Push notification not received when Iphone is locked

Hello,
When push notificatino is send to iphone 4 and it is locked , it shows message "Slide To Unlock" , when slided no push notification message is displayed.Please help to resolve these.

I recently upgraded my iphone 3GS to the IOS 5.1 however i have noticed that now i am unable to use the camera whilst my phone is locked.
I can use the button but the screen kind of jumps up, like when you double click the home button, to reveal the bottom part of the camera, the shutter and camera/video camera slide, but then the locked page comes back down to hide the camera. Also the function button isnt properly formed, i have the camera but instead of being in a box just the top and bottom lines are shown.
It's so annoying can anyone help?

IPhone 5S Push Notification Not Working At Times PLEASE Help Anyone??

I just got this as a replacement phone for the previous iPhone 5S which I SHOULD have kept that one since I wasn't having problems much. First of all, Twitter push notifications weren't working then fixed it by going to reset settings..NOW when I'm in 3G or 4G LTE mode, at times I'm NOT getting push notificatoins whenever someone sends me messages!! it used to send me messages and push notifications for my previous iPhones!! How can I fix this problem?? Does it sound like a software bug problem? if I update to the latest iOS version, should it work?? This happened when I first used this phone. Do you think it SHOULDNT be the device?? I am very NERVOUS because I don't want to get stuck to this 2 yr contract my mom yelled at me saying i cant do anymore replacements because it will cost extra which it did!! (shipping fee and also 30 dollars) .

Did you tried the button next to the volume?, to turn on or off the touchpad, is very sensitive.
If this doesnt works you can try :
- shut down the computer.
- disconnect the electricity
- remove the battery
- press the start button 20 seconds
after that,
- connect the battery and the electricity and turn on the computer.

Push Notifications not coming through when in sleep mode

I recently upgraded to 3GS from 3G. I just noticed that no push notifications come through when the phone is in sleep mode. It used to work fine on my 3G. I haven't changed any network settings on my router at home. I do not use 3G data, only wifi. Is there a fix for this or does the 3GS have an issue with push notifications?

Shouldn't my iPhone at least fetch my email, if I have set it to 15 minutes. I would expect that it turns on the wifi to poll the email server for new messages. However in my situation, even when I leave my iPhone the entire night it will not once alert that there is a new message. Only when I finally wake the iPhone does it finally show up. I'll unlock the phone and then about 10 seconds later it will sound the new mail alert. So, to me that means that fetch doesn't initiate the wifi connection for some reason. Something has to be wrong.

Chris thanks for your reply, if none of the Do Not Disturb settings are switched on - then am I right that this setting will have no effect. I.e. I want my phone to ring at all times, so have turned off all of the do not disturb settings

Can we import photos from iphone to windows PC when Iphone is locked with passcode?

Hello,
I am using Iphone 5 running IOS 8.1.2.
I recently connected my Iphone to my friends windows laptop to import the photos and videos.
I observed a strange behaviour. I was able to import photos even when my Iphone was locked with passcode.
Can anyone explain me why and when can this happen?
I personally felt, when Iphone is locked with passcode import should not happen.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

A small edit to my above question.
For importing photos I right clicked on my iphone in windows explorer and selected "Import photos and videos" contextual command.
I didn't open it to see DCIM folder.
Hope I receive some information on this.

Work Manager 6.0 Push Notification not working

Hi All,
I have configured Standard Work Manager 6.0 application and now I am trying to configure Work Manager 6.0 Push Notification.
I have completed all Post Installation(optional and required) which are mentioned in Standard product document.
I am getting new work order entries in /SYCLO/PSH01 and /SYCLO/PSH02. After that Agentry server is also calling /SYCLO/PM_DOPUSHWORKORDER_GET Function Module and /SMERP/CL_PM_PUSHWORKORDER_DO Class Handler.
I am getting result in final export table(ls_mdo_output_vals) of /SMERP/CL_PM_PUSHWORKORDER_DO.
My problem is still I am neither getting this work order into ATE nor push notification message.
When I went to Syclo Admin panel, status of the push notification is also NEW.
I have configured 8282 port in [HTTPXML-2] section of Agentry,ini and Syclo Config panel outbound trigger.
Kindly let me know what can be an issue?

