Pushing hung iDoc from R/3 to BW

Hi,
We have been experiencing problems with our Master Data loads continuously for the past few days. "One" of the scenarios is the MD records load (which can be seen in the Monitor) but the status is still yellow and it just stays hung. It does not change to green. Our team has had to cancel is and manually load it again to go around this problem. Someone from the team suggested that there is a way to re-push the iDoc that seems to be hung and in yellow status. Is there such a way? Can it be done using t-code WE05? Step-by-step instructions will be appreciated. Points will be awarded for useful tips.
Thanks!

Hi,
Alternatively if the problem is with the tRFC and not the IDoc, you can try SM58, highlight the tRFC from the file menu path, select EDIT > execute LUW.  Hope this works.

  • Problem when pushing IDOC from SAP to XI

    Hi,
I am trying to push an IDOC from SAP R/3 system to XI. When I processed the IDOC using test tool(WE19), it's showing message that IDOC sent succesfully to R/3 or External system. But in SM58 Transaction it gave error message that in Trabsaction IDX1: some RFC connection error. Then I opened the Transaction IDX1 on XI server, in that IDOC Adapter configuration I gave RFC destination, Logical system name of R/3 and saved it. Now When I tried again to push IDOC from R/3 to it's not giving any error message(in SM58), but I am not able to see any thing in SXMB_MONI. Can anybody guess what's happening? And also I am using fresh newly installed XI server. DO I need to configure something else? All RFC connections are well defined and working fine.

    Hi,
It is not required to create Sender Agreement for the Idoc to XI scenario. Because it is implicitly exists.
Can u check Receiver Determination  created in the XI once again. And also check for RFC destinations created in the R/3.
    Hope it helps ..

  • Problem in  Outbound IDOC from SAP R/3

    Hi,
I am working on to send an IDOC from SAP R/3 to XI.
I configured all necessary things as follows:
    1. Created for XI in sender system -- RFC dest, PORT and a partner profile with an outbound parameters and reciever port as XI port.
    2. created for sender system in XI -- RFC dest, PORT(as SAP<SID>) in IDX1 and assigned an idoc type(coming from sender system) to the port.
Now I am trying to push the IDOC from sender system using Test IDOC transaction and gets success message as data is passed to port.
My problem is I am not able to see any message in SM58 of XI server.
    Could anyone help me out?
    Thanks In Advance.
    Yaseen.

    Yasseen,
you hardly see the idocs in Xi in sm58. Try sxmb_moni.
If you see anything there try sm58 on the sending R/3. There you see if you have connection problems (eg authorization in XI or missing receiver determinitions).
    Hope it hellps,

    maintain Rfc destinations,maintain port,partner profile,distribution model....
But when i am pushing the reduced idoc from sender it's showing the status 03.when i am running RBDMOIND in se38 still it is not getting converted into 12.
kindly help me how can I convert the status from 03 to 12.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Naresh
you have to create the service. Create first the technical system and the business system in the SLD. Look for the right "Logical System" (Transation SALE in R3).
In the Integration Builder Directory go to "Environment/Clear SLD Data" and create the service by "Objects/Service without party/Business System/Assign Business System".
Hope this will solve your Querry

  • "An IdocException occurred" while posting Idocs from SAP ECC to SAP PI AEX

    Hi all,
While sending Idocs from SAP ECC to SAP PI 7.4 AEX, we are experiencing this issue at SAP ECC-SM58
Only a particular Idoc type is having this issue.
Below are the checks done before posting this query:
    1. Pushed other Idocs from the SAP ECC to PI and all were getting exchanged successfully.
    2. Reloaded the meta data in PI for  the particular Idoc type in issue.
    3. Checked the RFC destinations in SAP ECC, RFC connection test is also working fine.
    4. Unicode option enabled in the SAP ECC RFC destination pointing to PI-AEX
    5. Restarted the inboundRA service in PI AEX.
Is there anything still missing. What could be root cause of this issue.
If anyone has encountered it before, pleases share the resolution.
    Thank you

    hi krishnamoorthy,
i hve created one RFC in my R/3 system which is pointing to Xi-DEV. So, in the RFC I have used my XI user id & password for loging and the RFC is wrking fine when I am testing tht. I have used my id "XISUPER" in that RFC and it is not locked in XI-DEV. I have not used user id "XI_APPLUSER" anywhere.

  • How to configure, push and test Idoc from XI to R/3

Assuming mapping between imported Idoc and some file structure is fine ,I have to configure XI and R/3 for pushing Idocs from Xi to r/3. I have to make sure they talk.
-I have done this long time ago for pushing Idocs from R/3 to XI but I wonder if it is same procedure or it is different ?
-Can someone tell me  - how to configure both for this purpose partner profiles , logical systems etc ?
-And also after configurations , how I can check if Idocs is received from Xi and the entire process is successful?
-does it make difference the type of Idocs during the configurations?
-Are the test for success same for all type Idocs?
    Thanks all !
    Jon

    Here are the steps:
    ===========================
First - Maintain the Sender R/3 System:
SM59 : Create a RFC destination to XI
WE21 : Create a TRFC Port ->Specify the RFC Destination Created
BD54 : Create a Logical System for the Idoc Receiver
WE20 : Create Partner Profile ->Maintain Outbound and the Inbound Parameters
Second - Log on to XI System:
SM59 : RFC Destination for Sender System
IDX1 : Create the port to get Idoc Metadata from Sender System ( The Port Name must match the port name in the idoc header - Usually in format SAP<System ID>. eg. SAPID1 [Optional Step. Not mandatory]
IDX2 : Maintain the Idoc Metadata. This is needed only by XI, and not by other SAP systems. IDX2 is needed because XI needs to construct IDoc-XML from the IDoc. No other SAP system needs to do that.
    To Enable Acknowledgement:
SXMB_ADM ->Integration Engine Configuration ->Specific Configuration ->Add New entry -> Select parameters as:
    Category: RUNTIME
    Parameters: ACK_SYSTEM_FAILURE
    Current Value: 1

