Putting cd on ipad from a computer i don't own

I was given several CDs for Christmas that I would like to be able to listen to on my iPad. However, I do not have access to my personal computer. Is there a way to rip the CD to iTunes on another computer and then sync it to my iPad? I know it is easy to get the CD on the iPad from the computer that has my iTunes library, but I'd like to to be able to have access to them on the iPad now, even though I can't get at my regular computer.
Thanks.

  • Can I put Pictures on iPad from my macbook using i cloud?

Just drove back from my moms house where we got her set up with an ipad. I know her mac id and password. Is it possible for me to put pictures on her ipad from my computer? If so How?

I'm assuming that uploading them to a third party storage site, and asking her to download them herself, is perhaps a little too complicated for her, as a new user at this stage.
You could log into her iCloud account, and add the photos through iPhoto on your MacBook. This would require you to logout of your iCloud account, since only a primary account can work with photo stream. It would also require that photo stream was enabled on her iPad.

and on a second problem.  I need to know for sure that my contacts are backed up on my computer

Create a parent folder on your computer to store the named folders of photos that you want transferred to your iPhone. Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, select the parent folder. All named folders of photos within will be transferred to your iPhone as separate folders or albums.
Regarding your 2nd question, this should be easy. Your contacts should be available on your computer with or without an iPhone or any cell phone, which can be lost or stolen.
Although contacts are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process, not a good idea to depend on this either since the iPhone backup includes a significant amount of other data. Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer. With Windoze, this can be with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 along with syncing calendar events and notes, or with the address book app used by Outlook Express with XP and by Windows Mail with Vista and Windows 7 called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only.

Looks like your syncing pics on your computer to your phone.  to remove it when your phone is sync to itunes, uncheck sync in the photos tab.

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

    Good luck Friend.
That's not going to help.  That article is for moving photos from iOS device to computer, not for removing them.  Additionally, photos synced via iTunes cannot be manually removed from the device.  You have to use iTunes to 'unsync' them, as FoxFifth stated.
Camera Roll pictures are the only ones that can be imported from device to computer.  Album folders cannot be moved from device to computer.

  • Can I update my dads ipad from my computer without syncing?

My dad is in town and I want to help him update his ipad to ios5.Can I update my dads ipad from my computer without syncing my stuff onto his ipad??

You could but it's probably not advisable, because as part of the update process all content is removed from the iPad, the update is then applied, and the content is then re-synced to the iPad - so is all your father's content (media, apps, synced photos etc) on your computer so that they can be re-synced back to it ? It is usually best to only sync and do updates via your own computer.

  • I recently reset my Ipod and put pictures on it from my computer.

I recentlu reset my ipod and put pictures on it from my computer. When I opened the picture app there was a ton of folders. How do i delete them ? or delete them from camera roll?

If the photos were synced to the iPod you have to unsync them.
To delete photos from your device
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
    Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
    Click Apply.
If they are in the camera roll album you can delete them by selecting the photo and tapping the trash can icon

  • Charging my ipad from my computer

Does anyone know a driver for charging the ipad from my computer?

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. In rare instances when using the Camera Connection Kit, you may notice that iPad does not charge after using the Camera Connection Kit. Disconnecting and reconnecting the iPad from the charger will resolve this issue.

  • I backed up my iPad to the computer, I don't know where my pictures are stored

I backed up my iPad to the computer, I don't know where my pictures are stored

Your camera roll photos - the pictures that you take with the iPad camera or saved from websites are stored in the iPad backup. You will not see them anywhere on your computer unless you import them to the PC from the iPad.
You cannot see what is stored in the iPad backup on your PC. It doesn't work that way. This explains iTunes backups - what is backed up and where the backup file is stored on the computer. It may be a little different in Windows 8. now.

Out of a silly curiosity, in what way did Ralph's reply solve your problem? (not that Ralph doesn't deserve recognition, mind you.)
