Put managers at the top of the position lists

Hi all,
Is it possible to put managers at the top of the position lists in the position hierarchy view?
Product: OrgChart SP2
This is what I did in OrgChart: [http://i.imgur.com/SpUcI.jpg]
This is what I get: http://i.imgur.com/4pIVq.jpg
As you see , the manager hat position is at the very bottom, not the top.
Any thoughts.

Hi Jacques,
Are you using Live or Staged? It would be worth changing the ordering in the hierarchy configuration for the position hierarchy and the employee hierarchy that is used in each orgchart that you are using, assuming you are using both Organization Structures. These are SAPOrgUnitOrgChartTypeSHierarchy.xml and SAPOrgUnitEmployeeOrgChartTypeSHierarchy.xml in the AppResources\hierarchyconfiguration folder. Make sure to copy them to your .delta\AppResources\hierarchyconfiguration folder before changing them.
In the Staged you can create some ordering in the database that can get this working, but for Live it can be more tricky.
Best regards,
Luke

  • Where is the difference between Positive Liste and BP Release in SPL?

    Hi Folks,
    Where is the difference between setting a Business Partner on a
    Positive or Negative List and release or block a business partner in SPL?
    I thought that should be almost the same. Hope you can clarify it.
    Thanks
    Regards
    Dieter

    Hi Dieter,
    The difference is the following:
    If you put a partner on a negative or positive list it no longer gets screened. so, unless you screen the positive or negative list explicitly, the partner is no longer screened, and of course the one on the positive list is never blocked and the other one always free.
    If you release a Partner the Partner then the following happens (depending on the customizing).
    1. If you do not have set the memory function in the customizing then the partner stays unblocked until you launch a new screening run and, if it gets hit against a list entry, it will be blocked again
    2. If you do have the Memory function ticked in the customizing then the partner gets screened and released when you do a screening run (in contrary to the positive and negative list it does get screened, but automatically released). But if there is a new or changed entry that matches with the released partner, the partner gets blocked.
    Regards,
    Marc

  • Using the wish list inside the app store

    The "wish list" feature in the App Store is great.  It's a bookmark, when it comes down to it.  The feature works today and darned if I cannot find a place to find it.  My bookmarks have fallen to the cutting room floor and appear like a needle in a haystack.
    First, a question to lead the discussion...
    Where's my needle?  How does one view the wish list?  Has it already been broadcast to my family for Christmas?  ( too soon? )
    Now, the discussion!
    With such a great feature, what shall we encourage Apple do?
    Here's a list for starters:
    Remember when I put things on the wish list, so that I can look at the same set from the same time.
    Why?  I'd love to be able to get to a new game on my tablet quickly — having that urge on the daily commute home, for instance.
    Allow me to sort, group and send lists and parts of lists to various people.
    " Here's my birthday list, mom...and you might like that cooking app – we can cook together now! "
    Tell me when my wishes have come true ( however I want ) and install all the good stuff automagically ( as long as I say it's okay )
    Cheers,
    //\\/\ark.

    We are not Apple, so we don't know. You'll know when we know.

  • BP Address/Name change when on Positive List

    Hi,
    I am new to GTS and need some help in one of the issue we are working on.
    We added few business partners to Positive list so they can be skipped on our weekly SPL screenings.
    What happens if some data (address/name etc) is changed for the BP on the positive list?
    Will it be automatically removed from positive list and be checked against SPL? or Do we need to manually delete the BP from the positive list?
    If it is a manual process then it would be too difficult to maintain on daily basis like watch for BP's on positive list and see if there is any data changed etc.
    Is there any automated process that allows us to remove the BP's from positive list if some thing changed?
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks
    Venkat