  • Interface scenario: idocs from r/3 to XI

    Business Scenario is as follows:
    1. We,the client, is R/3 and would post IDOCS forward.
    2. These would go to XI/PI platform, which would send it forward as idoc xml or idoc
it thru to XGS (EDI handling system, optional i.e. only in certain cases) towards B2B (intelli-agency who say they can handle idocs). XGS is connected to B2B via AS2.
    3. First B2B would then remap for TMS (who have their own Transport Mgmt System) and deliver to TMS.
TMS send it to customers and receive PODs (proof of delivery) and send information or shipments back to client R/3 via the same route.
I want step wise procedure to handle the interfacing from r/3 to XI and from XI to B2B.
for e.g. for delivery (outbound), we need to use idoc TPSSHL which would be posted to XI.
please let me know how can i do this from R/3. (i need the steps).
I am completely new to interfacing and would need a step-wise approach of how to deal with this scenario
and write down the interface specifications for the technical team to work upon.
If you can help with some information, documents, real examples, etc. it would be great.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Problem Outbound IDOC from R/3 to XI

    Hi,
I am working on to send an IDOC from SAP ECC6 to XI.
Now I am trying to push the IDOC MATMAS from BD10 by RSEOUT00 and gets the following message in SM58 :
"TRANSACTION IDX1 : port SAP<SID>, client number, destination transaction error"
For me, i've done the configuration correctly and i don't know why it's speaking about IDX1...
    Could anyone help me out?
    Thanks In Advance.

Please check your SLD for SAP system.Did you create Business system for client 800 ? .And did you give proper logical system in SLD?.
Check the following steps in XI.
1.RFC Destination from xi to SAP R/3(SM59)
    2.Port in IDX1
3.Importing of Idoc metadata in IDX2.

  • Configuration steps to Trigger IDOC from R/3 to XI

    Hi All,
I have read several forums ,
and i am in confusion to follow which one of them.
Let me describe the process of configuration steps in r/3 and XI in step by step and correct me when i am wrong.
    Steps in R/3
    1)  Goto SALE.
       Basic settings->Logical Systems->Define logical system.
Create two logical systems(one for XI and the other for R3)
Basic settings->Logical Systems->Assign logical system to client.
Assign the R3 logical system to respective client.
Assign the XI logical system to respective client.
Whether i need to create  logical sys name only for r/3 or both for r/3 and XI?
    2)Goto SM59.
Create new RFC destination of type 3(Abap connection).
Give a suitable name and description.
Give the Ip address of the XI system.

Give the gateway host name and gateway service (3300 + system number).
Go to the logon security tab.
Give the lang, client, username and password.
       Test connection and remote logon.
Gateway service can be sapgw<sys number> or it should be 3300+sys number?
    3)Goto WE21.
Create a port under transactional RFC.(R3->XI)
Designate the RFC destination created in prev step.
Port name should be in the form of SAP+SID of XI or it can be anyting?
    4) Goto BD64.
       Click on Create model view.
       Add message type.
Is it necessary to create a Distribution model and distribute it ?
    5) Goto WE20
        Goto WE20.
        Partner type LS.
        Create a partner profile
Give the outbound or inbound message type based on the direction.
    Steps in XI
    1)  Goto SALE.
       Basic settings->Logical Systems->Define logical system.
Create one logical systems(only for R3)
Basic settings->Logical Systems->Assign logical system to client.
Assign the R3 logical system to respective client.
Whether i need to create once again logical sys name for r/3 ?
    2) Goto SM59
Create new RFC destination of type 3(Abap connection).
Give a suitable name and description.
Give the Ip address of the XI system.

    3)Goto IDX1.
Create a port under transactional RFC.(XI->R3)
Designate the RFC destination created in prev step.
Port name should be in the form of SAP+SID of R3 or it can be anyting?
    Step 4)Goto IDX2
      Create a new Meta data.
    Give the Idoc type.
    Select the created port.
Is it neccessary to create a medata?

then it hits the XI after couple of minutes and then
Go to the XI in that IDX5 where you can see the IDOC messages....

  • Posting idocs from R/3 to xi

    dear all,
i want to do one scenario of posting INVOIC idocs from R/3 to XI. I have gone thru some of the blogs posted in SDN but didn't find any step by step guide for doing it.
Can anybody send me the link or sme document for the above said scenario.
    Warm regards,
    N.Jain

    Sent/Receive IDOC:
you need to do the following:
    In XI
    SM59 - R3 connection pointing to R3
IDX1 - define the port with the above dest.
    In R3
    SM59 - R3 connection pointing to XI
WE21 - define the port with the above dest.
    WE20 - Partner profile type outbound/Inbound

  • Send IDOC from XMII to SAP

    Hi All,
I want to send an IDOC from xMII to SAP. Can anyone suggest me the steps and how to configure in SAP and xMII.
    thanks
    Manoja

    Hi,
What ever Dipankar Saha said is correct.
SAP xMII is used for the purpose of connecting ERP and shop floor.
Usually from R/3 system, you can get info in the form of idoc.(through other forms also you can get data. I hope that you have got the data through idoc)
From shop floor, you get data in the form of B2MML.
If you want some data back to ERP, you can use JCO interface present in the
business logic editor. Use this, to find correct BAPI which can push some data into ERP.
Link the data from B2MML field to BAPI field.
Save this transaction and call this where you want.
    Hope this may help you...
