A friend of mine put music on my ipod from her itunes account. Now i can't put my music up there from my itunes account without erasing the other songs. How can i fix this?

"A friend of mine put music on my ipod from her itunes account. "
This is not legal.  You have no legal right to that music.
" Now i can't put my music up there from my itunes account without erasing the other songs. "
    That is correct.
    How can i fix this?
There is nothing to fix.  The ipod is designed to stop you from being able to steal music as you are doing.
Erase the music you got illegally and sync your own music to your own ipod.

  • What is going on?  I can't access my iPhoto files from any other programs.  It just says "Open iPhoto to see photos from your iPhoto Library in this list", but that doesn't work.  What changed?

All of a sudden I can't access my iPhoto files from any other programs (ie Photoshop, facebook etc.).  It just gives me this message below.  What the **** changed?  This wasn't happening yesterday.

    1 - close iPhoto.
2 - go to your Pictures folder and open the iPhoto Library package as shown below:
3 - locate a file named AlbumData.xml and move it to the Desktop.
    4 - launch iPhoto.
5 - relaunch the other programs and try the media browser again.

  • Cannot print to Adobe Acrobat X from any other program

I recently installed Acrobat X on my Windows XP3 system.  Previously, the Adobe Printer installed by the Acrobat 8 was accessible from any other program.  I simply chose the Adobe PDF printer and the documents "printed" to Acrobat.  With the Acrobat X install, this no longer works.
I've tried repairing the Acrobat X - no luck
I've tried deleting the Adobe PDF printer and then allowing Acrobat to re-install the printer during the repair - no luck
I've checked the Adobe PDF printer properties, and do not have "Enable advanced printing features" checked.
I am using the print spooler.
The Adobe PDF printer is using the Adobe PDF Converter driver.
I've read through a number of discussions/posts, and have not found a solution.  I am working around the problem by printing to pdfFactory program and then saving as a .pdf, then managing the files in Acrobat X.
If anyone is aware of a solution/location, please respond to this post.

Are you saying there is no Adobe PDF printer, or it does not work? If it simply that it does not seem to work, then try to print to file with the printer. Then open the file in Distiller. If you get a resultant PDF, then the problem is most likely that you have somehow deactivated AcroTray.exe in the running applications. The program is in the Acrobat folder and needs to be started in that case. It should also be listed in your boot sequence for startup.

  • How to put music on my Ipod from a CD on Itunes?

So I want to Import Music on My Ipod Touch (4th gen). I don't want to buy the music, It's just a CD I want to import from Itunes.
This Is what I have done so far.....
I connected my Ipod up to my pc using USB cable
I then put the CD into my Computer
    Imported it
    What do I do Next?

Not sure where you see "remove".
When you connect the iPod to iTunes, iTunes sees the iPod and a Sync begins straight away. You don't need to do anything. Once the Sync has completed (you should see an indication of that), then click on eject - which confirms that the iPod can be safely removed (unplugged) from your computer.
It's because the Sync begins automatically and immediately that any changes you want to make are best done before connecting the iPod. There are some changes that do need to be made after the Sync has finished (and with the iPod connected). If you have to make any changes at that time, that is when you would need to click on Sync, in order for the new changes to be put onto the iPod.
There is no reason why iTunes should remove your purchased music when adding CD imports - unless...
you are trying to Sync the CD import using a different computer to the one used for purchasing music.
You have purchased music on your iPod Touch (directly from the Store) but you have not yet transfered those purchases to your iTunes Library, or signed into the Store on your computer. Is your iTunes Library signed into the Store?
You delete the music from your Library.
You untick the box next to a song's title.

  • I don't have a Mac or PC so how do I put music on my iPod from my iPad?

I received an iPad Air for Christmas and just recently bought an iPod nano (the newest generation) under the impression that I can use my iPad to sync music onto my iPod. I am struggling to figure out how to do this. Everything I have read has said that you need a Mac or PC to sync music onto an ipad---I do not have a computer. Only an iPad. Feeling very frustrated that I just bought the iPod for this purpose and now there seems to be no way of even using it. Please help me figure this out.
    Thanks!