    Hi Venkat,
    You need to screen the BPs on the positive list at regular intervals. Transaction /SAPSLL/SPL_CHECK_SCEN_B1P_LO.
    Screening of the positive list BPs will take into account any updated address details and it will allow you to reconsider the positive list status of each BP as you see fit.
    Example scenario:
    BP 112233 is on the positive list
    BP details get changed. New details remain unchecked due to positive list status.
    Users use transaction /SAPSLL/SPL_CHECK_SCEN_B1P_LO "Check Business Partner Periodically in the Positive List".
    System offers a "real" screening result and the user is then allowed to decide whether or not BP 112233 should remain on the positive list.
    Without screening the BPs on the positive list at regular intervals the system may overlook partner details that would normally lead to a block.
    Please test this functionality in one of your test systems. Just follow my provided example scenario.
    Best Regards,
    Eoin

  • ITunes DJ just puts songs at the top of the list

    Ok, something which is really annoying me is that if you want to play a song in iTunes DJ, it just puts it at the top of the list, and all the songs which were before it are still in their place. I want to select a song to play, and start from there as the top of the list, skipping all the songs before it, like what happened in Party Shuffle. Is there any way to do this? Any Applescripts or hidden settings? Thanks for any help

  • What do I do with the dll files I was told to put on my desk top when unistalling itunes due to R6034 problems?

    What do I do with dll files I was told to put on my desk top when uninstalling itunes due to a R6034 problems when installing a new update.

    Have you successfully reinstalled iTunes, wc180? If so, and if everything's working right now, it should be safe to delete those dll files on the desktop now.

  • Why can't I change the position of the 'Top Collections' feature box?

    In Public Site Manager I can select or de-select and change the position (ordering) of all the feature boxes on my provider page except for 'Top Collections'. As a result of this 'Top Collections' remains fixed at the bottom of the page. I'd like to move it to the top of the page so it's the first feature box that users see. What gives?
    Options in Public Site Manager (notice there is no option to select or move 'Top Collections')
    iTunes U Provider Page (notice that 'Top Collections' is at the bottom of the page)

    Hi Julie
    Thanks for the reply.
    I can move the 'Top Downloads' box but not the 'Top Collections' box.
    I don't use the What's New feature box so unfortunately I can't comment on that. In regards to the ordering in custom feature boxes I think it's no longer possible order the items. Or rather you can order the icons in Public Site Manager but in iTunes it orders them automatically by 'Most Popular', 'Name' or 'Release Date', with Most Popular being the default option. I do have my doubts, however, about the reliability of the 'Most Popular' ordering. I know for a fact that there are many collections / downloads on my iTunes U site which are way more popular than those that iTunes deems to be the most popular.

  • When I make a contact sheet on Iphoto is it possible to put a title on top of the page, that is not a title of one of the photos?

    Is it possible to put a title on top of the page in a contact sheet on Iphoto?

    No.  But you can create a text file for TextEdit, Word, Pages or other text application that you use, put a title at the top and print it on the already printed contact sheet.  Just make the top margin in iPhoto's contact layout  large enough so the title can be printed there by the other app.

  • Mail Icon won't stay in the position in the dock where I put it

    I have a very strange happening on my iMac (OSX 10.5.5). The mail icon in my dock won't stay in the position where I put it. After a few seconds, it moves to the last position in the dock (before the dashed line). If my dock is at the bottom of screen, the mail icon moves to right just before the dashed line. If my dock is on the right side of screen, the mail icon moves to the bottom just before the dashed line. Each time I move the mail icon to another position in the dock, it moves back to the last position. Can anyone help me figure this out - so that I can put the mail icon where I want it to appear? Thank you. Dale

    first a question for you. are you using Mobileme? I've seen a number of posts with the same problem by people using Mobileme (which i don't have). haven't seen a resolution to this but you might want to check in the mobileme forum. If you are not using mobileme try resetting Dock preferences. delete the file homedirectory/library/preferences/com.apple.dock.plist and restart Dock by running the following terminal command
    killall Dock
    This will reset your Dock to the default and hopefully fix the issue.

    while moving a clip to the timeline cc puts it to the righ instead of on top

    Maybe it can't put it on the track above it because you have the lower track set as the Source Patching destination.

