Push email not working after ios8 update

I have updated my iPad air and my iPhone 5 to ios8.
Both devices have the same email accounts.
The ipad email push works fine after the update on all accounts.
But, on the iPhone I do not get email update for hours unless I physically go into the email app.
Is there a fix for this issue? I have tried everything from deleting and re-establishing the accounts. This happened on ios6 and 7.
Come on Apple, get with the program!

I have the same issue with my iPhone 6 plus. My email no longer pushes with the Mail app. I have to fetch it. What's going on Apple?

Airport Not Working After iOS8 Update

Hi,
Last night I updated my iPad to iOS8.
I was then invited to update the Airport Utility to make it work with iOS8.
The download & installation appeared to have completed successfully, but then I received the same message to update it. I ran the procedure again, following which I got the same message.
The router now has a flashing amber light & is unusable.
I have tried unplugging/reconnecting the mains lead. I have tried using the reset button. I have tried doing both together. Neither the iPad or my computer can see the router.
Can anyone help, please?

I spent several hours with Apple support today: the issue kept getting escalated as it was unable to be resolved by the person I was talking to at each level.
To cut a long story short: unable to resolve it, the unit will be repaired/replaced under warranty. They are very interested in getting hold of my failed unit to inspect it & figure out what has happened to it.
Many thanks to everyone I spoke to: they were all very interested, courteous & as helpful as possible. Excellent customer service.

Scan to email not working after software update

I got a software update notice on printer yesterday and after that scan to email has stopped working. its EXTERMELY slow to connect and dont work at all.
I spent an hour restarting and resetting router and printer, and nothing has helped.
Please fix the new software update.

Please click on the following link for instructions on how to Scan from Windows 7 With the Full Feature HP Software for HP Multifunction Printers.
I suggest that you go through the entire document on the Scan to Email section just in case a setting has been changed.

I had a bad experience with my gmail account. It was really slow. 15min looks to work but it won´t make it faster as push email is not supported by gmail when using nokia devices ( I have read it somewhere on a gmail mobile compatibility chart at google help pages)
I have created an ovi mail account and it works as push email on my c6 00 (latest firmware). I have setup gmail to send a copy of all the incoming emails to my ovi account, so I have instant feedback at my phone of incoming mails.
The bad news of this workaround is that when I reply i´m doing it from my ovi account where y erase the mails after reading as I have the original mail at gmail.
I hope this helps someone that needs push+gmail.

I'm having a similar issue. It appears to only impact Hotmail accounts. For me though, this happened without updating the OS. The email client is simply failing to connect to the Hotmail interface. Only two possibilities, either Microsoft changed something on the email gateway or Nokia changed something on their end. Either way, it's not working and has been out of commission for the past week. If this is how corporate friends get along, I'd hate to see what happens in a adversarial relationship.

Did you always have the same problem or is it new? I always used to be able to get Facebook to work on wifi with no issues for months. I downloaded the new software update for Revolution, and all of a sudden it seems like they blocked the Facebook app somehow unless you're on 4G. It really sux because I can't get into my Zynga games either that are tied to FB! Wish someone at Verizon could be aware of this and fix the problem.
Also, interestingly, when I try to log into the Facebook site with the browser I am directed to an error page. The browser works fine for every other site though. Really seems like there was some kind of block instated that will no longer let you use Facebook on a wifi connection.

