tried using write statement, message statement, SUBMIT ZTEST3 (where ZTEST3 is another program having a simple write statement) AND RETURN and also
IF sscrfields-UCOMM = 'FCODE'.
set screen 9000.
endif.
module STATUS_9000 output.
....some more code to display the message
end module.
But NONE of these work. THis means when the push button is pressed, the screen does not change.

Seems like a 2 in 1 question.
1. Creating a pushbutton and assigning a function code: I have copied a SAP help text below.
2. Displaying a message: There are several SAP standard function modules that displays/popup text. SE37 and type popup* and pulldown. One example is "POPUP_TO_INFORM".
Here is SAP verbage on pushbuttons:
Variant 10
SELECTION-SCREEN PUSHBUTTON fmt name USER-COMMAND ucom.
Addition: MODIF ID modid.
Effect
Generates a pushbutton on the selection screen. When you define the button, you also define a user command ucom (no inverted commas), up to 20 characters long, which is triggered when the user pushes the button. The rest of the syntax is the same as for SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT
You can define the name name either statically or at runtime (see also the BEGIN OF BLOCK, COMMENT and SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN variants).
When you define a pushbutton, you must always specify a format fmt.
By specifying a Modif ID, you can assign the pushbutton to a modification group.
Notes
The best way of reacting to the pushbutton is in the AT SELECTION-SCREEN event, or, for pushbuttons in the selection include, in the PAI routine (with FNAME = '*' and MARK = SPACE) in the database program SAPDBldb. The field SSCRFIELDS-UCOMM contains the user command ucom. (You need to declare the SSCRFIELDS table using the TABLES statement).
You can create your own pushbuttons in the application toolbar using the FUNCTION KEY n addition.
Within the selectoin include : Additions FOR NODE node ,FOR TABLE dbtab und ID id.

TABLES SSCRFIELDS.
SELECTION-SCREEN PUSHBUTTON /10(20) CHARLY USER-COMMAND ABCD.
INITIALIZATION.
MOVE 'My text' TO CHARLY.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN.
IF SSCRFIELDS-UCOMM = 'ABCD'.
ENDIF.
A pushbutton appears on the selection screen with the text 'My text'. In the AT SELECTION-SCREEN event, the field SSCRFIELDS-UCOMM has the contents ABCD after the button has been pushed.

I deploying my form on the web but I am unable to view the
buttons which are made iconic. I used the gif files as iconic,
but I dont get the icon in the button when i deploy on the web.
Please help me out...

You need to set the virtaul path of the directory that
containsthe gif filles in the listener configuration
example n:\myapps\gif\ /web_gifs/
then in the registry of the application server
for FORMS50_PATH add n:\myapps\gif

Capture SY-UCOMM from IC Web Client in SAP R/3

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement in which i am Changing Requested Delivery Date in CRM IC Web Client, when i save the Sales Order in CRM IC Web Client , Based on date the Corresponding Field in VBAK-KVGR2 has to be Updated.
When the Order is created through IC Web Client , the User Exit USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK is triggered and i have put a condition SY-TCODE is initial and T180-TRTYP = 'V' and then Checking SY-UCOMM = SICH currently the SY-UCOMM is getting cleared and because of this i am not able to change the VBAK-KVGR2 field.
Is there any other way to capture the SAVE button Command from IC Web Client in USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK .

CRM 7.0: Test/simulate telephony integration in IC web client

Hello
one of our customers is currently performing CRM release upgrade from CRM 4.0 to CRM 7.0. In CRM 4.0, they used the sapphone server for telephony integration (CTI) into CRM IC win client (SAP GUI).
Now weu2019re currently testing this feature in CRM 7.0, however, the telephony buttons in the IC web client are shown but do not trigger any action.
My question: Is there any kind of test / simulation scenario for testing the telephony integration using sapphone server directly in the SAP system (without the actual sapphone server)? Weu2019d like to make sure that the customizing of the IC profile itself is correct before looking for other technical issues. We're currently testing using business role IC_AGENT.
I searched SAP marketplace and SDN, however, only found transaction code SPHT and guides for ICI.

I know the RFC for the same to be used in IS-U but for that I need to get order type which is mandatory importing parameter for RFC.
I know BP, Premise & Installation.So,How can I get order type for that?

Colored push buttons. It doesn't work on client/server.

I've changed the Background Color property to 'darkyellow' for a push button, but it only shows up colored on the web. Why not in client/server environment ?

Forms has a separation of UI and the Logic. This is why even in client-server a button will look different on Solaris and Windows. Forms throws the actual drawing of the button(all widgets) off to the underlying operating system. Windows does not allow you to set the background color for a button so the property is ignored.
When Forms runs over the web the UI is rendered as a Java Applet and Windows no longer has control of drawing the widgets.
