Put videos back into Photos app??!!!!

Here's the thing... I take random videos now and again when I'm out with friends etc just silly stuff really, but I love looking back at these videos months later. I'm finding with my iPhone that I delete most of my videos say from a weekend away leaving 1 or 2 on there, but even this takes up quite a bit of space over time and I have to delete some more later on to have room to shoot new ones.
I want to be able to put videos back into the photos section of my iPhone 4 in native format (no conversion) and I'm pretty sure they can only be put in the videos section of itunes and synced to videos section of iPod on iPhone (I tried adding to an iphoto album but it didn't transfer to photos section)
Does anyone know if dropping videos into itunes in HD as they are will allow them to sync back to iPhone without conversion?
Does anyone know of a way of adding HD videos shot on iPhone back to iPhone without having to double them up by putting them through iTunes?
I have all my videos stored in a folder on my imac so I can move them around easily, play on my different computers etc but having to add a few to itunes just to watch them on my phone again seems like such a pain.
Ideas welcome
Cheers

In the photos section of the iPhone sync page, there is an option to sync videos as well I believe?
Have you tried that?
(I don't have iTunes with me at work so can't remember for sure)

It's a network issue, not an account balance issue. Troubleshoot your network or just restart your iPod and/or router, try connecting to the Store a bit later, or try the download in iTunes on your computer and then sync the purchase to your device.

  • How do i put Video clips into Imovie, Without Iphoto?

Im using Imovie for a school project, and i need to put video clips into it. But for some reason my mac doesnt have Iphoto, and i've read online that the only way to do this, is through Iphoto??? Does anybody know otherwise?? please help!!

If you have a supported camcorder or camera you should be able to import your video directly to imovie from the camera. If the video is already on you computer, select the imovie File menu, then select import to library and navigate to the movie files you want to import. The article below should help you

If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, then can you find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right) ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it (and/or reinstall it) after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • Import Video into photo app

On the photo app intro video they said can import photos and videos from my digital camera to the iPad.
I work using video feedback a lot and this is one of the main reasons I decided to get the iPad because then I will not have to take my MBP everywhere.
I just tried importing standard mp4 video into the iPad from both my camera and iPhoto but I got the message notifying me that the Ipad does not support the file format..
    Can anyone help?

  • Problem importing photos into photos.app from camera and iPhone

Connect Nikon D300 or iPhone 5S to Mac.
    Photos.app comes on.
    Select: import photos.
-73 photos coming from Nikon in Nikon's RAW format, NEF. 3 would not import because of "error in file format or other problem...."
    -Disconnect the camera.
    -Reconnect the camera.
    -Attempt to import remaining images.
-Last three images import but are now out of order relative to when they were shot.
About 20 photos and videos coming from iPhone. Similar problem but one that required repeating the above process several times to get them all imported.
Anyone else seeing this or have any idea why it would be a problem?
    Thanks

I believe I *should* have an option to add to the library (I've seen screenshots of it).
I'm not sure I understand your question, since I don't recall the screenshot you mention. However, I like to add photos to my library w/o creating a new folder, too.
Here's an example of how I do this with my Nikon photos:
    1. I already have some photos in my library. One folder is labeled Nikon, where I put my D80 photos (all of them, so far).
    2. When I hook my camera/memory card to the computer, I manually drag the images to that folder on my drive called "Nikon". This is the same folder I have imported into LR previously.
    3. Start LR, Select "Import", and migrate to and select that same folder ("Nikon", in my case).
    4. LR will tell you that it is not importing certain files, because they're already in the library. Click OK and LR will import the other, new files into the same "Nikon" folder (in my example).
Voila! ..no new folders in LR, just more photos.:)
Obviously, I've set LR's preferences to "Do nothing" when a memory card/camera is detected.
If I missed your point, sorry for the distraction.
    regards,
    jeff

  • Putting videos back on to the Bloggie

I have a Sony Bloggie and love it. I have taken videos OFF the camera successfully and stored them on the computer. My question is, I would like to put a video BACK on the camera to show it. I have tried using Windows explorer to copy it to the camera [camera when USB attached is recognized as "mass drive"]. That's how I have removed the video in the first place.
Can't get video back on the camera. Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Thanks for the reply, however, that wasn't the problem. What happened was:
I removed the videos OFF the camera on to the computer desktop and renamed them. I wanted to put one of them BACK on the camera but the Sony Bloggie is "fussy" about naming nomenclature and would NOT accept the new name for the movie. The little txt file created with the movie gives a thumbnail on the camera for you to ID it. I had deleted that too.
I download the movies using the explorer directory and moved them to a folder on the desktop. I could "add" the movies back to the camera using the explorer but the camera did NOT recognize them because of the naming nomenclature. It will ONLY recognize the file if it is named "MAH00###.MP4" [#'s = number of image / movie <> but what's important is the MAH00.
I hope this helps all of us. Discovered this on my own <> always experimenting and that's how I discovered my mistake. So if after you remove movies from the Bloggie and you want to put them back on make sure you "retain" Bloggie's naming nomenclature.
Hope this helps everyone with this problem!

  • Re-importing iPhone video back into the iPhone

Last night I shot a video using my iPhone4. I imported it into iPhoto on my MacBook Pro and deleted it from my iPhone. Now I want it back on my iPhone, but I've tried everything and it won't go back onto my iPhone. Pictures in iPhoto in a sync folder are showing up on my phone, but even though the video is in that folder, it doesn't show up on my phone in Photos. Do videos show up someplace else? I'm confused. Help! Thanks!

I found another thread that suggests checking the "include videos" in the Photo sync part of iTunes. I'll try that tonight.

  • How to get iPhone 4s Videos back into Camera Roll?

I need the exact same file with no compression back into camera roll. It was a video that I recorded with my iPhone 4s and accidentally deleted after backing it up to my iMac. I don't want the file to be compressed. I want the original back into Camera Roll. I am using Mountain Lion with everything updated. Even my iPhone has the most up to date iOS.
P.S. Let me make it clear that I do not want the videos to go into the videos app. I NEED it in Camera Roll. Thank you so much for your help.

The only way to do this is to restore your phone from a backup that contains the deleted video.

  • Putting videos back on iPhone?

I've been carefully backing up all of my camera roll onto an external hard drive so I can remove the larger video files once I'm done editing them in iMovie on the phone. I thought I could move them back via drag-and-drop on my laptop. But no go.
Any suggestions how I might get a saved native iPhone video back onto my iPhone? They are too big to e-mail.
    Thanks in advance.

    From page 58:
"You can also sync photos and videos from any folder on your Mac or PC that contains images."
This was the first thing I tried. I created a folder specfically for this, put in the videos I wanted back on my phone and selected this folder in the Photos tab. When syncing was done, it showed a (0) after the folder for the number of images synced, and that folder did not appear on my phone at all.
Hmmm. I think I'll call Apple tech support. I'll report their response.

  • How do I revert images from video back into video after editing in photoshop?

I imported video frames to layers in photoshop so I could remove the background.  How can I revert the images back into video once edited?

Great.  If you want more information about doing animation in Photoshop and After Effects feel free to check out my blog.  It has a few good tutorials that might be helpful especially for working with image sequences.