See if any of the comment above will work for you.
4. After you tried the above and it didn't work for you to try the latest SMP 2.3 SP04 version and let us know. This is for what I can see on the logs.

The log comment above is stating that the push is trying to be sent to the PDA/handheld but it does not know where to send it to. This is proven from your backend setup and when you have no errors in your push retry.
The last line above is still a mystery to me as there are lots of upgrades with patches and SMP 2.3 SP# and with the userid is not found (especially when it states it is not in per-user mode: cannot determine user for data) then the Agentry Server cannot determine where to send the push to.   Hopefully somebody in this thread knows this.

TFS2013 Checkin Event Notification not received

(Very new to TFS, first time posting)
We have just started exploring TFS2013, and are trying to listen to a checkin event from the collection WSSAS. This was attempted by using BisSubscribe.exe tool. The command run was
"%bispath%" /eventType CheckinEvent /deliveryType EmailPlaintext /collection "http://server:8080/tfs/WSSAS" /address "%myemail%"
But checkin notifications (in this case we do commit and push) were not received. Checking [tbl_EventSubscription] under database TFS_WSSAS it seems the subscription registration is successful. The record is there with EventType=CheckinEvent with a subscriberId=some
GUID, Schedule=0, DeliveryType=1 & Address=my email address.
After each commit and push new records can be seen under [tbl_JobHistory] in database TFS_Configuration with ResultMessage in the last added record as
Notification Job Summary:
0/0 emails delivered.
0/0 soap notifications delivered.
0 errors.
0 warnings.
I also tried to alter EventType=GitPushEvent in the subscription, still unsuccessful.

Can I hide camera function when iphone is locked?

After the update IOS% i know have the camera available even when iphone is locked. How do I remove/hide it from locked screen?

I've owned every iPhone model since the original and have never needed to passcode lock my phone. Not worried about it after all these years. I'm the only one who has ever used it and I don't leave it lying around anywhere. It stays in my pocket when not being used.

Family Sharing Notifications not appearing on iphone

I am having an issue with family sharing. I am the organizer of my family share. I have invited all my family who all have their own apple id's and all of them are logged in to itunes and icloud on their devices using their own id's. I have an ipad air and an iphone 5s - both are signed in to icloud with my apple id. I get family notifications to my ipad only - never to my iphone which is what I have on me the most. I have tried logging out and logging back in, restarting my iphone, logging out of my ipad and nothing works. All notifications appear on my ipad - but they never appear on my phone. No ask to buy or anything. I have gone through setting by setting to make sure everything is identical.
Any help would be appreciated. I have see the same question in a few places with no resolution.

You may need to verify that this functionality is enabled in Settings -> Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode).
Allow access to features when iPhone is locked. Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode (iPhone models with Touch ID) or Settings > Passcode (other models). Optional features include:

Siri (if enabled, see Siri settings)

Exchange push notifications not working on iphone5

My work email is exchange, and it doesn't push on my new iPhone 5. I have all of the settings right for pushing. If I go to my mail, it says 'Checking Mail' and then new message show up. Any help with push notifications not working on the 5? Thank you.

The 'fix' that is decribed in the first post does not work. The only workaround is if you are on Wi-Fi, turn off Cellular Data and then reset the push service by turning on Airplane mode for a few seconds and then turn it back off. Seems to be an issue with the iOS talking to the new LTE CDMA chip on Verizon and Sprint iPhone 5s.

I had the same problem and after a lot of research here and on Verizon I finally discovered that it was an app named Onavo Extend that was preventing my voicemail from working. Other people have had success resetting their phone or network settings, disabling and reenabling SIRI, or deleting the Neilsen app (which I didn't have) but those options didn't work for me. A lot of mods have claimed that this is not an Apple problem but if it is caused by an app that Apple allows to be sold in their app store, then it is an Apple problem, not a carrier problem. Of course, sometimes its just an ID 10 T problem.
