Pushed my site live and my links don't work

I used Godaddy to register my domain. I am also using their DNS settings.
Created the site in Muse and previewed everything before I published... everything worked fine.
However, once I published the site and changed my settings upon prompt in Business Catalyst, only the homepage loads and my links don;t work.
I am only linking to one other page.
I pointed my host name on GoDaddy to 192.150.2.140
I have deleted my site 3 times now and republished. Set my links to lowercase etc.
the site domain is www.taxiadzbyg.com
Any help is much appreciated! I've read so many things, I am completely confused now as of where to start.

Play Slideshow and Subscribe links don't work in IE

Hi, I published a site with the newest version of iWeb and the Play Slideshow and Subscribe links don't work for my friends who use IE. Also, only some of the pictures will open when clicked. Many of them do nothing when clicked.
Here's an example:

The site works with Safari and Firefox (both Mac and PC) but people with several different versions of IE experience the same problem.
Any ideas on how this can be fixed?

Thanks for your reply. The problem is the whole page is one image and there should be several clickable areas which point to different links.
To solve this we have put a textbox over the clickable area, disabled the background and stroke and then right clicked on the textbox and used the hyperlink option to turn the whole box in to a hyperlink.
We tried several free PDF convertors which couldn’t handle this combination. Then we trailed it with the full desktop version of Adobe Acrobat Pro and it worked a treat. Unfortunately the client didn’t have that software so we signed them up to the online PDF convertor from Adobe and that isn’t handling it.

Do I understand correctly that you've used Send to send a file that you've uploaded to Acrobat.com? What happens when you send to your own email address? Are you able to click the link in that email, and access the file that way?
If you're unable to copy the email in the browser window after you've generated a public link, please clear the browser cache, and try again. Or, use a different web browser (for a list of supported browsers, see System requirements | Acrobat.com).

PDF and MSWord links don't work once published

I have created a four module course and published it using aggregate, it looks great except none of the links to the pdf or msword docs work. I have tried several suggestions, but nothing works when the course is launched on another computer. I get a path error when you click on the link.
Anyone have a helpful suggestion on how to get these to work.
One other note, when I go to publish the document Adobe tells me that I need to export the files...any idea how?

Adobe Captivate will show this warning message about needing to export the files any time that it detects you have linked to another file or document that is not one of those it normally exports automatically at publish time. It's really just reminding you that it's YOUR job to ensure that the files you are linking to are going to be in the right place when the published content is accessed by end users.
The best option is just to manually copy the files (in your case PDF etc) into the same publish folder location as the HTM and SWF files that Captivate creates. Then all you need to use as a relative file path is the name of the file itself.
One thing to check as to why the links are not working is that you have Flash Global Security set up to trust the publish folder location. Alternatively, upload your content to a web server and view it via a HTTP URL link. That usually means that Flash Global Security won't be an issue.

Pushed my site live, need to modify domain records for Gmail

Was able to push my site live and now the site domains in site settings has all the correct settings for
www.mydomain,com going to start page, mydomain.worldsecuresystems.com going to start page, mydomain.com forwarding to www.mydomain.com, and mydomain.businesscatalyst.com going to start page.
Somewhere in the process of connecting the domain name with the test site, i said that Gmail would be used. in the mx records listed in Site Domains in my BC dashboard show the 5 standard google servers (aspmx.l.google.com, alt2.aspmx.l.google.com, etc)
I added a CNAME record for mail.mydomain.com to point to ghs.googlehosted.com
now, when i browse to www.mydomain.com or mydomain.com i do see the site that i'm publishing through muse, that i pushed live.
when i go to mail.mydomain.com i get a google 'can't find' error. i'm thinking i just need to be patient, even thought the basic site stuff seems to direct correctly. if a BC person is looking at this, have i set this up correctly and just need to wait for it to catch?

I have checked the sites under your account and the mail domain seems to be working well for all of them.

I'm having the same issue with non-working iWeb Page links. This was the first site I built on my iWeb, and posted on my .mac account. Everything works on iweb, but once I "publish all to .mac", the links become inactive. I've reset and tried everything but can't figure out what the problem is. Check it out.

Links don't work and Resolution Low

Hi
Just made 2 temp pages for my site, published to a folder and used Transmit to FTP upload to my serverspace which is hosted by yahoo.
The files transfer over but for some reason none of the hyperinks work at all and the resolution of the page is much lower than how it looked in iWeb which was pretty crisp. Anyone experience this problem? I urgently need to get the links working. All help appreciated!

