if i push an update to my app on the app store today and then push another update after 2 days, will the apps be published within 2 days of one another or will the second update take 5-7 days after the first update is published

You don't. It's how things are done now, likely to accommodate those that have auto update turned on. IT's been said that the updates will just drop off after a period of time but time will tell on that.

my macbook pro hard drive crashed while running an OS software update. I had purchased lion then mountain lion software updates a while back and so my system was running on mountain lion.
Now that i have replace my hard drive, i cannot find the purchased updates / apps on my appstore! why is that and how can I restore those updates?You didn't mention if you clicked on the "Purchases" icon.

How do you access updates to apps from the App store after changing to a new ID because the password on the old ID was changed by the former husband and you don't know what it is now? And you set up your own new ID and account but can NOT access the updates, from the App store for the many apps that you already have, because they require that you sign in with that former now inaccessible ID and account and password? Call it a problem of modern times and changing relationships, if you want to be charitable.
So I guess it will only be new apps that I download that are allowed to give me their updates while 13 updates wait for me on an ID I can no longer access.

In the future, if need be, you can re download your purchases for free > Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

Updated my iPhone 5 to ios7, in the App store after installing updates I now have a never ending list of the Apps I've updated. How do I get rid of the list after they've been updated? In the previous version I did not have an annoying permanent list.
iOS 7 allows you to have your apps update automatically. Therefore, the list of what has been updated stays so that you can see what was updated, when and what the release notes say. It has been suggested that they list has a limit, much like Recents. Currently, there is no way for the user to delete the entries manually. Just try not to look at them.

HT1338 Update to OS X 10.8.4 keeps showing in the App Store after reboot
What do I do when I click "update" in the App Store for 10.8.4 and when the computer restarts, the update is still listed in the updates tab? The hard drive is still showing as 10.8.3. I have done this 5 or 6 times and every time I click the update button, the site says the computer must restart. The computer restarts and then the App Store opens and the 10.8.4 update is still listed in the Updates tab and the App Store icon still has the "1" on it in the dock. I'm thinking maybe the update files didn't download properly, because I got a few network errors during a few of the update attempts. I downloaded the manual update .dmg file, but I have no idea how to perform a manual update. Please help!
The Mac App Store version sometimes fails, so if you can't install 10.8.4 from the Mac App Store, download and install OS X 10.8.4 from the Apple website.
As you have already downloaded this DMG, just open it, so you will see a Finder window where you will have to double-click the PKG you can see. Finally, follow the steps of the installer and you will have to restart your MacBook Pro after installing OS X 10.8.4 -

Why do I have two icons for iMovie '11 after downloading the update from the App Store? Previously I had iMovie '09.
Do you see two versions of iMovie in your Application folder?
You can drag the icons out of the dock and then drag what you want back to the dock from the Application folder.

Any update will cause problems for a few users. And those users will rush here and post "the sky is falling" stories about their experience. The 99.99% of people who have no problems after an update won't bother to post here; indeed, most of them don't even know ASC exists. FWIW, I had no problems with iOS 7 on my 4S. Your problem is most likely not related to iOS 6, but you should probably update anyway. Do you have a song or podcast in iTunes that did not finish downloading? If you do - finish that one first. The apps will not update until that download is complete.
If that doesn't do it - sign out of your account - Settings>Store>Apple ID - sign out. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign in again and see if you can tap on one app and start the download. -
I have I movie 10.0.03 on My Mac On Friday there was an update on the App store which crashed Mid Download, Now when I try and retry the download I get the Following error message,This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled< has anyone else had this problem?? I have 3 Iphone 4's. One of them updates from the App Store with no issues. My other two which are under the same AppleID will not let me do updates. when I try it asks for my Credit card info then after i enter it it says "security code invalid". Has anyone else had this issue and how have you fixed it?

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

I bought a Mac Book Pro retina display, Serial Number C02J*****2, on 8/11/2012. Unfortunately, I am unable to download updates from the App store.Whenever I tried to download updates, it shows me an error message, "we could not complete your request. there is an error in the App Store. Try again later (100). Your Apple ID has been disabled, contact iTune support". However,the problem still persists even after my password has been successfully reset. What is is the error in the app store? I really need help to resolve this issue.
Moreover,I also need help how to update to the mountain lion free of charge as my Mac pro is four(4) days old.

HT201064 Fresh Mavericks install, iPhoto installed from DVD - won't update via the App Store
Hi all
I did a fresh install of Mavericks, then installed a few apps from the App store.
I then remembered iPhoto etc. that I have from the original install discs (2012 MBP)...but whilst iPhoto says an update is available (9.5.1), and launches the App store it won't show as an update via the App store.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advance.Sadly you're mistaken. A 2012 MacBook Pro has no install DVDs. Apple stopped issuing install disks with new Macs soon after the permanent advent of the Mac App Store with OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Additionally, the version of the iLife apps; iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand that last came on install disks are not the Mac App Store (MAS) versions and are not compatible with being updated through the MAS.
The apps from that old disk that you have from another Mac may be updatable however, using the Software Update facility in the Apple menu.
