Pushing out a billing date through a project - affect the pricing in a SO
Hello
I have two sales orders for a customer with same terms of payment, pricing procedure and everything almost similar except dates (say billing dates). the company is mainly using project systems. they are using billing plans. even the billing plans, billing types are also same.
The Issue is that, for one sales order it picking the Gross Value (present in document header -> Condition tab) as Net Value for the sales order. However for the another sales order it is picking the Total (present in document header -> Condition tab) as Net Value for the sales order.
Can anyone please explain me why the system is behaving like that, what is the mistake I did. I want the system to pick total value.

Check this
Goto the billing plan tab in the corresponding line item and check the rule that is determined. Now go to the configuration of this rule table by using the path
SPRO>SD> Billing> Billing Plan> Define rules for determining dates and choose your Applicable rule and click on the details.
There you will see the Calendar ID field where you will have to maintain the applicable factory calendar. I think this should work and your billing date on the item relevant for billing plan should be the same as the other item.

Billing date is for Monday for the orders created on Saturday and Sunday
Hi Friends,
I have an issue,that for the orders that are created on weekdays, the Billing date is for the same day.
But for the orders that are created on Saturday and Sunday,the Billing date is being determined automatically for Monday.
The goods are service material and ther is no delivery being created for these goods.Still the requested delivery date is being determined for Monday for the weekend orders.
Any idea where i can check these settings or which program or userexit can be looked into for this.

Billing date is not populating into the sales order
Hi Experts,
I am creating the sales orders by filling the IDOC's Segment data from a file. Sales orders are getting created however the BILLING DATE is not getting populated by the date from file instead it is taking the system date.
Segments used are
Header: E1EDK03 016 021 and 026.
Item: E1EDP03 016 021 and 026.
Please help me in this regard.

I want to make a textbook for a small class. I do not need to go through the whole process of submitting it to I Tunes. I just put the book on my server and download it to my I pad. Is there a way that I can push updates to my book via this method.
The reason I am trying to work this out is because we are excited about trying to write our own textbooks at school and save the district some $$. However, we are not sure that we want the books put up on I tunes for all to use, that is why I was trying to find a way around this. Maybe I am going about this all wrong, is there a way to limit who would have access to download a book. Then that would solve my version problem and keep the books only in the district. I know you can limit by region, but the United States is a rather large region. I would like to narrow down that a little.

Each of the tables having 1 and only one primary key and a few NOT NULL columns.
Now my Query selects from A,B,C,D,V with mapping Table A columns with all other Table(B,C,D,V) Primary Key Columns using Left Outer Join.

In this case will the query design effect the Performence???... As this query is taking a long time. As for as Indexes are there on these tables only default Indexes due to Primary, Unique as well as Foreign key only.... Hence table structure is very simple and straight. I need a suggession in such a manner that without making changes to the Table (I am not even allowed to include a single Index to them) ...can the query be modified to optimise the performence??Each change to a query can effect the performance.
Your query looks straight and simple. Maybe you could increase the performance by simply removeing the order by criteria.
This requires a sort and a sort can be slow, especially when the resulting dataset is very large.
If there are indexes on all foreign keys and you join using those FKs then there should be no problem with the index structure.
I can't say whether it would be better to use an index or not. but you can look at the execution plan and check what the CBO wants to do.
Make sure that all statistics are up to date. You could consider to run an additional dbms_stats.gather_table_stats with compute in the test environment, just to see if the execution plan changes after this.

Third Party process - billing date change in Sales order / Customer Invoice
Dear Friends,
In Third Party Sales Process , as we are aware billing is order related billing and it will become due only after vendor invoice is received.
My situation is in the original sales order billing date is eg: 01.02.2009 . The subsequent vendor invoice ( Invoice receipt done based on PR --> and PO) has a later date eg: 05.02.2009 .
This means that the customer biling can be done only after this date.
How the system behaves in this case wrt to the billing date ( 01/02/2009) of the original sales order.

