Pushbuttons  with Traffic lights

hello,
           How is it possible to have trafficlights on pushbuttons....
for eg., i ve got pushbuttons thru cl_gui_toolbar within a
container...now i need to change the status of PBs ie.,it shud
show messages thru lights based on the content in respective
screen..plz throw some light on this light problem...

    I need some help about ALV editable; my reports display an ALV grid editable, and update all the new values on the DB table, but I have traffic lights as values on the DB table.

    And the second problem was, I couldn’t come back to the value initial and I getting the same message.

  • Traffic lights on reports disappears

    Hi Experts,
    I have made the traffic lights settings in WAD exceptions and saved that by Personalising it.Now this report is integrated in portal and it working fine with traffic light since its saved as an View,but in the report I have many fields in Free Chars as drag n drop functionality when I drag n drop anything from free chars column the trafffic lights disappears.
    Can anyone guide me on this issue ASAP.

  • Mrp run and seeing the stock in md04 with green traffic light showing green

    i am running a mto scenario in which sale order is created and mrp run is done and i checked the stock md04 of a finished product in that the rawmaterials and semifinshed products are showing the traffic light green light of show overview tree in md04 when it is first time created there is no stock of the rawmaterial and semfinished product.
    with out any stock why it is showing the traffic light  green and what is the procedure to show the light red when stock is not there.
    rawmaterial is of consumable like paint in which it is not supporting in the bom and it is giving the message it is of process material can any body pls help me how paint is created as a consumable in bom creation.

    Hi muralidhar,
    MRP is a planning tool, not an availability check one.
    It means that you are getting a green light even though there's no stock because the lead time to procure is shorter than the requirement date.
    Regarding consumables, I'm not sure what you include in that, but you can either define them as non stock items in the BOM (in which case they will be specifically purchased for the production order), or maybe you meant that these materials are planned using consumption based planning; in this case they are defined normally as a stock item in the BOM, the difference being that they are not exploded in MRP, and the requirements are not triggered by the higher level.

    Has anyone written a custom javascript solution for cell-based traffic lighting in Interactive Reports? It does not appear that the object model gives access to cell-level properties in either the pivot or OLAPquery objects although spotlighting can be applied to individual columns and rows.

    I planned to write another blog post about reporting partial scores, but since Posterous closed down in March, I am not blogging any more, just paying to keep the old posts online on demand of a lot of users.   • Displaying traffic lights in alv grid report?

    Hi everyone,
    I have an alv grid report.I m using the FM reuse_alv_grod_display to display my alv report.I am passing the fieldcatalogue automatically.I m getting the output perfectly.Now i have to add traffic lights to that alv report.
    Since i m passing the fieldcatalogue automatically i m confused to display the traffic lights?
    any suggestions please?

    I am using 'REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY'. I need to display traffic lights both in header and item level. here is the piece of code I used.

    Using this I could get traffic lights only  at header level. if I replace 'TS_HEADER_DETAILS' with 'TS_ITEM_DETAILS' , i can see lights only at item level.
    Insummary I can get lights eithere in Header or item level, but I need at both the levels.
    Please suggest some solution to overcome this problem..

    If you are using EXCP_FNAME in the ALV layout to display your traffic lights, it may not be possible to move your light field to any other position..
    One possiblity is to define your own field (as icon) in the internal table and assign the Traffic light icon to that field... By this approach, you can position that field in any place in your input structure while generating field catalog or defining your structure