Mic Jack not working after Driver Update, Console unavailable, can't install

LMic Jack not working after Driver Update, Console unavailable, can't install? I've had nothing but problems after downloading the latest updates via the auto-updater.
I'm currently using the Creative SB X-Fi Pro Series card. I've had it for close to 6 months and have not had any issues until I ran the auto-updater last night, and while it downloaded over 250Mb of updates, all of them failed to install as described below.
I'm running on Windows Vista Ultimate, 64-bit
My main issue is the fact that my microphone is no longer working. I've done a lot of searching and I think the problem has to do with flexijack not being a microphone jack, but instead is an 'in-line' jack. I can no longer find my audio control console, which allows me to switch between gaming and entertainment modes, ect. The solution I found on the KB says that you can switch the blue jack on the back of the card from an in-line jack to a mic jack within the Audio console. I tried downloading it, but while going through the install, I get an error saying the files could not be found and a prompt which asks for a disk or file location. The same thing pretty much happens with all of the items I attempted to download and install.
I was able to run console fine, as well as use my mic yesterday before I attempted any updates. I attempted the updates because since I've had the card, I've had issues where after I exit a game, all my sound will become crackly and static. Before, I would simply open up the console and switch back-and-forth from gaming to entertainment, which would fix the problem most of the time. If that didn't work, a restart would fix it, but now I've opened up a whole new set of issues.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I also want to say that the support tickets should not require a serial number to submit a new ticket. My product is registered, so I got rid of the box which contains all that information, leaving me at the mercy of these boards...

Hello all. Fisrt of all, this are my specs: Yoga 2 pro 13". WiFi card: Intel(R)Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260. I bought it from Best Buy on November 27, 2014. If you aquired your Yoga before this date, you may have the single band WiFi card. As many of you have experienced, I also had a bunch of issues with my WiFi connectivity and this is how I was able to solve it. At least it has been a couple of days that I haven't had any issues. The first symptom was the usual connection drops every X amount of time. For me it was about every 2 hours. I first unchecked the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option in the Power Management tab of device manager and disabled U-APSD support in the Advanced tab of device manager. This action did not solve the problem. I then downloaded and updated the driver from the Intel web site (http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect) and this seemed to solve the drops; however, a new problem arised: Everytime my Yoga would wake up from sleeping mode, all my wifi networks were gone and the adapter showed as disabled in Device Manager. I would have to anable it to have my networks back. It was a solution but a pain the butt to have to do this everytime. After hours of reading post after post in several forums, I read a repy from Lenovo asking to try leaving the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" CHECKED if you were using the latest version of the driver. I went back to device manager and checked it back and that seems to have solved the problem. So far I haven't had any drops and everytime my laptop comes back from sleeping mode the WFi connection is still there! Here is a recap of how everything ended up: -The driver version I installed is 17.1.0.19-The driver date is 7/21/2014-In device manager|Advanced, U-APSD support is Disbled.-In device manager|Power Management, "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is checked. Nokia E7 - Push Email Not Working

I have recently upgraded to a Nokia E7 from a Nokia E72 and I am now experiencing push email problems?
I configured my Gmail account on my E72 in seconds and the push email worked beautifully and I received mail within 30 seconds of it being sent to my email address. I tested this myself!
So why is there such an issue getting push email to work on my E7? I imagined it would be easier and better, but I have been mistaken.
Is there any way at all to correct this problem? Mail only comes through when I manually sync, but this is frustrating!!
Any help will be appreciated!!

I am also experiencing issues with Nokia messaging since Anna update. Prior to this it was working fine with Symbian^3 making me feel happy for upgrading from E72
But this joy didn't last for much time as I discovered immediately after updating to Anna that mail isn't working anymore. I eagerly upgraded to Anna as soon is it is available on 18th Aug but since then I wasn't able to receive or send mails from the accounts that are already configured. Having waited for about more than week anticipating some quick app update to fix the issue I tried deleting and adding the accounts again. Since then I repeatedly see a error message that "Cannot enable the mail service that allows you to fully experience your favourite providers because connection to the mail server is not possible with the settings provided.
Select 'Next' to set up mailbox without this service. You can attempt to connect to the server by adjusting the mailbox settings later."
Status remains same even after resetting the device completely for seven times and Nokia care has advised me to reinstall Anna firmware using OVI suite from a PC rather than using OTA update. However I haven't had any luck and the issue continues.
Though this seems to be a pain all the early adopters of Anna on E7, N8 and C7 are in, there isn't still an acknowledgement from Nokia to our pity. Seems that they are helping their competitors rather than the customers by forcing them to jump the ship.