I'm sorry, but I don't know where you got that impression, because it is incorrect. You have to sync music to a Nano from iTunes on a computer. You cannot sync the music from the iPad to the Nano or to any other iPod device.
The Nano is useless to you without a computer. See if you can return it. Apple has a 14 day no questions asked refund policy - if you bought it from them.

  • How do I put music on my iPod from itunes and icloud

I recently uploaded my music from itunes up to icloud.
Today I put my ipod classic to itunes and 'synced' and found that the only songs that are now on the ipod are ones itunes hasnt uploaded to icloud or songs I 'downloaded' icloud to me itunes on my mac
Please dont tell me the only way I can sync the Ipod is to redownload all my songs from icloud onto Itunes again...23000 songs..
    Appreciate help!
    Nick

Hmm, after you uploaded the music that wasn't already matched in iTunes did you then delete the tracks from your library or are they still there? If you iPod is set for automatic sync and you removed the tracks from the library then naturally they would have been removed from the device. The iPod classic doesn't come with wi-fi so you can't download content directly to it as you can with an iPhone/iPad/iPod touch, but even with those devices it is not necessarily a good idea to remove your own local copy of the content. iCloud isn't really an alternative to a local library, rather an adjunct to it, letting you access stuff on your library on demand from a device that can't hold it all at one time.
If I've misunderstood then if may be that you simply need to restore the device to repopulate it.

  • When I go to file then print - nothing happens. I can print from email (yahoo) and I can print from any other program on my computer but not from Firefox. Why?

I cannot get the print menu to work in Firefox. I have no trouble printing from anywhere else on my computer. I go to file and the click on either print or print preview and nothing happens - no window of even an error message appear.

    Hi MollyPhloot07,
I'm glad you found the coupons.com app and you might also want to take a look at the GroceryIQ app from the same company.  Please note that at this time, printing is only support from iPad to HP wireless inkjet printer.  That's most likely the reason why your Canon isn't displaying when attempting to print.  The other way to go might be emailing the coupons you want to your email address, then open that email and print from a conventional desktop or laptop computer.
    Hope this helps!

  • Is there a way to put a large amount of music on your iPod without having to keep all the files in iTunes on your computer as well? I want to put my entire music collection (including cds) on my iPod but don't want to take up the space on my computer.

is there a way to put a large amount of music on the ipod without having to keep all the files on itunes as well? I want to use my ipod as an externa drive and put all of my music on it without taking up the space on my computer. I also don't want to lose all my files everytime I plug ipod into my computer. Is this possible? Is there a way to avoid using itunes and only use the ipod as an external drive?

You cannot put music onto your iPod without using iTunes, that what iTunes is for.
It's also not a good idea to wipe the music from your computer and having it only on your iPod. We see countless posts here from people who have done just that - and then lost everything when the iPod needs a Restore. Even if you never need to Restore your iPod, what happens when you eventually replace the iPod? You'll be back here asking how to get the music from one iPod to another. That's not easy to do, we see countless posts about that too!
A much better idea is to buy an external drive (a proper external drive, not simply an iPod) and put your large amount of music onto that drive. Then point your iTunes Library to that drive. However, you need to remember two things:
You still need a backup of that Library.
Using an external drive as your iTunes Library means that the drive must be connected and ready to read before starting your iTunes programme. If it isn't, then iTunes will look on the C: drive - and you will find no music in your Library. (Once again, lots of posts about that as well!)

  • Can i add new music to my ipod from a new computer without losing old music

My laptop was stolen and I want to put music on my ipod from my new computer, however I do not want to lose all my music I already have on my ipod because some of it was not purchased from the itunes store. How can I put the new music I have purchased on my Ipod withot removing the old music?

    - Transer iTunes purchases by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
    - Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here:
Copy music from Ipod to new computer...: Apple Support Communities
    - Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPOd under Devices in iTunes and select backup
    - Restore the iPOd from that backup.
Now the computer will be your syncing computer.