         <h2>Dog Training Testimonials<br />
           </h2>
         <p>Sending Otis to Brian for the board and train program was the best decision I ever made.  After being told Otis could not be helped and that he should be put down, I was devastated.  Otis has now been back from Brian's program for a few weeks and is extremely obedient and friendly.  He is the same puppy we brought home a couple years ago, but calmer and without any aggression.  We work on Otis' obedience daily as well as walk him and put him on the treadmill.   Thanks to Brian, our dog is happy-go-lucky and more approachable.  The list goes on and on of how Brian has helped the family, myself, and especially Otis.  If you are having issues with your dog, especially behavior and aggression problems, my advice to you is to trust Brian.  Your dog will be in good hands with a safe, reliable, responsible, dog lover that will treat your dog like his own.<br />

    The issue with that white space is explained by the use of relative positioning of your menu. Remember that relative positioning visually allows you to move an element, but that its "shadow" or "foot print" is retained in the document flow. So it still takes up space where it originally flowed in your content, and this causes the header image to position itself the way it does. Turn off the relative positioning of the menu to see what I mean. A simple solution is to set the #header to relative positioning, and then apply absolute positioning to the menu.
    There are other issues with your code. Much of it can be simplified, and you should really stop using ID selectors from this point on, and predominantly use classes instead. The use of ID selectors ought to be limited as much as you can - they force you to write bloated convoluted code.
    Try to write DryCSS (Don't Repeat Yourself).
    Here is my somewhat cleaned up code. Notice I removed and simplified most of the css selectors. Some have no css properties at all anymore. And be careful that you cannot use re-use the same id selector in your html  code: it will not validate. #program1 must become .program1
    PS as always, please backup your files before applying these changes! Dreamweaver lacks a history/versioning feature!

  • Can the position and szing of a control element in a View be controlled from the ViewModel?

    Is it possible to change the position of a control, say a label, as a response to some action/operation from the ViewModel?  Like if one response to something is true then place the label in the top left corner.  If false, place the label
    in the lower right corner.  I realize you could have a label in each position and just set the visibility.  But can the position and sizing of said label be controlled from the View Model?  What would be a sample coding of this?  would
    it be in the xaml or combination of a method in the ViewModel and the xaml?
    Rich P

    First off Rich, say TextBlock to yourself ten times.
    Use a TextBlock rather than a label.
    There are a bunch of different ways to do this and the easiest is to have two controls whose text is bound to the one property.
    Bind the Visibility of each to another 2 properties in the viewmodel.
    Collapse one and Visible the other.
    The reason for that is that it's easier.
    Technically, you could put one textblock in a grid and use margin to control this.  You could animate x y co-ordinates and move the textblock mysteriously across the window if you put your mind to it.
    Or you could put it in a row/column "cell" of a grid and change which cell it goes in - but that would involve some mechanism like messaging from the viewmodel to the view and is not really ideal if you can avoid it.
    I'd have a pair of textblocks, here's one:
    <TextBlock Name="TopLeftMsg"
    Text="{Binding Msg}"
    Visiblity="{Binding TopLeftVis}"
    Both would bind to a public string property msg in the viewmodel.
    They each get their own public visibility property  and that'd be switched between Visibility.Visible and Visibility.Collapsed.
    Sizing of textblocks is best fitted to content because all you see is the text.
    Textboxes are arguably different because you can see the things.
    Hope that helps.

  • How do you fix the position of an object vertically only ("static" position horizontally)?

    I want to fix a "title" bar of a table vertically, but allow it to scroll with the rest of the page content horizontally. At the moment it's position is "fixed" which fixes the position vertically but horizontally too. I would like to have the coloured cells move horizontally with the rest of the table in the case that the browser window is not wide enough.
    Can this be done? If so, how?
    (this picture shows that the horizontal positions are different - would like them to remain in line with each other)
    Sorry if this is a silly question, I've only started using Dreamweaver yesterday... Thank you in advance for any help and advice.

