Push notifications work after restore, but not after reboot - ios5 iPhone 4
Push notifications work after I restore my iPhone (confirmed by ipusher and facebook), but from the first time that I turn off/reboot the phone push notifications stop working!? I have restored several times, as the same thing happens every time.
I have an iPhone 4g 32gb running ios5.0.1.
If it's all push notifications, restore the device as "new" and see if the problem goes away.
If it's push notifications for specifics apps, contact the developer of those apps.

Ask for password after sleep but not after screen saver
Hi guys!! I have been using a mid 2009 Macbook pro since mid 2009 and obviously am thoroughly satisfied!! I have OS 10.7.4 Lion.
A small glitch that has been nagging me lately is that I have my screensaver set to on before my book goes to sleep. But I don't want it to ask for a password after it comes back from the screensaver. I want it to ask for password only when it comes back from sleep coz I don't shut the system down more than once a month, so only flip the screen shut when my day ends.
So essentially is there a way I can make it as for a password ONLY after it wakes from sleep and NOT after screensaver?I'm not entirely in love w/ the idea of having to move all my data over to the other account. I might just deal w/ not having the screen saver ask for the pass. One other bit of info that may be helpful: This is the second time having this problem. The first time, it got fixed after the most recent intel osx update. I figured that apple had found a bug and fixed it. Then, w/o shuting down my comp, it failed to ask again. Is there any applications that could be messing this up? Any widgets that might do it?? If not, is there any apps that can switch all my pics/movies, etc over to the other account?

PL/SQL AQ notification works in XE but not in our Enterprise Edition

I am trying to get a Queue up and working and have ran through several examples, but I cannot get the Notify to work in our development environment but it works just fine in my local XE instance.
Below is the code that WORKS in XE but does not call the procedure in the Enterprise Edition of Oracle:\
Please note I may manually DBMS_AQ.DEQUEUE the queued item -- that works just fine, but the intent is the have it notify the procedure (this is still hashing out this technology so keep that in mind during critiquing).
What is different between XE and Enterprise Edition in these regards or what is it I should check?

GPRM Button scripts work in Simulate, but not after burning
Hello everyone:
I have a question regarding GPRM-based buttons and scripting menu navigation. My scripts work perfectly in DVD Studio Pro's simulate mode, but after building and formatting a DVD, the scripts do not function properly on a set top box, in Apple DVD Player, or when playing from the Video TS folder. The scripts were based off of a tutorial by Hal MacLean at dvdstudiopro.co.uk.
Essentially, I have one track which is accessed via a Main Menu or a Chapters Menu. There is an animation that plays at the head of each menu, so menu has a loop point. The user should return to the correct screen, the correct button should be highlighted, and the menu should jump to the loop point. All of these things happen in simulate mode, but after burning, the loop point is ignored: The correct menu and buttons are highlighted, but the menu plays from the beginning. Here is how the project is laid out:
From the main menu, if the user chooses Play Movie, the following script plays:

Thanks for your time!Do you have any pre scripts atached to the menus? I was having the same problems as you and found that pre scripts and GPRMs don't play nice (at least in DSP). Removing the pre scripts solved my issue.

[SOLVED] broadcom-wl works during install, but not after.
I have this macbook air which I'm beating into submission, and it has a broadcom wifi chip. I followed the instructions here for the installation and it worked perfectly. After booting into my newly installed system I do the same, but when I do 'modprobe wl' it fails with:
# modprobe --verbose wl

modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'wl': Invalid argument
I checked with 'lsmod' and none of the blacklisted modules are loaded. I have no idea how to proceed but it should work since it worked during installation. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT: As user Namarrgon on irc pointed out, I needed to rebuild the broadcom-wl package. The reason it worked in the live usb and not in the installed system is probably because the installed system had a later kernel than the one on the live usb.

Kernel 2.6.31 module conflicts
The 2.6.31 kernel caused the rt2870 driver to conflict with other wireless modules. The fix in this thread says that you need to blacklist the rt2800usb rt2x00usb and rt2x00lib modules by modifying the MODULES array in /etc/rc.conf

Preloader works in Flash, but not after upload
Hi all. I'm having problems with a preloader. When I test the
preloader in Flash (using the simulate download option) it works
like a charm. I publish and upload the file to the server...and
when you visit the site, you just get a blank white page until
everything is loaded. I have included the code. Please
remember...it works correctly when simulating a download in Flash,
but it does not work at all after upload. Any ideas?

HTML Redirect is working in muse but not after publishing... HELP!
I am setting up a "Coupon code" for a website I work on. I have set up a basic HTML Redirect box. It works properly in Muse but after publish it does not work correctly anymore. I understand the "password/coupon code" is available to find in the page code, and that's OK, thats the way i designed it. Link works in iweb but not after it's published
It only just started after I added a shape (I made sure to send it backward and whatnot). Anyways, yeah, the link works when I click it in iWeb but refuses to work when it's published. How can I fix this?

Titles work in iMovie but not after I export them
Everything seems to be working normally in my iMovie project but when I export the video, some of the titles are no longer readable (they seem too transparent). When I view the project is full screen mode - it works but once I finalize it and export it, the last few titles get messed up.
I cannot change the color of the text because I am using the "pixie dust" title (which is only in one color).
I have tried clearing the cache, closing iMovie, restaring my computer, duplicating the projects and deleting the old ones...
What else can I do?

Backlight works on startup but not after further unlocking???
As above really, turn the phone off and on again and the backlight works fine, leave it to self lock or manually lock it and the backlight will not work again.
It will flash extremely quickly when I press the home or sleep button then nothing.
Any help?sounds like a hardware failure. You need to bring your phone into Apple for replacement.

So if anyone else is having this problem, the last thing I tried was copying the QTMovieWin.dll from my C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder to my C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes folder and started my iTunes Helper.exe

Messages Notifications working on Macbook but not iMac
So I update to Mavericks two days ago and everything is working great except for Messages. Now on my macbook, Messages works completely fine. I get a Notification when I get a new text from iMessage on my iOS and the syncing is great. But the problem I have is that on my iMac at work, Im not able to receive notifications for Messages. The syncing with my iOS is completely fine but I don't receive any Notificaitons. All of the settings are completely the same on both computers. And I've tried rebooting my phone as well.

Find the Notification item and highlight it.
Now use the quit option top left and confirm Force Quit.