I've got a similar problem with links. They work fine on my mac and some pc, even my Palm Treo can access the site's links. But several pc users swear the links don't work. I made a test page with microsoft word and posted on .mac and it's the same problem. Anyone know what could cause this?

Dropdown menu links don't work when on certain page of my site

Hi guys,
I've created a site that has a dropdown menu.
However, when you go to a certain page on the site on a mobile device (tested on iPhone), the drop down links don't work.
You can check out the page here - if you go to this page on an iPhone, the Facility and Capacity buttons have dropdowns but the links don't work...
Does anyone have any thoughts as to what the problem might be?

Run the validator at http://validator.w3.org to get a listing of your 101 html errors (including structural defects).
Clean up those errors and see if that doesn't fix your issue.
If it doesn't, post back with the clean code and we can take a closer look.

Some links don't work in Safari

I ran a whole bunch of software updates a while ago (funny, after the entire process, nothing actually updated... I had to run it again later), and somehow, in the process, something went wrong with Safari. Now, some links don't work. It's mostly links in the content portions of webpages. For example, things like the Store/Mac/etc buttons at the top of the Apple site work fine, but things like links in forum signatures don't. I have to open them in a new tab. I tried updating Safari, but it didn't fix anything. I've tested Firefox and Camino and they work fine, but Safari is my browser of choice, so this is pretty irritating. Any ideas as to what's causing this and how to fix it?

You might try installing a fresh version of SafariStand and see if you still have the problem with dead links. I'm not familiar with the 'Quick Search' feature but you could have a look at Glims. Don't try to run both Glims and SafariStand together.

Some of my links don't work

Hi,
Two of my links don't work. I've done 'select all' and there is nothing covering them and they are not touching anything. If I move them right up the page they work. I've tried them on other pages as a test and in some places they work and others they don't even though they are not near or obscured by anything.
They are the two 'Read More' buttons towards the bottom of the home page: -

I tried putting your "Read more" image on a couple of test pages here:

They link back and forth and seem to work fine.
I copied it to a page, selected it, enabled as a hyperlink, chose "one of my pages" as the hyperlink, and then published to mobileme.
If that's a standard hand made menu at the bottom of your page I don't see why it would interfere.

Upgraded to CS5; TOC Links don't work in the created PDF from InDesign

We recently upgraded to CS5. When we convert our InDesign User Guide to PDF, the main TOC links don't work. The TOC does function from each chapter page but not from the main TOC. We have done our normal steps in Acrobat to link them. Same issue with various user guides that we have. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

My in-page html links don't work in Firefox.

This has been a problem for years now. Why don't in-page anchor links work? I'm just using html with Wordpad to create my pages, not any CSS.

Accordion Panels and List Menu don't work if I place html files in subfolders

Hi all,
Switched from Dreamweaver to Muse and I have very limited knowledge of code.
Not an IT expert and not a web developer this is just for my own site.
I have sub-folders in my site. All html files are inside sub-folders except index.
ie contact.html or products.html I move them manually from root to the subfolder, using the easy interface of Dreamweaver. I call the subfolder "en"
so I can have pages such as mysite.com/en/contact.html
In the subfolder I copy and paste from root the css, images and script folders,
keeping the original css/images/scripts as well, in the root, so index.html is not affected.
and same time the look of the html pages inside the subfolders does not change.
BUT
list menus and accordion panels don't work. I click and there is no movement
How can I solve this ? I know Muse does not allow the creation of subfolders,
everything is uploaded in the root.
When in Dreamweaver I had placed 50 pages in subfolders and I was indexing them in google and bing.
Now can't again put 50 pages in root and can't remove URLs and make new indexing for all these pages

Links don't work after publishing

Hi! I'm new to using IWeb and I have recently encountered a problem:
When I publish the content to a folder, the pages that I initially designed, don't appear exactly the same in the new folder. The links in the navigation menu don't work in the new folder (except the ones in the "home page") and some of the text is not displayed the way I designed it...
I'd appreciate if you could take a look at my website and try the navigation bar out to see that some of the navigation bar's links don't work. Why they work in the main page and 2 other and not in all of them?

I've got my fingers crossed! I think I've got it fixed! Thanks so much to you and everyone who's posted here. I DID have a text box within a text box and it was in the back(ground). This has just been so frustrating. This was my first shot at doing a web page....not to mention being new to the Apple arena. (I've had PCs, literally, for years). I appreciate your patience with someone learning the ins/outs of YOUR world.