Thanx all for your responses . But my case is a bit peculiar . Here the vendor invoice is coming by IDoc through EDI . When EDI flow is confirmed, the billing date is pushed ahead. As per billing calendar in CMR the customer can be invoiced only on the last date of the month.
As a result if the original billing date in the sales order is Feb end, when vendor invoice received through EDI , the billing date is shifting to march end .
Is it because the date of vendor invoice is causing this? Obviously the customer billing date falls only after vendor invoice date.

So for i can able to maintain data in two ways either directly or through F4 help. when i supply data through F4 help, on the F4 help window im providing the value and clicking on continue button. when i press on the contine button it has to update the Derived C-Alpha code if all the required fields filled. Now the problem is when i clicking on continue button of F4 help window im displaying error message. when i try to change the value or try to fill the required fields so for im clicking on F4 button then its directly taking me out from the transaction. If i press on any key also samething is happening but the same is not happening when i supplied the value directly and saving. Please let me know the reason and help me for the same with needful solution. If anyting required plz ask me i wil provide u.

Create a macro in Excel to capture Data from MS Project
We have a standard reporting tool which presents data in the format that our Head Office require. I currently copy/paste data from MS Project into the Excel spreadsheet however I would prefer to set up a macro in the Excel work to get the data from
the MS Project file however the macro only seems to pick up from the "paste" command.
Is it possible to set up a macro in Excel to copy data from MS Project?

Receiving data through TCP Socket

Billing date for return orders
Hi,
when creating return order (RE), without reference to any SD document, the billing date is default as current date.
But, when I create the return order, with reference to a billing document, the billing date is scheduled, based on the lead times etc..
I want to have it default as current date, with reference or not.. where/how is this configured?

BILLING DATE GETTING COPIED FROM PGI...

I have got an incident,user is stating that she recently found that the billing date is getting copied from the PGI dat and that was not configured earlier...so i jus want to show her that it is working as per conigured...so can you please suggest where can i show her that the billing date is picking the PGI dat?? where is the configuration settings done for that?? or any programme debugging need to be done?? if so ..pls help ..My ABAP'ER is not efficient in this it seems.....

users main problem is with proforma invoices..... when i have checked few proforma invoices,i found for few invoices its picking Planned GI date and for few invoices its picking Actual GI date...when i tried the same in the development server, i found that the system is picking the actual GI date....the routine mentioned in copy controls is 009 which is standard....checked in "changes" of invoice to see if any manual changes are done..didnt find any.i am not understanding the way system is behaving....
But this is not the case for normal F2 invoice...the system is picking Actual GI date only.
Kindly advice as i need to respond user immediately....its already too late...

How can i send Comments field data through IDOC HRMD_A06-E1P0035?

We need to post the legacy system data for infotype IT0035 using IDOC - HRMD_A06-E1P0035 to the SAP R/3 system.In this segment (E1P0035) there no field for the 'comments' to send the data. Pls let us know, is there any way to pass data through E1P0035 segment for the 'comments' field of IT0035?

Comment fields in infotypes are not stored in the infotype-tables itself, but in PCL1-Cluster TX.
In Standard-SAP there is no way to pass this via ALE. Even the infotype-table-field ITXEX, which say that there is any textfield present, is clear in ALE.
If you really need to transfer this data, you have to do ALE-amplifications.

Billing Date Change Using IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS

We create a sales Order using IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS. The billing date has a default value of sy-datum. We need to change the billing date during idoc processing. The new date is pases to the xvbak structure but is not overwriting in the order. Any ideas?

I belive you mentioned passing sy-datum. If so
Why can't you implement same logic in idoc user exit. Let me know what kind of issue you are facing.

I need the billing date to be only in the current month period
i.e. the user can create billing doc only in the current months period range if he wants to.
ALso if this is not possible i need to restrict the user to not create the billing doc. in the future date
but if he wants to do the billing doc in the past it should be from the current month date range

that the billing date should not be in the "future date" and if its in back date it
should be only upto in the current month
eg:Suppose today is 10th of september then user can't enter billing date as 11 or 12 sept
but he can enter date upto 1st of september.
I wanna map this in SAP.
