Put kt3 in new case, now 4 reds on d-bracket

Basically i just got a new case, and after i swapped everything, the d-bracket indicates cpu failure. The system powers on, all fans spin etc, but no POST. I have tried a new power supply and the old one also. I am using an XP 1800+, 1 dimm of 512mb 333 ram, with thermaltake copper cooler. I will try cleaning the grease off and re-applying, and also will try to boot with an xp 2800 I have at work. This system has run perfectly for over a year, until the new case. I am always very careful in working inside pc's, I just hate to buy a new processor if that isnt the problem.

Yes, the 1800+ worked when i put it in the work machine, so I know it isnt bad. I have now spent about 12 hours reseating the processor, adding and removing cards, switching power supplies, both with ide components in and out of the loop. On top of that, after i tested the 1800+ in my work machine, now it wont start either. Im thinking these will be my last amd purchases. 2 dead machines in 24 hours is more than i can take.
Both systems are totally different, the work machine being on a gigabyte board. The memory is the same for both 333mhz corsair 512k's on one stick each. Yes i have tried different memory and moved the slot it was in. Today i brought my circuit tester to see if all 3 power supplies just happened to go bad at once.
If i cant figure out the problem today I will by an asus board to hold me over until I can afford the switch to the pricer p4 platforms.

Swapped all my Early 2005 2.7 ghz to a new case now nothing

I had a damaged Power Mac G5 2.7 ghz and it was working but the cd drive would not work due to the damage. I have a different case and have swapped every componet except the power switch/firewire module and the wire harness behind the logic board. The case I went to was not a liquid cooled G5 so is the wire harness different between the two?? I have the fans turn on at slow speed but no chime or video. I have reset the PMU as well. I have taken macbook pro laptops apart completely and put them back together with no issues so I thought a desktop should be a piece of cake but here i am sitting in limbo hoping for an easy fix......Suggestions?? I plan on taking it all apart again and making sure everything is plugged in... Should I swap out the wire harness as well?? And, I've recently read that instead of the Viton O-Rings, Aquarium Silicone being successfully used, it can stand upto 500°F, is non cunductive, lasts 10 years or more, & has no additives like Arsenic to prevent mold & such!

Your Apple ID can have up to 10 devices and computers (combined) associated with it. Each computer must also be authorized using the same Apple ID. Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days.
Note: Removing a device from your Apple ID does not override the 90 day timer. The timer must complete 90 days from the day the device was associated before it can be associated to another Apple ID.

(I don't know if this is because it doesnt accpet my password, or I forgot my password in less than 5 minutes, or because when i typed in my new password, i typed it in wrong twice)

What I don't understand is why it is rejecting a password I am creating.
Perhaps the password you are creating is too short, or has characters that are not allowed, or is not secure enough because it is a word in a dictionary.
FileVault may have standards for what it considers an acceptable password. If the password is part of the 128-bit encryption scheme, it might have to be 16 characters, for example. (Don't know if that is true, but it's a possibility.) Check your documentation for password requirements.

Re-sync your apps and content from iTunes on your computer or redownload it from the iTunes Store, then restore from your backup:

I think you better check with Customer Service, make sure that they are all numbers rather than having any letters. 0 the number can look like O the letter.

It may not have anything to do with the RAM, or it might.
Not enough to go by to say for certain, and the blunt "get new RAM" doesn't address how to troubleshoot or resolve most likely.
Was it installed properly?
How much did you install?
Make? vendor.
Try running with just the new RAM.
Run Apple Hardware Test - boot 'd' key on startup, you may need your OEM Install DVD.
Run Rember and/or Memtest utility to test memory, or TechTool Deluxe.
When a computer restarts on its own it often means there was a kernel panic or something and damage to files, directory, journal and in need of repair, booting off your DVD or another drive to repair the drive, delete some files, turn journaling off and then on.

KT3 Ultra2-R no boot/no beep D-Bracket 1&2 Red

I assembled a system with a KT3 Ultra2-R and an AMD XP 2100+ with 300W CodeGen-PSU.
The system ran well for 4 weeks without any crashes. Because i had the noisy AMD-boxed CPU-cooler, i installed a very silent noiseblocker-CPU-cooler. The first power-on bootet up to initialization of raid-controller an then the system hang.
The next boot, nothing happened: black screen, no beep, nothing. Only the fans are running. I reassembled the hole system x-times now, all with the same result.
I even changed the mobo to a brand new one -> same problem. I changed PSU to a 420 W -> same problem.
The D-Bracket says: 1 & 2 red, 3 & 4 green ("Initializing Hard Drive Controller"). The same result when i deattach everything from the board except PSU (yes: everything). No beep at all...
How can a brand new mobo and a brand new PSU with nothing else attached the same problem as the first mobo with my old PSU?
I have not changed the CPU or Ram yet, but how can the problem be there, when the error occurs when these parts are not attached.
What should the D-Bracket show, when I power on an empty mobo with PSU?

a new cpu (now only a XP 1800+) took me one step ahead: windows xp is now coming up with a message (white on black) saying that the system tried starting unsuccessfully last time. then there is a choice how to boot now. but even if i choose "safe mode", the pc is booting again...
also, i cant get the floppy to work. in bios, the mobo says, its an 1,44 flopp (correct) but i dont get it in the boot order or boot menu.
so i cant install windows new, because raid-drivers are on the boot disk X(
another hard disk with installed windows xp also comes up the the scrren mentioned above and then hangs with a cursor blinking in the left top cursor of the screen.
i tried another graphic-card: an old "Interactive 3dfx Magix Twin Power": the pc beeps once long an then 3 times short on power on but keeps on booting.
the result is the same as above (pc hangs).

This issue is blocking my access to iTunes and any other file from my home computer. It keeps on telling me that I have to autorise my computer to pass on files, yet, it seems, for all this to happen, I need to get logged in through the phone's Apple ID. This of course is different to my one on my computer - and I have no password for it.
This phone is not stolen!! I payed still a fair bit for it. Am still in contact with the previous owner. He doesn't know how to fix the problem either.
Would appreciate any suggestion ????

Settings>general>resets>erase all content and settings.
That will put it back to its out of the box state. Set it up with your own apple Id.

Error 8062 when I try to copy or move files on my macbook: "This operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8062)". Can even not install new software now!!

Since a few days when I try to copy or move files on my macbook, I often get an error message saying "This operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occured (error code -8062)". And then it just quits the copy or move.
I searched a lot on the internet, but only found solutions for cases you cannot empty the trash due to this issue.
I tried those solutions for my trash and that helped after some trying.
However, I still have the problem with copying and moving files.
I even cannot install new software now, as it has to copy itself to the programs-directory, and gives the same error-message.
Who can help me??

My user-account is administrator, I use a 13" Macbook Aluminium (Late 2008). Mac OS X 10.6.8 CPU 2Ghz Intel Core Duo, RAM: 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3.

- make sure you have at least 10% of your harddisk in free space (I had only 5%).
- do a PRAM-reset (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379)
- perform a hardware test (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509)
- make a complete backup (with for example Carbone Clone Copier, see http://www.bombich.com/)
- after complete backup: use diskwarrior (boot from Diskwarrior DVD, first perform diagnostics, then perform "Rebuild" which rebuilds your file directory).
So far I only cleared up some space on my HD, and already the problem occurs less.
Still, I will go through the other tips too.

Unfortunately, in your case, there isn't really a way to separate them as far as I can think.
You could try restoring from a backup, and choosing an older backup perhaps
