Have back up disks but restore does not come up

I had to reload windows so I backed up my itunes with a previous version (not sure which one). When my computer was back up I downloaded Itunes 7. It says to open itunes and insert your back up disk. Then click restore.....but restore does not come up anywhere as an option. I tried going to file - back up to disk - and restore is not an option there either. It says to open itunes and insert disk. Where is this so called restore button!!!! I am going crazy

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Open your iDVD project and go into the Map mode. Made sure the autostart bin on the left is empty.

If you find a video in that bin remove it, save the project as a disk image and check the disk image with DVD Player. Then you can burn the disk image to disk with Disk Utilitiy at 4x for optimal burning.

The reason I say that is, when the phone is in Safe Mode you are able to access the Settings screens with no issues. While in Safe Mode that does block all 3rd party applications from running on the phone. Other than on their website, in the online store, and on the back of the box itself, Apple did not let you know the minimum specifications? Were they supposed to send you a Christmas card with the information? Please don't tell me that when you buy software you don't read the minimum specifications first.
That said, unless you want to upgrade iLife and the same time and purchase iWorks, you can buy the Snow Leopard retail disk for $29 and it will install just fine, assuming that your computer meets the minimum specifications. You might want to post back here with information on your computer just to make sure.
If you are like me and don't use all the applications in iLife and iWorks I word forgo the box set (which is a good price) and buy the apps you want from the Mac App Store. That way if you have no used for Garageband you can buy iPhoto and Pages from iWorks and move on. Need a spreadsheet? You can buy Numbers.

Well, there is full screen view, where the whole toolbar area including the tab bar slides up off the screen, and reappears if you slide the mouse pointer all the way to the top. (You can use the F11 key to turn full screen view on and off.)

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

The reason is because you have seperate page linked via a media query in your head. It links to http://www.sheargrafix.com/tablet/index.html for mobile devices.

Ok, lets do a couple of steps here first:
To make sure your windows isn't corrupted because of the power outage, let's run chkdsk.
Click on My Computer, then right click your C: Drive (if you have other hard drives, you will want to run this on them as well). Then, click Properties. Inside that window, go to the Tools tab. Inside that tab, open up the "Check Now" button. That will open a smaller window. Select the checkbox to "Automatically fix file system errors", then hit Start. You will probably receive an error asking if you want to schedule the disk check, click Yes, then restart your computer.

I keep getting a pop-up to update Firefox, but it does not look authentic and I'm worried it is a virus.

For the past week, I've gotten several pop-ups asking me to "Please update your browser". The thing is, I checked my Firefox properties and it says that my browser is up-to-date. According to my "About Firefox", I am running Version 26.0 and it is "up to date".

This seems to be a scheme to get people to download a third party installer. That latest-browser-update''.''net was just registered on January 5th and the owner has used a privacy service to hide their identity. Hmm... If you get this randomly, it could be generated by one of your add-ons.
Try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