    If you want to align your item horizontally center, left or right (along with other website content), you can put that item within a fixed position container, then align the item within the container however you see fit.
    <html>
    <head>
    <title></title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <div id="container" style="position:fixed; top:0px; height:100px; width:100%; border:1px solid orange;">
         <div id="item" style="width:300px; margin:auto; border:1px solid black">Some Content</div>
    </div>
    </body>
    </html>
    In the simplified example above, the container div is fixed to the top of the page, the item div is also then fixed at the top, however using css, it is  centered to the browser window. The border properties are there for illustrative purposes

  • How to fix the position of controls, so table expands into whitespace and doesn't push lower controls down (invoice report in SSRS 2005)

    I am designing an invoice report. There are some controls at the top of the report (company logo, date, invoice number etc), followed by a table listing the items in the invoice, followed by some controls at the bottom (subtotals, returns address etc). The report should always print onto a single page.
    I want the controls at the bottom to have a fixed position on the page. There is sufficient whitespace between these controls and the table above for the table to expand to list many items. However whenever it expands it pushes the lower controls down. This results in them spilling onto a second page.
    Is there a way to fix the position of controls and suppress the "gets pushed down when controls above expand" effect?

    Thanks for that. I found a good solution using rectangles here: SQL Server 2005: Report Design Best Practices and Guidelines
    Here's the relevant part (see underlining):
    Using Rectangles to Keep Objects Together
    Rectangles in Reporting Services can be used either as graphical elements or as containers of objects. As object containers, they keep objects together on a page and control how object move and push each other.
    To keep multiple objects together on a page, put the objects within a rectangle. You can then put a page break before or after the rectangle by using the PageBreakAtStart or PageBreakAtEnd properties for the rectangle.
    Using Rectangles to Control Item Growth and Displacement
    Items within a rectangle become peers of each other and are governed by the rules of how peer items are positioned on the page as they move or grow. For example:
    Items will push or displace each other within the rectangle.
    Items will not push or displace items outside the rectangle, because they are not their peers.
    If necessary, a rectangle will grow to accommodate the items it contains.
    You can use this logic to your advantage when dealing with objects that expand. For example:
    If you want to leave a blank space in your report for a table to expand into, group the blank space and the table in the same rectangle. When the table grows, it will push the blank space .
    If you want to prevent a matrix from pushing items off the right edge of the page, put the matrix within a rectangle with blank space to its right. Now, the matrix is no longer a peer to the other item on the page and will not be able to push it until the matrix can no longer be contained within its rectangle.

    that's the result i get. Still why can't i just type for ex. 29.55 and stay like that on the cell ? Why does it always change to 2955 or 2955.00. ??
    I don't understand this
    It appears you have the cell formatted to Currency, with the default two decimal places.
    What I don't understand, though is how Numbers arrived at a result of fifty five thousand five hundred fifty five on your entering the exact keystrokes in Yvan's post:
    an equals sign, followed by five ones, followed by a forward slash, followed by a 2.
    Here's the result I get:
    Could you do the following:
    Open a NEW Numbers document using the Blank template.
    Drag the Row and Column control (bottom right corner) to reduce the table to two columns and three rows.
    Enter the words "My table" in cell A1.
    Click on cell B2 to select it, then enter the formula
    =11111/5
    Use only those eight keystrokes; do not include any commas, periods or other characters not shown.
    Click on B2 again to select it.
    Open the inspector and choose the Cell Format button.
    Do not make any changes in the Inspector window.
    Drag the Inspector window to the position shown in my screen shot.
    Take a screen shot that includes the Formula bar, the Table (with cell B2 selected) and the Cell Format Inspector pane (the same screen area as in my screen shot above).
    Post the screen shot in a reply to this post.
    I'm hoping there will be some clues as to what's happening here in the screen shot. Procedure for taking and posting a shot of part of the screen follows.
